The Coffee County Middle School soccer team remains undefeated, but a Saturday draw with Warren County provided the first blemish in 7 matches this season. The Lady Raiders and Lady Pioneers battled to a scoreless tie in the 1st half before The Lady Raiders got on the early in the 2nd half. Jenna Garretson fed Julia Duncan on a beautiful cross and Duncan’s goal gave the Raiders a lead they would protect until the 55th minute. The Lady Pioneers got the tying goal in the final 5 minutes to spoil the Lady Raiders Saturday morning party. The Lady Raiders will play host to Tullahoma on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 and Home Town Tuesday will bring you all the action beginning with a 4:20 pregame show on Thunder Radio
The CHS freshman volleyball had a strong performance in the Soddy Daisy tournament on Saturday as they came home with 4 wins. The Lady Raiders got strong performances from everyone on the roster. Alliyah Williams led the team in blocks, Tyanna Fenton led in aces, Lexi Medley and Alexis Baker made the most digs while Karlyssa Meadows was the assist leader.
