CCMS Volleyball Sweeps North Franklin on 8th Grade Night

The Coffee County Middle School volleyball team celebrated 8th grade night on Wednesday with a straight set win over North Franklin. The Lady Raiders dispatched the Lady Gators by set scores of 25 to 12 and 25 to 7. The win raises the Lady Raiders record to 8 and 4 on the year as Coffee County has won 8 of their last 9 matches. The Lady Raiders will finish the conference schedule with record of 5 and 3.
8th graders Lexi Bryan, Maci Head, Maddie Husted, Amelia Parker, Sydney Shipley and Kaylee Smartt were honored after the match as they completed their final home match of the year. Coffee County will finish the season on Saturday in the Lady Pioneer Invitational in McMinnville. Coffee County will play in 4 pool games beginning at 10:00 AM. The single elimination portion of the tournament begins at 3 to crown a champion. The tournament will be held at Warren County High School.
