Roy Bethel Quisenberry Jr

Quisenberry Jr., Roy Bethel , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, June 7 th , 2021 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital at the age of 76. Mr. Quisenberry was born in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Roy B. Quisenberry Sr. and Madeline Wedding Quisenberry. During his life he worked as a Boiler Maker in the Energy Industry and was also a 32 nd Degree Mason. He was raised in Northwest Indiana and retired to Tullahoma in 2000. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Joyce Quisenberry and Lorraine Hanson. Mr. Quisenberry is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Quisenberry; one brother, Bobby (Norman) Quisenberry; two sisters, Anna Sue Corom and Ina Faye (David) Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Parkway NE South Tower, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Barbara A. TeVrucht

TeVrucht, Barbara A. , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, June 7 th , 2021 at her home at the age of 73. She was born to her beloved parents Norman and Deloris in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Michael TeVrucht. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald “Jerry” TeVrucht; one son, Mark T. TeVrucht; daughter-in laws, Margaret A. TeVrucht and Brooke L. TeVrucht; grandchildren, Jared E. TeVrucht, Mason S. TeVrucht, and Mallory L.A. TeVrucht; one brother, Gary L. and his wife Barbara; and one sister, Diane (Dave). As a farmer’s daughter, she grew up in Collins, Wisconsin and went to public grade school in a rural one classroom school. Barbara graduated from Valders Wisconsin High School and went on to work as a dental assistant. She was introduced to her future husband, Jerry, on a blind date in the late summer of 1966. They married on June 29 th , 1968 in Kiel, Wisconsin and lived in Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and Grayslake, Illinois before moving to Tullahoma in the summer of 1978. Barbara was a mother and was active for years in the Republican Women’s Organization. She also was very involved in quilting guilds. Barbara’s son, Michael passed in 2016 of pancreatic cancer and she was diagnosed with the same disease on January 20 th , 2019. She survived 44 rounds of chemotherapy and appreciated Dr. Ahmed and his professional staff at Tennessee Oncology. When chemotherapy was no longer working, she went to the Sarah Cannon Research Center in Franklin where she enrolled in a five-session clinical drug trial, which she unfortunately didn’t respond to. Barbara loved her children and grandchildren and watching them all succeed. Quilting was her passion and she loved to meet fellow quilters. Barbara also loved RVing and She and Jerry spent many winters in their RV in Gulf Shores, Alabama. A celebration of life service may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and food, the family asks that donations be made in Barbara’s memory to your favorite charity, the Ronald McDonald House, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Joe Davis Walker

Walker, Joe Davis , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, June 7 th , 2021 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital at the age of 82. Mr. Walker was born in Lynchburg to the late Charlie O. and Mary Dixie Edde Walker. He served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm and also worked as a Highway Marking Supervisor with TDOT. Mr. Walker was also a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Rex. D. Walker. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Faye Walker; two daughters, Denita Walker Kraus and her fiancé Ray Turley and Nina Faith Carswell; one sister, Charlene Gore; grandchildren, Kara Kraus, Lucas Kraus and his wife Holly, and Nikki Walker Pitts and her husband Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Khloe, Sydney, Ayden, Damarius, Harper and Cooper. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10 th , 2021 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11 th , 2021 at 1:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Lynchburg City Cemetery. Clifton Wright Freels

Clifton Wright Freels of Manchester passed this life on Tuesday, June 8,
2021 at his residence at the age of 84. A Celebration of Life Gathering
will be held in his honor on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his residence, 70
Old Mount View Road, Manchester, TN, beginning at 2 PM.

Mr. Freels, a native of Kalamazoo, MI, was the son of the late Cliford and
Madge Layes Freels. He served in the U S Air Force and the Air National
Guard for forty years.  He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with all sorts of
things. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary B.
Freels and sister, Patricia French. Mr. Freels is survived by son, Gregory
Freels of Manchester; brother-in-law, Pete French of Manchester and
grandsons, Austin, Blake and Preston Freels.

Johnny Woodrow Giles

Johnny Woodrow Giles, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, June 4 th , 2021 at his home at the age of 78. Mr. Giles was born in Chapel Hill to the late Simmie and Clara Lucas Giles. Mr. Giles served his country in the United States Army and then went on to work in General Labor with American Can. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Giles; and one brother, Tommy Giles. Mr. Giles is survived by nephews and niece, Johnny Ray (Sylvia) Giles, Brian Giles, Marlon (Cindy) Davis, and Pam (Tom) Taylor; several great nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Barbara Waller. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7 th , 2021 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 1:00pm with John Gipson and Rudy Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at New Reddens Cemetery.

