Charlotte Pearl Irish
Charlotte Pearl Irish of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, April 2,
2021 at NHC of Tullahoma at the age of 76. Graveside Services were held on
Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10 AM at Maplewood Cemetery.
A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and
Fannie Ogg Redfern. She was a member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene
and was an avid UT fan. She loved the holidays, especially St. Patrick’s
Day when she could wear “Irish” sweatshirts. She also loved to sing and
would entertain people with her songs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Glenden Irish, she was preceded in
death by seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by sister, Louise
Fowler of Tullahoma.

Billy Wayne Uselton
Billy Wayne Uselton of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, April 5, 2021
at his residence at the age of 52.
A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of the late William “Bill” and
Virginia Ann Angus Uselton. He was an avid TN Titans and San Francisco
49er’s football fan and enjoyed listening to country and rock music. He
also loved his family and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Uselton of Tullahoma; sons, Justin Melton
(Kelly) and Cory Melton (Paige), both of Shelbyville and Billy Wayne
Uselton Jr. (Christy) of Tullahoma; daughters, Ashley Baffo (Shawn) and
Anna Jackson (Drew), both of Shelbyville; brothers, Jason Uselton of Bell
Buckle and Lloyd Uselton of Nashville; sister, Barbara Uselton and
grandchildren, Lucas, Mason, Alexander, Gabriel, Isiah, Briana, Aubrey,
Victor, Libbie, Calie, Braylee, Lilana, Mia-Karen, Braden, Trenton, Ayden,

Jerry Dale Henegar
Mr. Jerry Dale Henegar, age 79, of Morrison, TN,
passed away on April 4, 2021 at his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Henegar was born in Coffee County, TN, on September 23, 1941 to his
late parents B.F. and Alta Heatherly Henegar. He was a member of the Church
of Christ at Pocahontas. Mr. Henegar retired from Goodrich in Tullahoma
after 40 plus years and he was also a farmer. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, James Herman and
Jaunita Henegar; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia Henegar and Dale
Nunley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Lucy Sparks.
Mr. Henegar is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Sparks Henegar,
Morrison, TN; 3 sons, Mike (Midge) Henegar, Morrison, TN, Marty (Jennifer)
Henegar, Manchester, TN, and Don (Kandy) Henegar, Murfreesboro, TN; 3
grandsons, Michael Henegar (Brittany), Manchester, TN, Matthew Henegar,
Manchester, TN, and Jonathan Henegar, Manchester, TN; 3 granddaughters,
Rachel Henegar, Chattanooga, TN, Madison and Megan Henegar, Murfreesboro,
TN; 2 step-grandsons, Jerett and Hayden Ziegler, Manchester, TN; 1 great
grandson, Tripp Henegar, Manchester, TN; 2 sisters, Alice Rigney (Bruce)
and Teresa McFadden of Manchester, TN.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 4:00pm until
8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be
conducted on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central
Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in
Morrison, TN.

Ronnie Junior McGee
Ronnie Junior McGee, of San Antonio, TX, departed this life on, March 26, 2021 at the age of 67. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Monday, April 12 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Kelso, TN.
Mr. McGee was born in Fayetteville, TN to the late Samuel McGee and Ophelia Berry Jennings McGee. A man of many talents, he was an All-Star football player and also played the bass guitar in a band. He also enjoyed motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda McGee (Adrian Green) of Huntsville, AL; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Walter Lewis Shaffer
Mr. Walter Lewis Shaffer, age 83, of Knoxville, TN,
passed from this life on April 5, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his
loving family.
Mr. Shaffer was born on February 11, 1938, in Confluence, Pennsylvania, to
the late Kenneth Jacob Shaffer, and Mary Grace (Fazenbaker) Rowe. Walter
and his late wife, Elinor Jane (Kennedy) Shaffer, resided in Knoxville,
Tennessee. He continued his residence in Knoxville, after he was widowed in
2016. Walter, more affectionately known as Walt, Dad, “G”, and Granddaddy
Walt, was extremely handsome, gentle-spoken, sensitive, humble, and
completely analytical in his thoughts and words. He had a dry sense of
humor, and he was fiercely loyal and devoted to his wife and the rest of
his family. He also deeply loved his dog, Molly. Most everyone knew about
his love of cars, particularly Volkswagen Beetles, and all models of
Porsches. Because of his great humility, however, many were unaware of his
enormous professional accomplishments, which included among other things,
contributions to NASA Apollo Projects 8 through 17 and the Skylab Space
Station, during his work at The Boeing Company/ Aerospace Division.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Judson
Kenneth Shaffer, Thomas Irving All, and David Mitchell Rowe.
Mr. Shaffer is survived by sons, William Rust, Santa Fe, NM, Bradley
(Joyce) Rust, Hartsville, IN; daughters, Cindy (Roger) Brown, Seward, AK,
Jill (Paul) Bruno, Franklin, TN, Joy Shaffer, Knoxville, TN; fourteen
grandchildren, Meagan, Rachael, Derek, Laura, Ian, Dylan, Franz, Alma,
Eric, Valerie, Ali, Olivia, Ben, and Max; six great grandchildren, Jocelin,
Charley Rose, Murphy Claire, Brayden, Ronin, and Harper.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 12 noon until
2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be
conducted immediately following the visitation at 2:00pm. Burial will
follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Dimple V Clifton
Dimple V Clifton of Tullahoma passed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at
the Manchester Health & Rehab Center at the age of 90. Graveside Services
are scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 12 PM at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens.
A native of Dickson, TN, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Hettie
Knight Hughey. She married her beloved husband, Leslie Wilson Clifton in
December of 1946 and relocated to Tullahoma in February of 1947. She was a
member of the Grundy Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Clifton was a wonderful
wife, mother and grandmother and was a true homemaker. She was a great
cook and enjoyed sewing, quilting and other handwork projects. She loved
helping people.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
brothers, Roy Faxon and Athell Verdell and sister, Farris Elizabeth Maynor.
Mrs. Clifton is survived by daughters, Sue Muehlhauser and her husband,
Joel of Manchester and Rebecca Rayburn and her husband, Tim of Waukesha,
WI; sisters, Shirley Rector and her husband, Charlie of Dayton, TN and
Madge Smith and Glema Walker, both of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Emmely
Duncan, Eric Muehlhauser and his wife, Jamie, Ashley Bennett and her
husband, Joshua and Andrew Rayburn and his wife, Lerryn and five great
grandchildren.

