CCMS varsity baseball award winners
The Coffee County Middle School baseball team held their end of the season banquet on Tuesday night as they recognized their varsity and junior varsity players for their contributions throughout the season. Head coach Rodney Meeker along with assistant coaches Baxter White, Todd Watkins and Reed Wolfe presided over the festivities and local celebrity and inspirational speaker Nick Trail was the guest speaker.
Varsity award winners were:
Academic Award – Hayden Skipper, Griffin Meeker, Trey Rogers and Braxton White
Long Ball Award – Hayden Skipper and Brandon Jernigan
Most Improved – Jalen Morris and Nick Watkins
Offensive MVP – Hayden Skipper
Defensive MVP – Blanton Brown
King of the Hill – Garrett Davis and Brandon Jernigan
Team MVP – Garrett Davis
Coffee Coaches Show MVP – Hayden Skipper
Most “Christlike” – Hayden Skipper
Red Raider Award(voted on by teammates) – Blanton Brown and Noah Bradshaw