Robert “Bobby” Edwin Hill

Robert “Bobby” Edwin Hill, age 74, went to be with his heavenly father
Monday, June 7, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He was born February 17,
1947 in Gouverneur, New York to the late Edwin and Harriett Hill.  Bobby
was a very outgoing, loving person that had a great sense of humor.  He
loved children, animals and watching John Wayne movies.  His family
remembers him as an active walker that enjoyed a good steak and baked
potato.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Alice Hill; son, Gordon Parker; daughters,
Tracy Parker and Jeaneen Hills; brother, Kenneth “Kenny” Hill; sister, Anna
Williams; grandchildren, Robert Hills, Leanna Massey, Jason Williams,
Samuel Johnson, and Michael Coy Parker; great-grandchildren, Logan Massey
and Liam Massey; niece, Daneen Scoggins and nephew, Michael Williams

Betty Jean Yates

Mrs. Betty Jean Yates, age 86, of Manchester, TN,
passed from this life on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Manchester, TN.

Mrs. Yates was born in Summitville, TN, to her late parents Robert Glenn
Winn and Minnie Ellenbury Winn. She was a homemaker for much of her life.
Mrs. Yates was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jessie Wayne
Yates; daughter, Kristi Wynette Yates; brothers, Leon Winn, Robert Winn,
Cecil Winn; sisters, Joy Bailey, Evelyn Haynes, Myra Pica, and Glenda
Mullins.

Mrs. Yates is survived by daughters, Yvette Yates Lowe and Nicky, Lucrieta
Antoinette Yates and Orles Baugh; sisters, Pat Hill, Sherry Bright, and Sue
Keilman; grandchildren, Jeremy D. Hershman, Joshua Ryan Yates, Lindsey
Celeste Grider-Jarvis, and Lauren Kelly Grider; great grandchildren, Callum
John Jarvis, Jayden and Lexy Yates, Jaileb Yates, Jace Yates, and Keira
Yates.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 5:00pm until
8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be
conducted on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Central
Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Eschenfelder officiating. Burial will follow in
Asbury Methodist Cemetery.

Mark Edwin Petty

On June 1st, 2021, the Lord called home Mark Edwin Petty as he was surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born on March 11, 1961 in Manchester, Tennessee and retired from Batesville Casket Company on January 1st, 2019 after 35 years of service. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. He loved Nascar racing, hunting and fishing. He also took great pride in caring for his lawn and garden. Mr. Petty was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Petty; grandparents, Dewey and Willie Mae Petty & Dave and Pauline Harris. Mark is survived by, loved and adored by his wife of 41 1/2 years, Kava Petty. Mark and Kava also raised two sons, Phillip (Ivy) Petty and Christopher Petty. Mark was the most admired Pa to his grandchildren, Bradley (Taylor) Tobitt, Joshua Tobitt, Blythe (Brandon Presley) Petty, Adam Petty and Brynlee Petty. He was also a proud great grandfather to Carson and Gage Presley. Mark was raised by remarkable parents, Steve and Joyce Knight. He is also survived by his loving mother-in-law, Rebecca Harryman. Ruth Pardue Craddock

Craddock, Ruth Pardue , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, June 3 rd , 2021 at her home at the age of 95. Mrs. Craddock was born in Joelton, TN to the late Richard L. Pardue Sr. and Minnie Edmundson Pardue. During her life she worked as a bookkeeper at ERPUD and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Tullahoma where she was a member of the Kinozelian Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Craddock was preceded in death by her husband of 60, Robert Cordell Craddock, who died in 2002; one brother, R.L. Pardue Jr.; and four sisters, Anna Mary Maddox, Aline Barnes, Virginia Phillips, and Dorothea Anderson. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Janie) Craddock of Summitville, and Andy (Jayne) Craddock of Tullahoma; one brother, Murray (Nancy) Pardue of Orlando; grandchildren, Brian Craddock, Timothy Craddock, Christian Craddock, Bobbi Marshall, Vanessa Craddock, and Andrew Craddock II; and great-grandchildren, Melinda, Emily, Matthew, Christopher, Ephraim, Olivia, Michael, Noah, Lily, Emily Elizabeth, Gabriel, Liam, Brianna, Kelly, Rebecca, Emily Faith, and D.J. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 6 th , 2021 at 2:00pm at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Wilburn Ray Walker

Mr. Wilburn Ray Walker, age 81 of Manchester, was born on November 2, 1939,
in Lynchburg, TN. He was a member of the Estill Springs Church of Christ
and attended the Highland Hills Church of Christ in Tullahoma. Mr. Ray
served his country in the TN National Guard. He enjoyed bird watching,
woodworking, fishing, and being out in nature, but his greatest pastime was
reading, especially his Bible.

Mr. Ray is preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Leigh Todd Walker, and
recently, his son, Carl Walker. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Taylor
Walker, stepson, Terry Hopkins and his wife, Lona; stepdaughter, Denise
Wooten and Colt Hall; daughter-in-law, Maria Moore Walker; grandchildren,
Leah, Jessica, and Chris Hopkins, Brent Vaughn and his wife, Tara, and
Bradley and Brandon Wooten; great grandchildren, Alli and Sadie Vaughn, and
Journey Hopkins; brother, Franklin Walker and his wife, Marie; sister,
Nancy Lemons and her husband, Jack; several nieces, nephews, and a host of
friends.

A memorial service and a celebration of Mr. Ray’s life will be held at the
Highland Hill Church of Christ at a later date.
