The Coffee County Middle School JV baseball team swept a doubleheader from Cannon County on Monday in a pair of games at CCMS. In the first game, the Raiders broke open a tie game in the 2nd inning as they dropped the visiting Lions 16 to 6. Coffee County scored in every inning including 4 runs in that pivotal 2nd inning to notch the victory. Braxton White led the Raider hitting attack as he banged out 3 hits, including a double, stole 4 bases and scored 3 times. Trey Rogers als had a pair of hits and scored 3 runs and Nick Watkins had a triple for the Raiders. In game #2, Coffee County substituted freely in a 6 to 3 win. The Raiders baseball team travels to White County on Thursday for a Varsity/JV doubleheader. The varsity game gets underway at 5 PM with the JV game to follow.
