Margaret Bernice Barr
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Bernice Barr, age 83 of Manchester, will be conducted at 3:00PM on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Clouse officiating. Burial will follow in Farrar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Mrs. Barr passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 6, 2021, at her residence in Manchester, TN.
Bernice was born in Louisville, KY, on July 5, 1938, the daughter of the late Elmo and Edith Whitaker. She was an amazing cook who loved to fish and be in her garden. Bernice enjoyed shopping, thrifting, and listening to Bluegrass music. She never met a stranger, and she would take care of anyone who needed it. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, Bernice is also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Barr; brothers, Joe Whitaker, Leroy Whitaker, Billy Whitaker, and Albert Whitaker; sister, Barbara Roberts. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Raymond Barr; sons, Curtis Barr, Will Barr (Regina), Gary Barr (Sharon), Danny Barr (Diane), and Roger Barr (Sabena); daughters, Darlene Lumbley (Herman Lewis) and Wanda Spivey (Mike); daughter-in-law, Jennifer Barr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Lynda Faye “Gigi” Dobbs
Funeral services for Lynda Faye “Gigi” Dobbs. age 68 of Manchester, will be conducted on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 11 AM in the Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Blanton Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, from 7 – 9 PM at the funeral home. Lynda went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 10 at Manchester Healthcare Center.
Lynda was born on July 25, 1953, in Manchester, to the late Calvin Farrar and Polly Limbo. She was of the Baptist faith, and she enjoyed UT football, music, and especially spending time with her family. Lynda was saved and baptized August 8, 1982, her brother, Keith Farrar’s birthday.
In addition to her parents, Lynda is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dobbs, and brother, Keith Farrar. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Dobbs Blanton of Manchester; grandchildren, Blayne and Quenlin Blanton of Manchester; brother, Rick Farrar and his wife, Vickie of Lynchburg; sisters, Carolyn Hollingsworth of Manchester, Kathy McCullough of McMinnville, and Shela Watson and her husband, Butch, of Normandy; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Patricia K Banks of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, August 9, 2021 at
Signature Healthcare of Monteagle at the age of 67. No services are
scheduled.
Patricia, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of the late Steve King
Banks and the late Mary Jean McMahan Banks Halcomb. She is survived by
brothers, Barry Banks (Jan) of Tullahoma and Bruce Banks (Gail) of
Greensboro, SC; sister, Jean Marie Banks of Waverly and several nieces and
nephews.

Alma Ruth Judge
Funeral services for Ms. Alma Ruth Judge will be conducted on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at 11 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Ms. Judge passed away at her home on Sunday after an extended illness.
Ms. Alma was born on November 28, 1945, in Prairie Plains to the late Franklin William and Cora Sanders Bradford. She loved yard sales, flea markets, cooking, and working in her flower beds. Ms. Alma’s favorite past time was raising her mules and her chickens.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Judge and five brothers, Jessie, Floyd, Hershall, Willie, and Monroe Bradford. She is survived by her partner of 15 years, Gary Cook; son, Garland Judge and his wife, Young; daughters, Emma Jean Cowan and her husband, Larry, and Betty Kay Holt; grandchildren, Kevin Long, Nicole Rayas, Travis Long, Sonya Wiser, Jessica Hernandez, and Cassie Perez; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a countless number of friends.

Glenda Kay Cornelison
Mrs. Glenda Kay Cornelison, age 66, of Manchester,
TN, passed from this life on Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Nashville, TN. Mrs.
Cornelison was born in Franklin County, TN, to her late parents Everett
Walker and Rose Jane Tilley Walker. She loved gospel music, the color
purple, was crazy about animals, loved flowers and bird watching, and loved
her friends and family very much. Anyone that knew Mrs. Cornelison was
touched by her and was a loving mother, wife, and friend. She was a member
of Common Salvation Church, which was established in 1990. Mrs. Cornelison
is survived by her husband of 44 years, Buddie Leon Cornelison; sons,
Darrell (Melodi) Cornelison and Daylon (Stephanie) Cornelison; daughters,
Rachel Cornelison-Johns, Tina Leanne Dunford, Teresa Leah Davis;
granddaughters, Chelsey Nicole (Cody) Presley and Chevell Lyndi Cornelison;
grandsons, Daylon John Cornelison and Chaylux Ledge Cornelison; several
other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation with the family
will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central
Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on
Friday, August 13, 2021, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home.

