3/15/15 —– Mary Clark Armstrong Stone
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Clark Armstrong Stone, age 91, of Hillsboro, will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joel Davenport officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stone passed away Tuesday, March 10 at her residence.
Mary was born in Manchester, the daughter of the late William Clark and Maude Mae Jones Armstrong.
She was a post office clerk for Camp Forrest and enjoyed flower gardening/landscaping, fishing, oil painting, as well as geology.
In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William Richard “Dick” Stone; one brother, Robert Edgar Armstrong; sisters, Willie Mae Medley, Evelyn Irene Spears, and Faye Marie Cooper; and her son-in-law, William Alan Bryan.
She is survived by one son, Richard Michael (Dee) Stone of Manchester; one daughter, Pamela Ann Bryan of Hillsboro; one brother, Charles Lyndel Armstrong; one sister, Pauline Armstrong Hayward; grandchildren, Carissa Stone-Wheeler and her husband, James, Renee Bryan, Vanessa (William) Guerrette, and Christopher Bryan; great grandchildren, Xavier Wheeler, William Guerrette, IV, and Philip Guerrette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
3/11/15 —- John C. Bass
John C. Bass, age 29, of Huntsville, Alabama and former Manchester, TN resident, passed away on March 9, 2015 resulting from a vehicular accident.
John was an operator in the construction business.
He was preceded in death by Dennis Murry, Sr.
He was born in Huntsville, Alabama to his parents, John Thomas Bass of Toney, AL and Kelly Jo Murry Bass of Manchester, TN who survive.
He is also survived by his spouse, Stephanie Lynne Bass of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Alyssia N. Bass of Huntsville, AL; sister, Ashley Ramsey (Anthony) of Manchester, TN; grandparents, Carol Murry and Bill Murry of Manchester, TN; niece, Felicity N. Ramsey; cousins, Madison Murry, Dennis Murry, Jr., Jessi Murry, Joshua Morgan and Nathaniel Morgan; aunt, Connie Morgan of Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.

3/11/15 — Robert W. “Bobby” Brown Jr.
Robert W. “Bobby” Brown Jr., age 59 of Wartrace, Tennessee passed away, Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 11 at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 11 from 11 AM until the service time at 2 PM. Mr. Brown, a native of Coffee County, was the son of the late Robert W. and Elwyn Byrom Brown Sr. He enjoyed watching wrestling matches, fishing and playing cards. He is survived by his girlfriend, Rose Marie Tripe of Wartrace; daughter, Mary Jean Phillips and her husband, Dale of Shelbyville; brother, Mark Brown of Wartrace; sister, Sandy Holloway and her husband, Harold of Tullahoma; five grandchildren, Parsha, Tasha, Virginia, Amber and Angel Phillips, all of Shelbyville; five nieces, Tonya Villegas and her husband, Juan of Normandy, Tammy Ibarra of Winchester, Savannah Brown, Angela Pendergraff and Misty Sheffield and her husband, Travis, all of Tullahoma; four nephews, Oddie Brown and his wife, Fraya of Wartrace, Robert Brown, Shane Holloway and his wife, Ambre, and Nick Holloway and his wife, Mindy, all of Tullahoma and many great nieces, great nephews and friends. 3/11/15 —- David Larry Lusk
Mr. David Larry Lusk, age 56 of Manchester, Tennessee passed from this life of Sunday, March 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Lusk was preceded in death by his parents, T.H. Lusk and Judy Lusk.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Mona Lesa Lusk, two sons, David Lee Lusk of Manchester, Tennessee, James Hamilton Lusk and wife Hollie of Hillsboro, Tennessee, and one grandson, Rickey Lee Lusk, two sisters, Deborah Lusk of Manchester, Tennessee, Carla Doak of Manchester, Tennessee, one brother, Mike Doak of Manchester, Tennessee two nieces, Brittany Howell and husband Brett of Manchester, Tennessee, Renee Seals Hancock and Family, two nephews, Brian Matlock of Manchester, Tennessee, Randy Seals and Family, Marie “Aunt Pip” and Earl “Uncle Jr.” Jernigan and several cousins also survive.
Mr. Lusk was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He was employed at Batesville Casket Company for thirty-six years. He was an avid golfer and a diehard Tennessee Vols football fan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an outdoorsman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services for Mr. David Larry Lusk will be conducted on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Doyle Sherrill officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery, Coffee County Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel, Manchester, Tennessee.

3/11/15 —- BOBBY JOE CLARK
BOBBY JOE CLARK, age 63, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Medical Center of Manchester.
Bobby was born on January 28, 1952 in Decatur, AL to the late Charles and Irene McConnell Clark.
He was of the Pentecostal faith. Bobby had a love for art. He enjoyed sketching and painting.
Bobby is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Connie Clark of Tullahoma, Tenn., son, Bobby Charles Clark of Tullahoma, daughter, Rose Clark of Winchester, Tenn., brothers; Willie Luna of Lynchburg, Tenn., Frankie Luna of Decatur, AL and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 12:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Grant Funeral Services.
Funeral services will also be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of grant Funeral Services with Pastor John Parton, officiating.
Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma, Tenn.

