8/18/14 —- Dorothy Lucille Jones
Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Jones, age 88, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday evening, August 15, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born in McMinnville, TN., and was the daughter of the late Willie and Sammie Travis O’Neal.
Mrs. Jones loved her children and grandchildren and was a member of Grundy Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother and sister in law Lawrence and Ellawene O’Neal and sisters Willette and Flora Freeze.
She is survived by a son Alan (Carmen) Jones, daughter Loraine (Randy) Stover, both of Murfreesboro, TN., sister Mary Campbell of Tullahoma, grandchildren Troy Sanders, Steven (Corrie) Sanders, Justin Jones, Alana Jones, and Jeremy (Sonja) Stover, and great grandson Everett.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 18, 2014, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home, with Jeremy Stover officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

8/21/14 — Horace Chester Stubblefield
Mr. Horace Chester Stubblefield of Tullahoma, passed away Friday August 15, 2014 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.
A native of Franklin County, Tn. he was a son of the late Arthur and Dellia Steele Stubblefield.
He was a retired bus driver and attended New Life Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Joseph Stubblefield.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Gifford Stubblefield of Tullahoma, daughters; Mary Russell of Winchester, TN and Cassandra Stubblefield of Symrna, TN, step son, James Hice of Tullahoma; brother, Marlin Stubblefield of Athens, AL, grandchildren; Amanda Crawford and Jessica Stubblefield, great-grandchildren, Isbella Crawford, Caleb Crawford, Madison Crawford and Joseph Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 21, 2014 from 5-7 PM with a Memorial Service at 7 PM with Bro. Troy Deaton officiating.

8/20/14 —- Mary D. Henry
Mary D. Henry, passed away on August 16, 2014, at the age of 89. Mary D. was born August 4, 1925 in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
She attended Marshall County Schools, graduating high school in three years as valedictorian. While in high school, she studied piano, organ, voice and expression, and won the Latin cup in a state wide tournament for Latin studies. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in French and Spanish from Brenau College, Gainesville, Georgia, with one of the highest grade point averages in the history of Brenau. While at Brenau she was the President of the Senior Class, and President of her Phi Mu Sorority for two years, and also was President of Sigma Pi Alpha, a language honor sorority. She served as Vice President of the Panhellenic Council, was on the Student Council, the Honor Court, the Executive Council, the Student Faculty Relations Board, the Yearbook Staff, the Choral Club, the Cotillion Club, and was elected Maid of May in the May Festival. Mary D. was elected by her peers and the faculty to Who’s Who among Students at American University and Colleges, and she attended summer school at Vanderbilt University. Following graduation she served for two years as traveling field secretary for Phi Mu Sorority and she studied Spanish at Middlebury College in Vermont.
She married James H. Henry Sr. on June 30, 1949 and taught Spanish at Cumberland University, while her husband obtained his law degree from Cumberland Law School. In June 1950, she moved to Tullahoma with Jim Henry Sr., where he established the Henry & McCord law firm with John McCord. During this time, she taught both French and Spanish at Tullahoma High School, and later taught Spanish at Motlow College.
She was active in the Methodist Church, where she served as a circle leader for two years, taught Sunday School classes, assumed the Vice-Presidency of the United Methodist Women, and sang in the choir. She took communion to persons in assisted living facilities, even while she lived in an assisted living facility.
She was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution, where she has been a member since 1947. She served as the senior leader for six years of the Tullahoma Chapter of the DAR, the district director for two years, and also served as state historian of DAR for the state of Tennessee for three years. Mary D. was State President of the CAR (Children of the American Revolution) for three years.
She was active in PTA organizations, having served as the President of the PTO at East Lincoln Elementary School, and helped organize and served as first President of Robert E. Lee Elementary School PTO.
She organized Tullahoma Girl Scout Troup 54, and served as its Troop Leader for two years and served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts.
She was a member of the Tullahoma Women’s Club for over 50 years, and a member of a local bridge club of her friends, for over 60 years, and Treasurer of the Tullahoma Library Board. She was a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International.
Predeceasing her were her Father and Mother, Virgil Graydon Miller and Iva Pearl Miller, her brother, Virgil Graydon Miller, Jr., and her husband James H. Henry Sr.
She is survived by three children, Marees (Walker) Choppin, Nashville, Tennessee, Jim (Lisa) Henry II, Tullahoma, Tennessee and Pat (Richard) Poyle, Birmingham, Michigan, and grandchildren and step grandchildren: Katie (Jamie) Davenport, Tullahoma, Tennessee, Will Choppin, Nashville, Tennessee, Brian (Amy) Choppin, Nashville Tennessee, Laura (Scott) Randolph, Pegram, Tennessee, Joshua Hayes, Seattle Washington, Jeremy (Shannon) Hayes, Chickamauga, Georgia, Jessie Hayes, Smyrna, Tennessee, and Erin (Chris) Quiroga, Farmington Hills, Michigan, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren: James Davenport, Penn Hayes, Cohen Hayes, Campbell Hayes, and Pressley Choppin, and several loving caregivers, Lynda, Tammy, Carol, Dottie and Dorris who helped her greatly in her final months.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 19, 2014, with the services at the First United Methodist Church 10:00am Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

