Two boats from the Coffee County Youth Bass Club competed in the “Battle of Smyrna” Tennessee Bass Trail Event on Percy Priest Lake on Saturday. Of the 90 boats competing, the boat of Braeden and Colby Thurmond were the high finishers for Coffee County as they finished in 46th place. The Thurmonds landed 1 fish with weight of 0.8lbs. The boat of Taylor Fletcher and Blake Mangrum also competed but did not land a fish as 41 of the boats in the competition were shut out.
The Coffee County anglers will be back in action on Saturday as they close out the fall season with a club event.
