The Coffee County Central High School Red Raider basketball team has had its ups and down this season.  But a revenge win over Tullahoma on Friday night helped ease some of the hurt on Senior Night.  Coffee County led the entire game to capture the 36 to 24 win before a large and rowdy crowd at the Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym.  The Red Raiders used five 1st National Bank 3 pointers in the game to earn a season split with the Wildcats.  Coffee County was led in scoring by senior Wyatt Day who finished with 19 points as he was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game.  Senior Kohl Young finished with 6 points while senior Caleb McKenzie had 3 points and senior Boone Riddle scored 2.

The Lady Raiders completed a season sweep over the Lady Cats with a 52 to 47 win over Tullahoma.  Coffee County was 14 for 19 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter to hang on for the hard fought win.  Bailey Morgan led the Lady Raiders in scoring as she netted 14 points, including 6 free throws in the 4th quarter to earn the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game honors.  Allliyah Williams finished with 11 points and Aerial Williams added 8.

Both Coffee County teams travel to McMinnville on Saturday for a non-district matinee at 3PM.  This game is a makeup of Tuesday night’s contest.  Thunder Radio will bring you exclusive coverage of all the action beginning with the Powers Storage Pregame Show at 2:50.
