District 8AAA All District Golf Team Honors Several Raiders

The golf coaches of District 8AAA have announced the members of the 2015 District 8AAA All District teams. As is expected, both Coffee County teams are well represented as a total of 6 golfers were named to the squads. For the boys, Austin Farris, Hayden Proffitt and John Parigger were named to the squad. Elliot Smith of Shelbyville and Jack Uselton of Tullahoma were the Co-Players of the year. Tullahoma coach Barry Bishop was selected as the boys coach of the year.

For the girls, the state qualifying team of Savannah Quick, Teagan Perry and Sophie Vinson were members of the 6 person team. Malia Stovall of Franklin County was named the girl’s player of the year. Coffee County’s Mike Ray was named the girls coach of the year. The Lady Raider team, along with John Parigger, have qualified for next week’s state tournament to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Willowbrook.
