After finishing as the runner up in District 9AAA, the Coffee County Central High School wrestling team qualified for the Region 5 Duals on Thursday night. Opening the meet with the host Siegel Stars, the District 10 champions, the Red Raiders battled hard taking 6 of the 14 matches to a decision, but could only get one win as they fell 68 to 3. Dustin Seals(285) got a 13 to 11 decision win to notch the Red Raiders only points on the evening. Rein Bozich(132), David Tate(138), Austin Payne(182), Joshua Tobitt(195) and Joel Singleton(126) avoided pins, but could not escape with decision victories. The Red Raiders will return to the gym to prepare for the Region Individual meet coming up on February 5th and 6th at Siegel.
