A pair of second half goals by Caitlin Moore lifted the Coffee County CHS soccer team to a 3 to 0 win over Franklin County on the Lady Raiders home pitch Thursday night. Izzy Huddleston got the scoring started with a goal in the 29 minute to give Coffee County a 1-0 halftime lead. Moore got her first goal in the 59th minute off a pass from Abby Morgan to make it 2 to 0 with 21 minutes remaining. Moore added an unassisted insurance goal in the 69th minute. The Lady Raider defense was spectacular on the night as they held the Lady Rebels to only 4 shots on frame, all of which keeper Ali Shelton handled to preserve the shutout. With the win, the Lady Raiders improved to 2-3-1 in district play. The JV team was also victorious by a score of 4 to 3. Coffee County will be at home on Saturday as they host Wilson Central for an 11 AM match.
