The long bus ride to Lawrenceburg made the CHS Lady Raider soccer team hungry to score goals on Tuesday night, and score they did. The Lady Raiders Eliza Masters scored a pair of goals for Coffee County while Allie Amado and Andrea Vasquez each found the back of the net. Amado was credited with an assist. Ali Shelton had had 6 saves between the pipes to earn the shutout win. With the win, Coffee County improves to 1-0-1 in district play after Thursday’s apparent overtime win over Columbia was ruled a draw.
The JV Lady Raiders won 5 to 2 over Lawrence County as Allison Everette had a hat trick for Coffee County. Savannah Smith and Allie Amado scored the other 2 goals as Everette and Ashley Woods were credited with assists. The Lady Raiders hit the road again on Thursday as they travel to Tullahoma to take on the Lady Cats in a much anticipated district rivalry match. Kickoff is set for 7 PM.
