Janelle Lynn Stacy Carter
Mrs. Janelle Lynn Stacy Carter, age 51, of Beechgrove, TN, passed from this life on Monday, September 6, 2021, in
Murfreesboro, TN.
Mrs. Carter was born in Manchester, TN, to her parents James Buford Stacy
and Josephine Jones Stacy Baker. She worked in the Coffee County School
System as a cafeteria worker for 24 years and she was a member of Victory
in Jesus of Living Springs. Mrs. Carter loved going to dirt car races in
her free time and loved spoiling her two kids and granddaughter. She was
the best friend you could ever have and was a loving momma, nana, and wife.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dean Carter; mother and
step-father, Jo Stacy and Meredith Stacy; father, Buford Stacy; son,
Zachary Carter; daughter, Katie Carter; brother, Jamie (Brenda) Stacy;
step-sisters, Janice Gray and Joyce (Kevin) Duke; granddaughter, Kinsley
Willis.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from
5:00pm until 9:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral
services will be conducted on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:00pm in the
chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Sidney Parham officiating. Burial
will follow in Gilley Hill Cemetery in Beechgrove, TN.

Thomas Leonard “Tommy” McCormick Jr.
Thomas Leonard “Tommy” McCormick Jr., age 53, of Manchester passed away
Monday, September 6, 2021. He was born January 31, 1968 in Manchester, TN
to the late Thomas McCormick and Janice (Ricketts) McCormick. He is also
preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kenneth Dunn.
The family will receive friends from 10a.m. – 12 noon Thursday, September 9
th at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the
chapel at 12 noon with interment following in Summitville Cemetery.
Tommy is survived by his children, Mindy Thompson, Brittany White (Daniel),
Thomas Leonard McCormick III, Joshua McCormick, Brandon Coil, Madisyn Coil
and Cheyenne McCormick; siblings, Christopher McCormick (Teresa), Teresa
Dunn and Tabitha Warrick (James); grandchildren, Rylan Johnson, Saylor
Boyd, Serena White, Dorian White, Daniel White Jr., Tauriel White, Lilith

Buddy Quinton Cutshaw
Mr. Buddy Quinton Cutshaw, age 82, of Estill Springs, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Cutshaw was born in Greeneville, TN, to his late parents Everette
Quinton Cutshaw and Mabel Johnson Cutshaw. He very much enjoyed fishing and
being on the lake when he could. Mr. Cutshaw loved his wife and family very
much and enjoyed spending time with them. He and his wife, Donna, are
members of Temple Baptist Church in Manchester, TN. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Cutshaw.
Mr. Cutshaw is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Donna Jewel
Thornbury Cutshaw; son, Mark (Cheryl) Cutshaw; daughters, Lisa Clark,
Colene Cutshaw (daughter-in-law), Shanda (Joel) Brown; brothers, David
Cutshaw and John Cutshaw; grandchildren, Brandy (Matt) Winson, Joshua (Ali)
Clark, Courtney (Geoff) Bowen, Jason (Carrie) Rigney, Adam (Whitney)
Cutshaw, Andrea Cutshaw, Anjalee Cutshaw, Austin Cutshaw, Paige Brown, Levi
Brown, and Stone Brown; 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, September 10, 2021, from
12:00 noon until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral
services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00pm with
Pastor Greg Nash and Adam Cutshaw officiating. Burial will follow in

Amanda Brooke Smartt
Amanda Brooke Smartt , 40, of Manchester, TN passed away on September 4, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1981 in Altamont, TN to Sandra Halliday and Ronald Smartt. Ms. Smartt received her L.P.N. license from Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Shelbyville, her Associate Degree of Business from Motlow Community College, and eventually earned an Associates of Nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. After beginning a career in nursing, she would ultimately work for Fresenius Kidney Care as Regional Operations Market Manager serving the Tennessee and Alabama region. It was on this path that Ms. Smartt found her calling and would go onto better the lives of so many patients in need of care. First and foremost, she loved her family, but also enjoyed weekends at the beach, traveling, reading, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with friends. She will be missed by her mother, Sandra Walden Halliday (Jerry); father, Ronald Smartt; son, Wade Alexander Swearington; daughter, Madison Hope Smartt; a grandson due in November, Bentley Noah Clark; two brothers, Jody Brian Walden, and Jason Smartt; one sister, Jamie Smartt; one step-sister, Kerri Mosier (Scott); her fiancé, Armon Means; life-long friend, Holli Avans; very close friend Trinae Lashley. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Gladys Walden, and Thomas and Joyce Smartt; one uncle, Jeff Walden; and one sister Jessica Smartt. Visitation for Ms. Smartt will be held on Saturday, September 11th from 12:00-2:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home with a memorial service to immediately follow. Jewel Bartlett Wheeler
Wheeler, Jewel Bartlett , of Hillsboro, passed this life on Wednesday, September 1 st , 2021 at McArthur Manor in Manchester at the age of 79. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Shelbyville to the late Ernest and Ellen Ruth Freeman Bartlett. During her life she worked until her retirement as a Vender Stocker at the Commissary at Arnold Airforce Base. Mrs. Wheeler was also of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Johnny Wheeler; and three brothers, Douglas Bartlett, Ernest Bartlett Jr., and Billy Bartlett. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Jeff) Guess of Estill Springs and Lisa Wheeler of Hillsboro; one granddaughter, Jessica Guess of Estill Springs; one grandson, Hayden Scott of Hillsboro; and one sister, Betty Moore. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7 th , 2021 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11:00am-2:00pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 2:00pm with Ben Eschenfelder officiating. Amy Jeanette Carr Malone
Mrs. Amy Jeanette Carr Malone, age 48, of
Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in
Nashville, TN. Mrs. Malone was born on Woodbury, TN, to her mother Donna
Jean Wilson Daniel and late father Raymond Pat Carr. Mrs. Malone enjoyed
many things in life, such as quilting, drawing, bass fishing, photography,
crafting, and canning and gardening. She put everyone else before herself
and was the most selfless person you’d ever meet. Mrs. Malone always loved
to cook and feed everyone. She also loved spending time with her grandkids
and family very much. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death
by step-father, Dale Daniel; grandparents, Lena and Howard Carr, Mary Pearl
Wilson. Mrs. Malone is survived by her husband, Brent Malone; mother, Donna
Daniel; daughters, Nikki Malone and Kayce Malone; son, Chris Malone;
sisters, Pam Vaughn and Ali Carr; grandchildren, Jakhi McCathern, Kyran
McCathern, Kylo McCathern, Jacob Ross, Corbin Ross, Leah Ross, Zander
McLaughlin; nieces, Lyterra and Josie Vaughn; nephews, Tylor and Lane

