The CHS Wrestling team competed in the Mt Juliet Bear Brawl on Saturday. The Raider teams finished in 8th place in the dual meet.
In the opening match of the day, Joseph White(138 pounds), Rein Bozich(145) and Owen Teague(152) each got walk-over wins in a 66 to 18 loss.
Against Hunters Lane, Rein Bozich(145) won a pinfall win while Dustin Duke(113) and Owen Teague(152) each got walk-over wins in a 65 to 18 loss.
Against the host Bears of Mt. Juliet, Noah O’Shields(126) won in a forfeit in a 64 to 6 loss.
The wrestlers will host their first home matches of the year on Tuesday as the Raiders will welcome Cookeville and Lawrence County to their home mat at the Coffee County Raider Academy. First match gets underway at 6 PM.
