Coffee County Middle School Lady Raiders Open Conference Tournament With a Win

The Lady Raiders of Coffee County Middle School opened CTC conference tournament action on their home floor on Monday night with a 72 to 1 walloping of East Tullahoma.  The Lady Raiders, who scored the first 41 points in the game, held a 38 to 0 lead at the halftime break.  Coffee County started strong with a 3 pointer from Jacey Vaughn, then turned 4 Lady Panther turnovers into 10 points in a 48 second span of the 1st period to put the game out of reach.  Megan Prosser hit a 3rd quarter free throw for East Tullahoma’s lone score.  Coffee County was led in scoring by Julia Duncan who finished with 22 points while Alisha Jennings added 10 points.   Coffee County will advance to Thursday night’s semifinal where they will take on the winner of North Franklin and Warren County.  That game will tip off at 6:30 PM at the Coffee County Middle School Gym.  The Coffee County Middle School Red Raiders open tournament play on Tuesday as they take on North Franklin in an 8:30 PM contest.  All games of the CTC tournament are being played at the Coffee County Middle School gym.
