The Coffee County Middle School baseball team had the winning run at 3rd base in the 6th and 7th innings but was unable to push that run across as they fell 6 to 4 to Tullahoma on Tuesday night in 10 innings. The game, originally scheduled to be played in Tullahoma, was moved to CCMS on Tuesday afternoon. Tullahoma added 2 unearned runs in the 10th to drop Coffee County’s district record to 5 and 6 on the season. Garrett Davis led Coffee County in hitting as he was 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and a triple. Coffee County travels to Tullahoma on Wednesday for a 5 PM rematch with the Wildcats. The game will be played at Waggoner Park.