8/18/14 —- Hazel R. Haddon
Hazel R. Haddon , age 89, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Estill Springs, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. Anthony Medical Center.
A native of Lynchburg, TN she was born on May 11, 1925 and raised her family in Harvey, IL.
She was employed for several years at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
She is survived by her daughter; Jan (Vincent) Rizzi of Crown Point, IN, son; Frank (Cindy) Haddon of Mokena, IL; and a special niece, Tina Bowen of Griffith, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband; John “Bill” Haddon, daughter; Barbara Haddon, 2 sisters, Christine Watkins and Daris Reese; 2 brothers; Hugh Reese and Willy Reese.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 10 until time of services at 2 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Bender officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery.
8/13/14 ——- Nettie Ann Hargrove
Ms. Nettie Ann Hargrove, age 71, of Tullahoma, TN, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2014, at her residence.
A native Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late Harry K. Massey and Alta McPheron Massey.
Ms. Hargrove loved being mommy to Bella and Boo Bear. She enjoyed gardening, reading, writing, entertaining her family with stories through email, and gem digging adventures. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother in law Bobby Tucker.
She was super mom to many, but lifelong mom to Kim (David) Hammond of Tullahoma, TN., and Tracey (Anthony) Caldwell of Murfreesboro, TN. Other survivors include brother Bobby (Pat) Massey of Symrna, TN., sisters Georgia (David) Fults of Shelbyville, TN., Helen Tucker of Fayetville, NC, grandchildren Matthew Blake Caldwell, Justin Tucker Caldwell, and Peggy Fallon Wortham, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Banquet Room, 2030 North Jackson Street, Tullahoma, TN., 37388.

8/17/14 —– ANNIE E. MOSS
ANNIE E. MOSS, age 82, of Hyattsville, Maryland, departed this life on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Ms. Moss was born in Winchester, Tenn., where she resided until her move to Maryland approximately sixty-two years earlier.
She is survived by her sisters; Pearl Moss of Silver Springs, Maryland and Mildred Cannon of Winchester, Tenn., devoted niece, Cherie Cannon of Greenbelt, Maryland, a host of nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
Visitation for Ms. Moss will be held from 3:00 P.M. until Service time at 4:00 on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Winchester First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Blackwell, officiating.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
8/16/14 —– Robert “Buggy” Lee Pack, Jr.
Mr. Robert “Buggy” Lee Pack, Jr., age 62 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Medical Center of Manchester.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 7 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Bender officiating.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 16, from 4 PM until service time at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Mr. Pack, a native of Franklin County was the son of the late Robert Lee and Katie Louise Stevens Pack.
He was a nursery worker and a member of Hilltop Church of the Nazarene in Bedford County. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, whittling and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, James Edward, Barney Ray, David Daniel and Steven Leon Pack.
Mr. Pack is survived by one son, Elton Lee Pack of Manchester, one brother, Charles Lee Pack and his wife, Rosie of Manchester; three sisters, Patricia Slone and her husband, Jerry of Tullahoma, Isabelle Kirk of McMinnville and Evelyn Warren and her husband, Danny of Fayetteville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

8/16/14 —– Robert Lee “Bob” Grosch
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee “Bob” Grosch, age 87, of Manchester, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Barron officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Grosch passed away on Wednesday, August 13 at Manchester Healthcare.
Mr. Grosch was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late George and Novella Mahathey Grosch.
Bob served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a Master Operating Engineer for ARO/Calspan. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, VFW, and American Legion.
In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Sain Grosch; and one son, Robert Lee “Bobby” Grosch; two sisters, Helen Ogle and Ruby Ely; two brothers, George Grosch, Jr. and Charles Grosch.
He is survived by one son, David (Julee) Grosch of Morrison; one brother, William Grosch of Manchester; five sisters, Thelma Henley of Wayne, MI, Shirley Cain of San Antonio, TX, Frances Smith, Nellie Ortner, and Betty McInturff, all of Manchester; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Beatrice Rust, age 91, of Hillsboro, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ben Day officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Presbyterian Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rust passed away on Monday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Beatrice was born in Grundy Co., TN, the daughter of the late Sam and Jessie Bell Roberts Cunningham.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. She enjoyed canning, gardening, playing the guitar, puzzle books, and working in the garden.
In addition to her parents, Beatrice was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Francis Marion Rust; one daughter, Linda Lokey; and three sisters, Pearl Sherrill, Alene Hodges, and Alice Wagoner. She is survived by one son, Wayne (Joyce) Rust of Shelbyville; four daughters, Jeanette Kirby of Hillsboro, Glenda (George) Hill of Wartrace, Jane (Gary) Carr of Murfreesboro, and Donna Gann of Smithville; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 10 great, great grandchildren.
8/14/14 —- Martha Phinazee Kraft
Martha Phinazee Kraft of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, August 11th, 2014 at Life Care Center at the age of 95.
Mrs. Kraft was born in Forsythe, Georgia to the late John E. and Frances Rumble Phinazee Sr.
Mrs. Kraft was a retired registered nurse and a former employee at Snoddy-Galbraith Clinic and Harton Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Vol State Winnies Camping Club.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roger Kraft Sr.
Mrs. Kraft is survived by one son, Roger Kraft Jr. and his wife Judy of Manchester; one brother, J.E. “Bill” Phinazee and his wife Maxine of Buford, Georgia; two granchildren, J.P. Kraft and his wife Ashley of Manchester, and Rachel Grosch and her husband Nathan of Murfreesboro; two nieces, Kim and Kathy; and two great nieces, Mallory and Erin.
Visitation for Mrs. Kraft will be held on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 1:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Purdue officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
