The numbers added up in the Coffee County Middle School baseball teams favor on Friday night as the Red Raiders dumped Boyd Christian 6 to 3. 6 runs scored by the top of the order, 4 pitchers used, 3 hits allowed and 11 strikeouts by the Coffee County pitchers added up to the comfortable win for the Raiders who have won 4 of their last 5 games. Braden Brown, Hayden Skipper, Griffin Meeker and Brandon Jernigan all combined for the win for Coffee Middle. Skipper led the team offensively with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and a pair of RBI while Blanton Brown had 2 singles and added an RBI. Garrett Davis and Jalen Morris also scored twice for the Raiders who return to conference play on Monday when they travel to Franklin County to take on South. First pitch is set for 5 PM.
