CHS left fielder Zach Wise at bat in Shelbyville on Wednesday
The Huntland Hornets baseball team banged out 14 hits and took advantage of 4 Red Raider errors to defeat Coffee County 12 to 2 on Friday night at Powers Field. The Raiders struggled to find holes in the Hornets defense as they managed 6 hits, but left 8 runners stranded on the basepaths. Zach Wise was 1 for 3 on the night with a 2 RBI single. The Red Raiders will be back home on Saturday as they welcome Stratford to Powers Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM. Lucky Knott will bring you the broadcast beginning with the pregame show at 12:50 PM. The JV baseball team will host a doubleheader with Riverdale on Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 PM at Powers Field.
