Tracy City Man Escapes Inmate Work Detail in Alabama

On Tuesday, while working at the Agricultural Center in Rainsville, Alabama, DeKalb County, Alabama inmate Keith Amos Clark, 43, of Tracy City, Tennessee walked off a work detail and has not been seen since. Low Speed Pursuit Leads to Two Arrests in Grundy County

Two men who led law enforcement officers, including deputies with the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, on a low-speed chase are now behind bars. According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler McClure, 24, and Tyler Moore, 23, led a pursuit that began in Warren County. The pursuit then went through Beersheba Springs before ending in Hubbards Cove after the driver tried to push a patrol vehicle off the roadway. A Bedford County company is asking for state permission to operate a plant in Cannon County. Construction has started for a batch mix asphalt plant at the intersection of John Bragg Highway and Bradyville Road. The builder Hawkins Asphalt Paving, LLC of Wartrace has reached the point in the construction process to request state approval of an air contaminant permit. The proposed operation would consist of a batch mixer, asphalt cement storage, crushed aggregate storage piles, and reclaimed asphalt pavement for making hot mix asphalt. Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing man. Jeremy Dale Anderson, 37 year-old, white male was last seen at his residence on May 23, 2018. Anderson is 6’1″ tall, approximately 180 pounds, has brown hair, blue eyes, and facial hair. He had worn glasses in the past but is not believed to have them with him. The Tennessee Department of Health has been observing National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month in communities across the state this month. National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month is designed to raise awareness about the impacts of teen pregnancy and ways to prevent it. Consistent with national trends, Tennessee’s teen pregnancy rates per 1,000 females declined from 49 in 2013 to 32.5 in 2016. Fake Fire Inspector Arrested

Charges have been filed against a Franklin County man accused of impersonating a licensed fire inspector across a multi-county area, police say. Wesley Mark Shaw, 58, of Decherd allegedly targeted primarily ethnic restaurants operated by people who don’t English well, Shelbyville police and fire personnel said. Bedford County Jail records show Shaw is charged with six counts of impersonation of a licensed professional and one count of criminal simulation.
