The Coffee County Central High School swim teams hosted five Rutherford County schools in a set of dual meets on Friday night at the Manchester Recreation Center pool. The boys got wins over Siegel and LaVergne in the team competition while the girls bested LaVergne. Central Magnet was 5 and 0 in both boys and girls competition to claim the team titles.
In individual action, several CHS swimmers had top 10 performances. The CHS girls 200 yard freestyle relay team of Kaycee Scott, Emma Allen, Emily Warner and Ariah Tucker finished first with a time of 2:00.09. The 2nd Lady Raider team of Shelby Cavender, Caitlyn Moore, Svetlana Ingram and Bailee Roberson finished 6th. Daniel Larsen finished 1st in the 100 yard backstroke and 2nd in the 200 yard Individual Medley. Jacob Parnham had a 9th place finish in the 100 yard backstroke. Robert Damron got a 10th place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke. Emma Allen got a 2nd place finish in the 50 yard freestyle as 4 Lady Raiders finished in the Top 7 places in the 50. Hailey Franklin was 5th, Ariah Tucker finished 6th and Emily Warner finished 7th. Anna O’Conner finished 2nd in the 100 yard butterfly as Lili Harris was in 6th place. Kaycee Scott was 3rd in the 100 yard Freestyle as Hailey Franklin finished 6th. The Red Raiders 200 yard freestyle relay team of Daniel Larsen, Jacob Parnham, Trevor Ivey-Bodman and Jeffery Koops finished in 5th place. The CHS boys 400 yard Freestyle Relay team of Trevor Ivy-Bodman, Dillion Bogle, Sammie Mai and Robert Damron finished in 4th place.
