CCMS pitcher Harley Hinshaw delivers a pitch from early season action

Harley Hinshaw pitched a complete game 3 hitter with 8 strikeouts to pitch the Coffee County Middle School baseball team to a 4 to 1 win over White County on Friday afternoon. The Raiders banged out 7 hits on the game including 3 hits in the 2nd inning to take a 3 to 1 lead which they would never relinquish. Trace Bryant laced a 2 out double to right field to drive in Hayden Skipper and Bryson Hullett. Skipper and Hinshaw each had 2 singles on the game. With the win, the Raiders improved to 5-1-1 on the season and 4 and 1 in conference play. The Raiders are back at home on Saturday as they host Boyd Christian. First pitch is set for 2:00 PM.
