Coffee County and Tullahoma each got scoring opportunities in the final minute of play but their middle school soccer match ended in a 1 to 1 draw on Thursday. The Lady Raiders struck first when Jade Arnold pushed a shot past the keeper at the tail end of an impressive Lady Raider press attack in front of the net in the 16th minute.
The 1-0 lead held up into the half, but Tullahoma tied it in the 34th minute on a missed defensive assignment by Coffee County. The Lady Raiders countered with 2 excellent scoring chances in the 47th and 55th minutes but each just missed the frame. With the draw, the Lady Raiders record stands at 3-0-1 in conference play and 4-0-1 overall. The Lady Raiders will have a week off before hosting North Franklin in their next conference match. That match will take place on Monday, September 14th at 4:00 PM at CCMS.
