The Coffee County Middle School baseball team saw another big inning for Warren County spoil the Raiders upset hopes as they fell to the Pioneers 14 to 8 on Tuesday night at CCMS. The visiting Pioneers sent 14 batters to the plate in the 3rd inning as they used 8 walks, an error and 2 hits to plate 9 runs. After spotting the Pioneers a 2 run lead in the 1st inning, the Raiders knotted the score in the bottom of the third on singles from Braxton White and Garrett Davis. Coffee County also managed 4 runs in the 4th inning but could not overcome the Pioneers big 3rd inning. White and Davis each had 2 hits to lead Coffee County. Noah Bradshaw was 1 for 3 with 3 RBI on the evening. The Red Raiders return to the diamond on Saturday, weather permitting, as they play host to Rock Springs. First pitch is scheduled for noon at CCMS.