3/10/15 —- Helen M. Ford
Mrs. Helen M Ford, age 90 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 10 at 2 PM at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Stephen Klasek officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 9 from 5 – 8 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service at 7 PM.
Mrs. Ford, a native of Limestone County, AL, was the daughter of the late E C and Byrd Stanford McClung.
She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In earlier years, she worked as a bottler at George A. Dickel. She also sold Avon and Stanley products. Mrs. Ford enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing bingo and going to Tunica. She was an avid Atlanta Braves and UT Football fan. She loved children and enjoyed when her grandchildren and great grandchildren would come and stay with her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, George James Ford; two brothers, Estill and Darvis McClung and two sisters, Adele Colyar and Elizabeth Johns.
Mrs. Ford is survived by three children, George Glenn Ford and his wife, Terri of Antioch, Joe Ford and his wife, Jean Marie of Tullahoma and Helene Jennings and her husband, Dennis of Tullahoma; one sister, Barbara Jean Monday Lusk of Tullahoma; eight grandchildren, Melissa Gebhart of Las Vegas, NV, Rian Hollister and his wife, Mandy of Lousiville, KY, Mary Kayte Murphy and her husband, Vin of Tampa, FL, Paula Statum and her husband, John of Tullahoma, Brandie Hicks and her husband, Jamie of Tullahoma, J. Ford and his wife, Ashley of Richmond, VA; David Ford of Tullahoma and Farrar Jean Ford of Tullahoma; eleven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews and friends.
3/10/15 —- Joyce Johnson Hice
Joyce Marie Johnson Hice, 80, affectionately known as Mama Joyce, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 8, 1934 in Tullahoma to the late Daniel S. and Lula Clayton Thomas Johnson.
Joyce was a devoted Christian lady, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and church mother. She had a deep abiding faith in God and her Savior and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. She attended Tullahoma City Schools, was Secretary-Treasurer of the Bethany Good Neighbors Club for many years, and was a charter member of the Marble Plains Baptist Church in Winchester where she served the Lord as its pianist and organist.
She is survived by her loving husband, Pastor Jack Hice; 3 sons, Joel (Betty) of Morristown, TN, Steven (Kathy) of Tullahoma, Jeff (Debbie) of Murfreesboro; 2 daughters Jackie Johnson of Tullahoma and Jill (Danny) Cobb of Winchester; one brother Daniel S. Johnson, Jr. (Linda) of Modesto, CA; one sister Peggy Teague of Tullahoma; and eight grandchildren Jason, Audrey, Julie, Aaron, Alan, Josh, Jordan and Brooke. She also is survived by several great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Hice will be held on Monday, March 9th, 2015 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 pm, with funeral services being held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Marble Plains Cemetery in Franklin County with Bro. David Wall and Bro. Ray Gardner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Marble Plains Cemetery Fund, Bethany Cemetery Fund, Gideons International or any charity of choice.
3/9/15 —– RALPH ADAM SIMS
RALPH ADAM SIMS, age 50, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems of Winchester.
He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.
Ralph enjoyed fishing and landscaping.
Ralph is proceeded in death by his parents, Warnie and Almie Sims.
He is survived by his daughters; Renee Sims(Charlie) of Decherd and Amanda Sims(Richard) also of Decherd, special companion; Stephanie Gee of Decherd, stepson; Daniel Prince of Decherd and stepdaughter; Courtney Gee of Decherd, brothers; Bobby Sims and his wife, MaryAnn of Winchester, Ricky Sims and his wife Sherry of Belvidere, sisters; Marie Stephens of Belvidere, Betty Clark of Winchester, Wilma Nicoles of Winchester and Tammy Sims of Belvidere, granddaughter; Caylin Sims of Decherd, expecting a grandson; Charles Adam Bohanan and former wife, Darlene Sims of Decherd.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Grant Funeral Services from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from the chapel of Grant Funeral Services at 3:00 P.M. with Daniel Prince, eulogist.
Interment will follow at Green Cemetery in Belvidere with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
3/7/15 —– Judith Holliday Hamilton
Mrs. Judith Holliday Hamilton age 79 of Monteagle passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Life Care Center in Tullahoma.
She was retired from the Tennessee Department of Safety .
She was preceded in death by her parents, LaDue and Evelyn McCurdy Holliday; husband, Clyde Paul Hamilton; a daughter, Jennifer Clay Hutchison.
Survivors include her children, Susan Clay Johnson, Monteagle, Beth Geary, Monteagle, Frank Charles “Skip” Clay, Monteagle, Roxanne Gipson, Winchester; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until time of service.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
2/7/15 —– Billy Joe Williamson
Billy Joe Williamson, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 at his residence at the age of 81.
Mr. Williamson was born in Heflin, Alabama to the late John Vernon and Emma D. Morse Williamson.
During his life, Mr. Williamson served his country in the United States Air Force during Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1975. After his retirement from the military, he went on to become the owner of Williamson Coffee. Mr. Williamson was a member and deacon of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church, as well as a former Mason and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Bernice Williamson of Tullahoma; one son, Barry Williamson and his wife Lita of Tullahoma; one daughter, Sheila Banks and her husband Ross of Manchester; four grandchildren, Michael Williamson and his wife Amanda of Lynchburg, Michelle Andrade and her husband Jeff of Vacaville, California, Jennifer Reagon and her husband Joe of Alcoa, Tennessee, and Jason Banks and his wife Jolee; and six great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacob, and Mason Andrade, Coulton Williamson, Liam Reagon, and Nathaniel and Jonathan Banks.
Visitation for Mr. Williamson will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 from 1:00-4:00 pm with the funeral service to immediately follow at 4:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Morris officiating.
