9/15/14 —– Billy Wayne Baker
Mr. Billy Wayne Baker, age 77, of Tullahoma, TN., passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma.
Born in Moore County, TN., and a native of Tullahoma, TN., he was the son of Rudolph and Ada Mae Brown Baker of Tullahoma.
He was a member of Cedar Lane Church of Christ and was retired from Shelbyville Water, Power, and Electric. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, working on his farm, and in earlier years he enjoyed hunting. Mr. Baker loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his son Richard Baker, three brothers Barney, Clarence, and Tom Baker, and sister Joan Baker.
Mr. Baker had been a resident at Life Care Center of Tullahoma for the past 16 months. During this time the nurses and other residents had become a second family to him and Life Care had become his home. The family wishes to thank all of the nurses and staff at Life Care for their genuine love and care for Mr. Baker during his illness.
He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Baker, one son Steven (Beth) Baker, one daughter Gina Baker (Lacey), all of Tullahoma, TN., grandchildren Ragan and Laura Baker of Tullahoma, TN., Nicole Baker of Knoxville, and Allen and Mekeesha Matherley of Chattanooga, TN.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 15, 2014 from 1 PM until 3 PM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will begin at 3 PM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Minister Steve Matherley and Brother Pat Allison officiating.
Burial will follow at Lois Cemetery in Moore County, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 201 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN. 37388.

9/16/14 —– Daniel Ray Ferrell
Funeral services for Daniel Ray Ferrell, age 50 of Manchester will be conducted at 2 pm, Tuesday, September 16 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gilley Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10am until service time Tuesday at Manchester Funeral Home.
Mr. Ferrell passed this life Friday evening at the United Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Ferrell was born in Manchester, Tennessee the son of William Harold Ferrell and the late Jennie Thelma Cawthorn Ferrell.
He was a former employee of Volunteer Engineering and attended the Mt. View Church of Christ. Mr. Ferrell loved sports and especially baseball.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Ferrell.

9/12/14 —– LUCILE FORD OWEN
LUCILE FORD OWEN, age 91, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life at her residence on Friday, September 12, 2014, following an extended illness.
Ms. Lucile was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Aug. 22, 1923 to the late Everet and Letha Warren Ford.
She was a member of the Estill Springs First Baptist Church for many years. Ms. Owen was a homemaker most of her life. She was a former member of the Estill Springs Lions Club and a former Estill Springs City Alderwoman.
Ms. Owen was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Owen and son, Marc Owen. She is survived by her son, Bob (Linda) Owen of Estill Springs, Tenn., Grandchildren; Phillip (Danielle) Owen of Oviedo, Fla., Dawn Owen of Fayetteville, N.C., Bobi Winstead of D’Iberville, Miss., Jennifer Mannion and Marla Pippin both Gulf Port, Fla., 1 Great-grandson, Michael Ford Owen and 10 additional great-grandchildren.
It was Ms. Owen’s wishes that she be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
9/13/14 ——– Myrtle Odell Pitts
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Odell Pitts, age 86, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Niles and Bro. Louis Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Blanton Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home.
Odell was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late James Monroe and Becky Lou Hickerson Farrar.
She was a seamstress at Eden Industries and a member of Blanton’s Chapel Methodist Church. She enjoyed cleaning and loved animals, especially raising goats, loved listening to old gospel music, and “keeping her siblings straight.”
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pitts was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, George “Bill” Pitts, Jr.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eldon (Bea) and Horace (Edith) Farrar; one sister and brother-in-law, Eva (Jess) Toms; and one brother-in-law, Earl Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Katherine Smith; nieces, Carol Benson, Helen Darden, Connie Hill, Kathy Esslinger, Christy Swanson, Lori (Mark) Shelton, and Ellen Kay Nelson; nephews, Kerry (Ginny) Farrar, Mark (Ellen) Farrar, and Royce Toms; several great nieces and nephews; and several great, great nieces and nephews.
9/8/14 —— Bruce Robert Causon
Bruce Robert Causon of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, September 8th, 2014 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 62.
Mr. Causon was born in Cheltenham, England to the late William Causon and Betty Barsellotti Causon who survives.
During his life he served in the British Navy and later went on to work as an engineer for Cubic Precision.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Causon is survived by his wife Pauline Causon of Tullahoma; one daughter, Ashley Causon of New York City; one son, Andrew Causon of Sydney, Australia; four sisters, Ann Hasting, Jane Bailey, Lizz Nicholson, and Wendy Childs; and two brothers, William and Brian Causon.

