An awesome effort by Brianna Jones carried the Coffee County Central Lady Raiders to a 7-1 win over Lincoln County on Tuesday.
Jones got the win for the Lady Raiders thanks to 13 strikeouts. Jones allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings. She was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game.
Jones racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Coffee County. She hit her 2nd homer of the year in the first inning.
Kaylee Skipper and Shelby Scrivnor had 1 RBI each.

The Lady Raiders will play in a tournament in Murfreesboro Thursday-Saturday. Thursday’s games will be at Riverdale High School with Coffee County taking on Zion Benton, Illinois at noon and Wilson Central at 4pm.
