TBI alert for escaped prisoner
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Statewide Tennessee Blue Alert for Curtis Ray Watson. Watson is listed as a person of interest in the homicide of a Tennessee Department of Correction employee on August 7th, 2019 and is an escapee from the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee. Tullahoma has four finalists for chief of police job
Tullahoma has narrowed its search for a police chief down to four candidates. After fielding 73 applicants from 23 states, city officials have narrowed the field down to four candidates. Acting chief Phil Henderson is one fo the finalists, along with Phillip Sullivan of Abingdon, Virginia, Michael Eric Anderson of Franklin, Tennessee and Jason Williams of Shelbyville, Tennessee. Damaged Tullahoma soccer fields to be open later this month
You may remember we first reported to you last month that the Johnson Lane soccer fields in Tullahoma had been vandalized. Well now the City of Tullahoma has presented a check for $4,000 to help with repair and maintenance with that cleanup project. It was early morning on July 21 when someone took a vehicle onto the fields and heavily damaged them. A gofundme account has raised nearly $3,500. Dusty Elam basketball league sign-ups open Sept. 16
