7/21/12 — Johnnie McCormick Charles Elliott
Mrs. Johnnie McCormick Charles Elliott age 94 of Tracy City went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her loving husbands Mr. Joe Charles, and Mr. James Elliott; her parents Bransford and Mary Elizabeth McCormick.
Survivors include her children Myrna (Pat) Nesbit of Tracy City, TN, Judy Parmley of Marietta, GA, Nickie (Louis) Garner of Chattanooga, TN, and Leslie Charles of Tracy City, TN; brothers Clifford McCormick, and Paul McCormick; sisters Adalene Cole, Frances Hall, and Doris Winton; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with The Reverend Dr. Linda A. Hutton officiating.
Committal services will follow at Plainview Cemetery, Tracy City, Tennessee with Reverend Ray Winton officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

7/21/12 — Bradley Allen Gore
Bradley Allen Gore, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, July 18th, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN at the age of 32.
Born in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Kenneth and Ann Gore, Bradley was a graduate of Moore County High School and Middle Tennessee State University. He worked as an office manager for Dr. Glenn Davis in Manchester and was a member of the Estill Springs Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Gore is preceded in death by his grandparents, F.E. and Bessie Gore, and Hobert and Estia Hill.
In addition to his parents, Bradley is survived by his wife Andrea Gore; one daughter, Anzleigh Gore; and one unborn child all of Tullahoma; one brother, Mitchell Gore and wife Ashley of Tullahoma; one sister, Cindy Jones and husband Chris of Tullahoma; In-Laws, Wanda and Donald Russell of Tullahoma and John Kelley of Lynchburg; Brother-In-Law, John T. Kelley and wife Jessica of Tullahoma; nieces and nephews, Faith and Ethan Jones, Aubreigh Harris, Sara Beth, Kirkland and Brayden Kelley .
Visitation for Mr. Gore will be held on Friday, July 20th, 2012 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm.
The funeral service will be Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at 11:00am at the Estill Springs Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Matt Hastings officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Wendell Thomas Jones, age 21 of Shelbyville, formerly of Decherd passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Heritage Medical Center.
He is survived by his father, Tommie Lee Jones of Winnsboro, SC; mother, Carlotta D. Scheaffer (Harold) of Shelbyville; sister, Victoria Jones of Shelbyville; grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Lee (Henry) of Winnsboro, SC; aunts, Gina M. Sims-Johnson of Decherd, Therosha Jackson of Winnsboro, SC and Toni Hall of Augusta, GA; uncles, Wendell Payne Sims of Albany, KY, Kenneth Lee Jones of Germantown, MD, Anthony Jones of Baltimore, MD and Jay Tyrone Jones of Timmonsville, SC; cousins, Shaun C. Sims-Johnson of Decherd and Aimee K. Ballanger of Chattanooga; and a host of great- aunts, great-uncles, other cousins, family and friends.
Visitation is 12-2 PM Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with funeral services at 2 PM.

7/18/12 —- Clifford Jessie Winton
CLIFFORD JESSIE WINTON, age 56, of Estill Springs,Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Winton was employed as a dry wall finisher. He was a member of the Lexie Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Belvidere. His hobbies were fishing and hunting rabbits, or “running his dogs”.
Mr. Winton was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Winton and brother, Ronnie Winton.
He is survived by his daughter, Chasity (Tommy) Magouirk son, Dayton(Wendy) Winton all of Winchester, Tenn., Devoted Companion, Glenda Mines of Estill Springs, sisters; Loretta Austin, Mitzi Morris both of Tullahoma, Wanda Burk of Petersurg, Tenn., grandchildren; Cierra and T.J. Magouirk, Tyler, Landon and Brasyn Winton and ex-wife and friend, Debbie Brandon, of Estill Springs, Tenn.
Private graveside services are scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Wednesday evening.

7/20/12 — Emma Jean Blaylock
Emma Jean Blaylock, age 82, of Lafayette, GA and formerly of Franklin County, went to be with the Lord Tuesday July 17, 2012 with her son Michael by her side.
She was born at St. Andrews, TN near Sewanee, to the late Dorothy Annie Foster Graves and Lawrence Augustine Graves. She made her home in Franklin County until 1953 then moved to Northern Georgia where she worked tirelessly as talented seamstress. She attended the Baptist Church all her life until her health began to fail. She especially enjoyed flower gardening, painting, reading and sewing. She will be remembered by her family as a woman of strong character, and always having a friendly smile for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Jean March, Virginia Alford and Lillian Jones; brothers Douglas Graves, Richard Graves and Elmer Graves and an infant daughter.
Left to cherish her are her sons, Michael A. Cook of Lafayette, GA and Paul (Janie) Blaylock of Clarksville, TN.; sister Deborah (Everett) Kerley of Rossville, GA; grandchildren Robin Cook, Michael Johnston, Christine Blaylock and Briana Blaylock; numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday July 20, 2012 with Mickey Henley officiating.
Interment will follow at Eastern Star Cemetery in Sewanee with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Thursday July 19, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home.

7/20/12 — Jeanne Dianne Christian
Jeanne Dianne Christian, age 53 of Tullahoma, passed away Saturday July 14, 2012 at her home.
She was a native of Hunstville, AL and a 1976 graduate of Lee High School. Following graduation, she moved to Dalton where she worked in the carpet industry. Since 2004 she had made her home in Coffee County. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Estill Springs.
She enjoyed shopping, fishing and, above all else, her dog and closest companion “Ruro”. In her spare time she was an avid TV watcher. She greatly enjoyed soap operas, the History Channel and murder mysteries. She will be remembered by her family as being loved by all.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Patricia Wells, Penny Rhines and Sherry Bogue; brother, Danny Young.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Johnny) Lee of Rome, GA; son, Doodle (Vanessa) Burns of Rocky Face, GA; sister, Brenda Price of Tullahoma; brothers, Randy Tielkings of Huntsville, AL and Anthony Young of Tullahoma. Grandchildren, Johnny Lee, Jr. and Hayden Burns.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 20, 2012 from 5- 6 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m.

Mrs.Margaret Woodlee age 90 of Coalmont, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Fannie Nunley; husband, William Woodlee; son, Ray Alton Woodlee; sisters, Gladys Frederick and Pauline Nunley; brothers, Leslie, Jimmy, John, Phillip, Dee and Bill Nunley.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Dewayne) Asberry, Coalmont, Marie (Richard) Phillips, Warner Robbins, GA and Frances Ritch (Mike Brumlow) Soddy Daisy, TN; daughter-in-law, Wilma Sue Woodlee, Coalmont; brother, Charlie (Bum) Nunley, Tracy City; 6 grandchildren, Greg Woodlee, Michael Caldwell, Stephanie Caldwell, William Asberry, Mathew Ritch, Shelbie Phillips; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryson Woodlee, Jacob Woodlee and Jaylen Caldwell; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Rick Hawkins officiating.
Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery.
