CHS Boys Cross Country Team Captures Warren County Race Title

The Coffee County Central High School and Coffee County Middle School cross country teams opened their season on Tuesday in McMinnville at the Warren County meet. Boasting bigger numbers this fall, the Red Raider and Lady Raider teams fared exceptionally well in their first meet of the season. Unofficially, the Red Raiders won the meet as they placed 4 runners in the top 10 and all 6 scoring runners finished in the top 30. The Lady Raiders, competing with a full complement of 6 runners, placed 2 in the Top 10 and all 6 scoring runners were in the Top 31. The CCMS boys team placed 2 runners in the top 10.

Coffee County will host a home meet on Tuesday, September 13th on the campus of the Raider Academy. That meet will be open to middle and high school teams and will get underway at 4 PM.
