Nina Mae Holden
Nina Mae Holden, of Winchester, passed this life on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System at the age of 91. Mrs. Holden was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Idell Ferrell Keplar, Jr. During her life she worked for Genesco, Fuji Film and was also co-owner with her husband of The Diner in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by her husband, Don G. Holden; one daughter, Gwen Hickerson; step-brother, A.C. Smith; and two step-sisters, Imogene Wiggs and Judy Brown. She is survived by two sons, Scott Holden (Sheila) and Michael Holden (Tammy); four daughters, Pat Kahak (Bob), Penny Awalt (Mike), Jacquelyn Pierce (Rob), and Claudette Hawkins (Patrick); one half-sister, Willazene Kilgore; one half-brother, Wayne Smith (Jewel); grandchildren, Bleu Holden, Bart Holden, Lexie Heath (Mason), Chelsea Chellstrop (Chad), Sean Kahak (Emily), Eli Awalt (Riley), Kristin Pierce (Matt), Katrina Pierce, Kimberly Pierce, Kellina Pierce (Phillip), Tera Carter (Jeremy), Sari Hawkins, Michele Perry, and Ryan Hickerson (Terri); great-grandchildren, Forrest, Chase, Allison, William, Matthew, Jessica, Maggie Jo, Jasper, Fiona, Luca, Gretchen, Zander, Luna, Gwennie, Finnick, Maddie, Tyler, and Ellie; and one son-in-law, James Hickerson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00pm with Elder Mike Awalt officiating. Frosty Dean Smith
A celebration of the life of Frosty Dean Smith, age 62 of Charlotte, TN,
will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 1 – 3 PM at Manchester
Funeral Home. Frosty passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
Frosty was born on July 22, 1958, to the late Hugh Forrest and Fran Meadows
Smith in Newton, IA. He was a steel worker for Group Steel Erector, and he
enjoyed watching Nascar in his free time.
In addition to his parents, Frosty is preceded in death by one brother,
Billy Jenkins, one sister, Sara Preston, and nephew, David Jenkins. He is
survived by his son, Forrest Smith and his wife, Brooke, and their
children, F.J. and Audrey; brother, Jimmy Jenkins and his wife, Jane, and
sister, Robin Smith (Byran); nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

J.D. Ferrell Jr.
J.D. Ferrell, Jr, of Decherd, passed this life on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at his home at the age of 64. J.D. was born in Manchester to the late J.D. Ferrell, Sr. and Velma Virginia Harpole-Ferrell. During his life he worked in general labor for Stoneman and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma. J.D. was an avid fisherman and was also a member of the National Rifle Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Sally Ruth Ferrell; and six siblings, Linda Crowley, Ricky Ferrell, LeRoy Ferrell, Donnie Ferrell, Joyce Mixon, and Michael Ferrell. J.D. is survived by five children, Joseph Ferrell (Shawna) of Decherd, Ellarena Crittenden (Keith) of Tullahoma, Virginia Meeks (James) of Shelbyville, Colleen Cooper of Shelbyville, and Paul Golden (Megan) of Maysville, North Carolina; 19 grandchildren; and three siblings, Sandi Conn of Fairview, TN, Robert Ferrell (Barbara) and Ronald Ferrell of Shelbyville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28th, 2021 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-3:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Marty Nutter officiating. Nevaeh Elizabeth Nunley
Miss Nevaeh Elizabeth Nunley, 1, passed away Thursday February 24, 2021 from injuries she received in an automobile accident. She was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on December 7, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kirstin McDole Nunley and unborn
brother, Maddox Liam who where also in the accident; grandparents, Sam and
Pearl Nunley, Don Bivens.
She is survived by her father, Matthew Dean Nunley; brother, Braxton
Matthew McDole; sister, Aria Nicole McDole; grandparents, Chris and Cathy
Mays, Bryan and Augusta Vandergriff, Chris and Cindy Nunley; great
grandparents, Brenda Bivens, Jamie and Mary McDole.

Kirstin Nicole McDole Nunley
Mrs. Kirstin Nicole McDole Nunley, 21, along with her unborn son, Maddox Liam Nunley, passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 from injuires they received in a automobile accident. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 13, 1999.
Her daughter, Neveah also died Wednesday February 24, 2021 as a result of
the accident.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Dean Nunley; son, Braxton Matthew
McDole; daughter, Aria Nicole McDole; parents, Chris and Cathy Mays;
grandparents, Jamie and Mary McDole; brothers, Christopher and Kaden Mays;
uncle, Doc McDole.