9/11/14 —– John T. Hollingworth
Funeral services for Mr. John T. Hollingworth, age 75, of Hillsboro, TN will be conducted Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Jared officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:30 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Hollingworth passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma, TN.
He was born January 12, 1939 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of the late Neale Ambrose Hollingworth and Margaret Jesson Hollingworth.
He was a United States Air Force veteran having joined the service June 10, 1957 and was honorably discharged June 9, 1961. He met and married the love of his life, Jean Morrison Hollingworth and the two started their life and family together. In 1977, the family moved to Manchester, Tennessee from Painesville, Ohio. In 1979, John went to work as a Outside Machinist for Svdrup. He retired in 1999 after twenty years of service. John had a passion for antique cars all his life and beginning in 1964 he kept meticulous records of restoring his beloved 1956 F150 Ford. Over the years, he enjoyed attending and showing his prized Ford, winning several trophies along the way. He was a member of Dixieland Street Rod Club, where he also enjoyed the fellowship with the other street rod enthusiasts. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jim Hollingworth.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Hollingworth of Hillsboro, TN; three children, Ricky Hollingworth; Sharon Wilcox both of Hillsboro, TN and Donna Hollingworth Jackson of Lynchburg, TN; three grandchildren, Racheal Gray-Coulter; Danielle Jackson and Chase Jackson and one great-grandchild, Bryson Gray.

9/12/14 —— Tressie Eugenia (Jean) Sanders
Tressie Eugenia (Jean) Sanders, 95, of Tullahoma passed this life, September 8, 2014 at Bailey Manor, Manchester, TN.
Mrs. Sanders was born October 27, 1918 in Laurens County, GA and was the wife of the late Frank Miller Sanders, daughter of Ernest Albert Thornburg and Alice Naomi Bracewell Thornburg.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Asquith Alton Thornburg, Alice Modesta Price, and Judson Harmon Thornburg.
Survivors include her daughter; Marie S. Reynolds (Steve) and son; Ernest B. Sanders (Betty) of Tullahoma. She had five grandchildren; Rhonda Lovato (David) of Montclair, VA, Craig Givens (Anna) of Finksburg, MD, Brad Sanders (Kelly) of Tullahoma, Chad Sanders of West Hollywood, CA, and Missy Sanders (Tripp Shellnut) of Ringgold, GA. Five great-grandchildren: Mary Rice (Chris), Garrett and Audrey Sanders, Silas and Aaron Givens and two great-great grandchildren, Grace and Aiden Rice.
Funeral services will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. Herb Hester officiating.
Interment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Lee Duke Trail, age 87, of Manchester, will
be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Manchester

Burial will follow in Gnat Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral

Mrs. Trail passed away Monday morning at McArthur Manor in Manchester.
Mrs. Trail was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late James D.
and Margaret Stacey Duke.
She was a seamstress at Eden Industries and also worked at Star Union, PCA, and Genesco.
She was an active member of Goose Pond United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Nora was also preceded in death by six brothers
and sisters, Eula Lewis, Willie Duke, Jesse Duke, Elvin Duke, Horace Duke,
and Ola Duke; one daughter-in-law, Marzelle Trail; and one grandchild,
Jeremy Wayne Trail. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years,
Howard E. Trail of Manchester; three sons, Randall Trail of Albany, GA, Joel
(Glenda) Trail of the Noah Community; and Steve (Lisa) Trail of the Gnat
Hill Community; three grandchildren, Shawn (Carla) Trail of Manchester,
Tiffany (Kraig) Feathers of Murfreesboro, and Brandon (Ashley) Trail of Fort
Myers, FL; and seven great grandchildren, Brayden, Dylen, Cayden, Carter,
and Emery Trail and Taylor and Rylan Feathers.

Graveside services for Mr. James Frank Tucker, age 63, of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at New Brick Church Cemetery in Franklin County, with Bro. Joe Pedigo and Bro. Bill Williams officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, when the procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery.
Mr. Tucker passed away Sunday morning at his residence.
Mr. Tucker was born in Franklin County, TN, the son of the late Johnnie and Lottie Osborne Tucker.
He was retired from the U.S. Army and also retired from PCA. He also worked at Tullahoma Industries. Frank was a “Jack of all trades” and enjoyed fishing, woodwork, yardwork, photography, and watching the Tennessee Titans.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Bill Tucker and one sister, Fay Banks. He is survived by two sons, James David (fiancé Alisha Osborne) Tucker and James Johnathan Tucker, both of Manchester; four sisters, Margie Ruth Medley and Joyce Randolph, both of Estill Springs, Mary Foster of Manchester, and Betty Wimberly of Frostproof, FL; and one grandchild, Brenda Lilian Hope Tucker.

Tracy Lyn Tankersley, infant daughter of Mike and Lyn Tankersley, passed this life on Sunday, September 7th, 2014.
In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by her grandparents, Doris Tankersley of Tullahoma, and Purita and Antonio Ponce of Rical, Phillipines; and Aunt, Lendy Consemiu of Tullahoma.
Visitation for Tracy will be held on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home with the funeral to immediately follow at 1:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Scales officiating.
