Hollee Sadler Will Play For State Golf Championship

In the Region 3-AAA golf tournament at Harrison Bay State Park Coffee County’s Hollee Sadler played her way into the state tournament. Sadler shot 84 to qualify to play in TSSAA championship to be played at Willowbrook in Manchester starting Sept 25. The Lady Raiders finished just 4 shots out of a playoff for first. Senior Devin Green completed her high school career with a 91 and teammate Megan Kriz shot 97. Cookeville girls defeated Walker Valley in a playoff for the region championship.
The Coffee County girls ended the season with an overall record of 54-23.
In boys play Coffee County shot 314 as a team falling by 16 shots to the winners from Cookeville. Kyle Johnson who finished one shot short of making the state tournament led the way with a 74. Andy Stout had a 79 and Matt Johnson 80. Seniors Justin Mooneyham and Garrett Adams wrapped up their high school play with 81 and 85 respectively. The Raiders complete an impressive year with an overall record of 72-29.