Joel Howard Gipson
Joel Howard Gipson of Beechgrove passed this life on Tuesday, February 23,
2021 at the age of 48. Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for
Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2 PM at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
Joel was born in Germany, the son of the late Joe Randall Gipson and Bonnie
Modrall Shelton. He loved being outdoors. He was an avid fan of Auburn
football, the NY Yankees and the Nashville Predators.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents,
Howard and Louise Modrall and Carl and Helen Gipson.
Mr. Gipson is survived by daughter, Allison Gipson of Manchester; sister,
Jodi Stewart of Winchester; grandchildren, Riley Rose and Mila Watson and
special aunt, Patsy Davidson of Louisiana.

Teresa Ann Yates- Nolan
Teresa Ann Yates- Nolan, age 49, of Palmer, Tennessee, passed away
following a long- term illness on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Born November 4, 1971 in Sewanee, Tennessee, Teresa had devoted most of her
life to her family and step children. She enjoyed being at home, dancing
and listening to country music. She favorite singers were Loretta Lynn and
Ronnie Millsap. Teresa never met a stranger and enjoyed making others
laugh. She will forever be remembered as a loving and caring daughter,
wife, step mother and friend.
Preceding her in death is her husband of twenty years, Danny Wayne Nolan;
maternal grand- parents, Bert and Faye Yates and uncle, Richard Yates.
Survivors include her loving mother and best friend, Margaret Yates; three
step children, Timothy Nolan, Erica Nolan and Deanna Nolan; uncles, David
(Shawnee) Yates, Jimmy Yates and Tommy Yates; aunt, Shirley Harrison; close
friends, Talon Crockett, Michael, Chase and Makhaya Griffin; and special
cousin Connie Yates Warner.
Funeral services will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home- Monteagle on
Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2PM with internment to immediately follow at
Eastern Star Cemetery.

Margaret Ann Corvin
Margaret Ann Corvin of Tullahoma passed this life on Sunday, February 21,
2021 at her residence at the age of 69. Funeral services are scheduled on
Saturday, February 27 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial
to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM
until the service time.
A native of Alto, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Howard and
Rosie Mearse Taylor. She enjoyed watching old western shows on TV and
taking walks. She loved being with her family and making people laugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Billy
Corvin and son, Peewee Taylor.
Mrs. Corvin is survived by sons, Bobby Corvin of Tullahoma and Billy
Corvin; daughter, Ann Dahmer (fiancé’, DJ Harrell) of Tullahoma; brothers,
Carl and Jerry Tayler, both of Tullahoma; sisters, Annie Lou Painter (JC
Painter Jr) of Tullahoma and Debbie Taylor of Fayetteville; eight
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mary Lou Gentry
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Gentry, age 84 years, of Manchester,
will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in the
Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Fredonia
cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 9 AM on Wednesday until
time of the service. Mrs. Gentry passed away on Saturday, February 20 at
McArthur Manor in Manchester after an extended illness.
Mrs. Gentry was born on August 3, 1936, to the late Robert and Virginia
Thompson Reece in Ainsworth, Iowa. She was a hairdresser for many years
before she and her family moved to Tennessee. After moving to Tennessee,
she became a member of the Manchester Garden Club, and the MTDA (Middle TN
Decorative Artist Association). Mrs. Gentry loved gardening, painting, and
sewing.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gentry is preceded in death by her loving
husband, Ralph O. Gentry; brother, Kenny Reece; two sisters, Nancy Harriman
and Pat Roland; son-in-law, David Spencer. She is survived by her children,
Robb Gentry and his wife, Carla, Kathy McCormick and her husband, Randy,
and Jeanne Spencer; grandchildren, Amie, Todd, Katie, Kim, Patti, Tina,
Olivia, and Camie; thirteen great grandchildren; and brother, Thom Reece;
several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Donald “Duck” Roberts
Donald “Duck” Roberts, of Fayetteville, passed this life on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the age of 65. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
Mr. Roberts was the son of the late Leslie and Elizabeth Batey Roberts. He enjoyed outdoor hobbies such as gardening and fishing, but he enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
In addition to his parents, Duck was preceded in death by son, Nickolas Jay Roberts; brothers, James Leslie Roberts Jr, David Lee Roberts, Howard Roberts, Harold Roberts; sisters, Elsie Elk Thunder, Laura Mae McNeal, Ann Seat.