Linda Jean Johnson
Mrs. Linda Jean Johnson, age 55, of Hillsboro, TN,
passed from this life on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Lebanon, TN.
Mrs. Johnson was born in McMinnville, TN, to her late parents Amon
McCormick Jr. and Dorothy Perry McCormick. She absolutely adored her grand
dogs Mollie, Percocet, Hyperion, and Ambrose. Mrs. Johnson was also a
Nashville Predators fan. She was a loving mother and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary
Wayne Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by daughters, Angel (Dylan Nagel) Johnson and
Hayley Johnson; brother, Amon Chip McCormick; sister, Nancy Briley; and her
beloved grand dogs.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021,
from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral
services will be conducted on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 1:00pm from
the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. Martin Bowlin officiating.

Glenda Darlene Tuck Reed
Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Darlene Tuck Reed, age 58 of Manchester, will be conducted at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the funeral home. Mrs. Reed passed from this life on Friday, September 3, 2021, at St. Thomas – West in Nashville, TN.
Glenda was born in Manchester on July 26, 1963, the daughter of James and Novella Tuck. She was a teacher for many years before becoming a cook. She was a loving and devoted grandmother who loved to play with her grandchildren. Glenda enjoyed crocheting and making baby quilts. During the summer she was always at the ballfields watching or coaching her daughter in softball. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Glenda is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Tuck; grandson, Riley Tuck; brothers, Elmer Swann and Russell Tuck; sister, Sandra Gail Swann. She is survived by her parents, James and Novella Tuck; beloved husband of 4 years, Tim Reed; sons, Casey Reed (Amanda), Curtis Reed, and Harley Tuck; daughters, Marie Reed, Katie Tuck, and Samantha “Sassy” Anderson; brothers, Donnie Tuck and Eric Swann; sisters, Elaine Raby (Jimmy), Shirley Sellers (Terry), and Crystal Rinderknecht (David); ten grandchildren.

Mary Louise Earls Hennessee
Mrs. Mary Louise Earls Hennessee, age 90, of
Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Friday, September 3, 2021, in
Manchester, TN.
Mrs. Hennessee was born in Warren Co., TN, to her late parents Hobert and
Nannie Earls. She worked at Unity Medical Center for 30 years for the
dietary department and attended Mercy Baptist Church. Mrs. Hennessee loved
playing cards, especially Rook, loved doing puzzles and going to yard
sales. She was a loving a giving person and will be deeply missed by her
family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by husband, Bernice Eugene Hennessee; grandsons, Charles Harmon and Quinton
Elkins; sons, Billy Eugene Hennessee and Charles “Chuck” Hennessee.
Mrs. Hennessee is survived by daughters, Ruth Cantrell, Patricia (Clifton)
Harmon, Linda (Steve) Hollis, and Helen Carroll; brother, Jack Earls; 22
grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; several extended family.

Harlan Eugene Helton Sr
Harlan Eugene Helton Sr., age 71, of Shelbyville, passed this life Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born October 24, 1949 in Lynchburg, TN to the late Johnnie Shields and Musa Ray Helton. He is also preceded in death by his son, Johnny Helton and brother, Bobby Ray. Eugene enjoyed life to the fullest, spending time fishing, farming and attending auctions. He loved his dogs, Bud and Patches and never met a stranger. Eugene retired from Tullahoma Walmart where he enjoyed spending time talking with co-workers and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7th at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, Sept. 8th in the chapel with Brother Bobby McBee officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Eugene is survived by his son, Harlan E. Helton Jr.; grandchildren, Kinsley Stubblefield, Hannah Crabtree and Haley Crabtree; two great grandchildren, sisters, Opal Fuller (Bobby) and Linda Sue Brandon (Monroe); Aunt, Dixie Helton Sutton; special niece Susan Sons who loved him very much; special great niece and nephew, Brandy and Brandon Bateman; special friends, Scott and Amy Leggio and Mr. D; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
