The Coffee County Lady Raider volleyball team hit the road on Tuesday traveling to Fayetteville. Squaring off against Riverside Christian in a non-district match, Coffee County fell in 4 sets. The Lady Raiders lost by set scores of 21 – 25, 25-21, 22-25 and 13-25.
Coffee County committed 27 unforced errors including 9 service errors. Sarah West had an amazing 25 digs on the match and Gracie Pippenger added 10 but Riverside was able to win the long rallies. Keri Munn had 8 kills and 4 service aces to lead the Lady Raiders in both categories. Munn, Abigail Parker and Keelie Hillis all had 3 blocks. Amanda Mukai finished with 10 assists.
The Lady Raiders are back at home on Wednesday night as they play host to Eagleville. The varsity match gets underway at 6 PM.