Harold Dean Duke
Mr. Harold Dean Duke, age 78, of Manchester, TN,
went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, with his children at
his side. He was deeply devoted to God and loved his family dearly. He was
born February 2, 1943, in Summitville, TN to his late parents John W. Duke
and Leona D. Duke. Harold loved the Lord, his family, church, and
community. He served in the US Army in Okinawa during the Vietnam War,
worked many years as a brick Mason, and retired from the US Mail at the age
of 77 with 27 years of service. He will be dearly missed by many. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marie Duke;
brother, John Duke; sisters, Betty Duke and Nina Duke; granddaughter,
Summer Duke. Mr. Duke is survived by his children Tim Duke (Melissa), Jan
York (Keith); brothers, Donald Duke (Katherine), David Duke (Pat); sister,
Patricia (Bob) Wilgus; grandchildren, Tyler, Kinsey, and Kyle, and very
special friend Jean Patton. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday,
August 8, 2021, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in
Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following
visitation at 2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Earl Cairns

Vivian Ernestine Brothers Henley
Vivian Ernestine Brothers Henley, age 79, gained her angel wings on Friday, August 6, 2021, at her home in Manchester Tennessee surrounded by her family.
Vivian was born October 2, 1941, in her family home in Gossburg, Tennessee to the late Ernest Wilson Brothers and Pauline Esther Parker Brothers. She was the youngest of two children and was preceded in death by her older brother Larry Pruitt Brothers. Vivian was educated in the Coffee County School System and went on to graduate with honors as a Registered Nurse at the St. Thomas School of Nursing.
Vivian married Ernest Edward Henley in 1964 and were blessed with three children from this union. Brett Henley, Stacey Henley Cravens and Leslie Henley Trussler.
Vivian professed her faith and life to Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Manchester Tennessee. She loved the Lord and enjoyed using her talent to praise him through playing the piano. She truly demonstrated the gentleness of Christ through her daily words and actions.
Vivian loved to read her bible and to truly act as a servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She demonstrated this by serving in several roles in the following organizations: Coffee County Hospital Board , Medical Center of Medical Center Advisory Board, Trustees for First Methodist Church, First Methodist Church Administrative Board, and the Department of Children Services Board. She was the founder of the Coffee County School System Nursing Program in 1978. She was the only school nurse, traveling to all eight schools within the system caring for the students. She retired from her role within the system in 1999. The impact Vivian had on so many lives is still talked about today.
She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend. Vivian was known for always putting others first and never speaking ill of anyone. She was an example to many and leaves a legacy of a true Christ follower.
Vivian leaves to cherish her loving memory , her husband, Ed; children: Brett, Stacey and Leslie. Five grandchildren, Ashley Henley Sager, Andrew Henley, Connor Cravens, Jett Trussler, and Tripp Trussler. Her beloved Dachshund, Henry Longfellow, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Vivian will be conducted at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Funeral services for Mr. John Daniel “J.D.” McCullough, age 92 of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Hart and Bro. Mr. McCullough passed from this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN.
J.D. is the son of the late J.D. “Huss” McCullough and Mattie Cates McCullough. Born on September 20, 1928, in Manchester, TN. He married Della Ezell Rhoton on July 2, 1949, in Walker Co., GA. She passed away on July 20, 2013. J.D. became a member of the Church in the early 1950s. He taught children’s Bible class at Antioch Church of Christ. He preached when we didn’t have a regular preacher. J.D. was a faithful member, serving the Lord for several decades.
J.D. is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Mattie McCullough; beloved wife of 64 years, Della Ezell Rhoton McCullough; brothers, Thomas, L.D., Aubrey, James, Jack, Buford, Bobby, Oscar, Joe, and Granville; sisters, Pearl Adcock, Pauline Buttrey, and Betty Simmons; son, Jeffery (Jeff) Lynn McCullough; granddaughter, Alisha Danyl “Dandy” McCullough; son-in-law, Jacob Wilhoite. He is survived by his daughter, Della Faye McCullough Wilhoite; sons, Daniel “Danny” McCullough (Sherry), Robert McCullough, Marlin McCullough (Doris), John Daniel McCullough, III (Beverly), Travis McCullough (Linda); daughter-in-law, Sandy McCullough; brother, W.J. McCullough; sisters, Hazel Duke, Jean Floyd, and Ann Haynes; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Steve Edward Qualls, Sr
Funeral services for Mr. Steve Edward Qualls, Sr., age 56 of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00PM on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating. Mr. Qualls passed from this life on Monday, August 2, 2021, at St. Thomas – Midtown in Nashville, TN.
Steve was born in Coffee County on May 14, 1965, the son of the late Charles and Frances Qualls. He worked at Ambassador Inn Motel as a maintenance man until his retirement. Steve met the love of his life, Michelle at the age of 15. They were married for 34 years, and Steve was the rock of the family. He would do anything for anyone, but especially his grandson’s. Steve enjoyed woodworking and never took a penny for anything he made. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Steve is also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Qualls and Gary Wayne Qualls; one sister, Diane Bradford. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; son, Steve Edward Qualls, Jr. (Carissa); daughter, Stephanie Moffitt (Luther); sisters, Patricia Henley and Kathy Hennessee; grandsons, Kyle Qualls, Hunter Moffitt, Peyton Qualls, and Bentlee Moffitt.

Olivia Ann Evans
Olivia Ann Evans, of Normandy, passed this life on Monday, August 2 nd , 2021 at her home at the age of 75. Mrs. Evans was born in Houston, Texas to the late Roy and Olive Poulignot Brent and was a member of First Christian Church in Tullahoma. She was also an ordained minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanne Sap; and one brother, Thomas Brent. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Evans; one daughter, Elizabeth Yurchak and her husband Thomas; and five grandchildren, Shad, Evan and Kameron Yurchak, Brandon Hedges and Karissa Evans. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