Beverly Sue Steele
Beverly Sue Steele passed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at NHC at the
age of 67. Services will be Wednesday April 7, 2021 at 2pm at Daves
Culbertson Funeral home with burial to follow at Turkey Creek Methodist
Church Cemetery. The family will have visitors from 12-2 pm.
A native of Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Cobb and
Jessie Ruth Eggleston. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in
death by her brother Ronald Eggleston. She was a socialite with her friends
at the nursing home and loved winning a game of bingo. She loved joking
around especially with Josh (activities director at NHC). She also loved
being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved God, Bible
studies and Church services as well.
She is survived by; daughters, Stephanie Emery of Scottsboro, AL and Angela
Garibotte of Estill Springs; brothers, Larry Eggleston (Gail) of Tullahoma
and Vincent Eggleston (Jane) of Estill Springs; sisters, Barbara Eggleston
of Manchester and Delores Woodard of Estill Springs; Grandchildren, Jalen
Swain (Haylee) of Estill Springs, Andrew Swain of Tullahoma, Reanna Swain
of Scottsboro, AL, Ian Garibotte of Estill Springs, Ivy Garibotte of Estill
Springs, Britta Williams of Tullahoma; and Great Grandchildren, Kinsley
Grace, Amelia Rose, Kylan Jace, Kayden Brice, Kinsley Annalise and two on

Curtis Lee Millaway, Sr
Curtis Lee Millaway, Sr. of Tullahoma passed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 82 at his home, surrounded by his family. Curtis was born in Guntersville, AL to the late Thomas and Irene Whitmire Millaway. During his life, Curtis served his country as a member of the Army National Guard, worked for Tullahoma Freight, then as a truck driver for Bryan Oil Co. from which he retired. He was also a member of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Millaway is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Millaway; one son, Curtis Millaway, Jr. He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Norwood (Kent), Pamela Millaway, and Melissa Parson (James); one daughter-in-law, Paula Millaway; one brother, Ken Millaway; one sister, Joan Daniel; 13 grandchildren, Brian, Shannon, Jason, Crystal, Nickki, Erica, Roman, Justin, Aftin, Jared, Austin, Lee, and Thomas; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, and neighbors. Visitation for Mr. Millaway will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11:00-2:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Linda Sue Jones
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Jones, age 66 of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Adam Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, April 5, 2021, at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones passed from this life on Friday, April 2, 2021, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Linda was born in Coffee County on October 11, 1954, the daughter of the late Joseph and Effie Wilson. She worked at Batesville Casket Company for 20 years before going into healthcare as a CNA. Linda enjoyed gardening in her flower garden and cooking, but the most important thing to her was her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, Linda is also preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Jones; daughter, Angela Jones; two brothers, J.W. Wilson and Lewis B. Wilson; one sister, Frances Panter. She is survived by her son, Eric Jones; two brothers, Robert Wilson and Cecil Wilson; two sisters, Lillie Shores and Betty Carr; three grandchildren, Andrew Cantrell, Parker Jones, and Brayden Jones.

Steven Houghtaling
Steven Houghtaling of Manchester passed this life on Thursday, March 25,
2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 34. No services are
scheduled.
A native of Oklahoma, he was the son of Michael and Christine Baker of
Estill Springs, who survive. He loved being with family, working, fishing
and anything outdoors. He also played football and baseball.
He is survived by significant other, Nakaita Anderson of Manchester; sons,
James Dicapo, Zachary Norman, Dillion Moore and Steven Houghtaling Jr.;
daughters, Aleyah Houghtaling, Rihanna Houghtaling, Abbie King, Shayla
Anderson and Mia Gaudut; brothers, Gene Houghtaling of Georgia, Michael
Tidmore of Alabama, Logan Baker of Estill Spring, Jason Baker (Samantha) of
Tullahoma, Lorenzo Thomas of Missouri and Eric Burns of Manchester;
sisters, Krystal Storto of Texas, Charlotte Baker of Manchester, Samantha
Walker (Johnathon) of Decherd and Jacqueline Storto (Michael Keith) of
Missouri.
