6/25/15 —- Patsy A. Barber
Patsy A. Barber, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed this life on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Nashville at the age of 69.
Mrs. Barber was born in Tullahoma to the late Lansden and Connie Carr Allred.
While still living in Tullahoma, she attended of New Center Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barber is preceded in death by one grandson, Colton Weaver.
She is survived by her husband, James Barber of Antioch, Tennessee; one son, Ronnie Barber and his wife Lisa of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Teresa Weaver and her husband Richard of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Tyler Barber, Jessica Barber, Colby Weaver, Rod Adkins and his wife Ashley, Ashley Adkins Cook and her husband Rich; Clifford “Rock” Clark whom she thought of as a son, along with his wife Terri, and their son Cody; and Katrina Castaldo, whom she thought of as a daughter, along with her husband Thomas and their daughter Gianna.
Visitation for Mrs. Barber will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Pittenger and Rock Clark officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.

6/24/15 —- Erskine C. “Clay” Sanders
Erskine C. “Clay” Sanders, age 87 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on June 20, 2015 at the Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Erskine and Mary Sanders and son, Terry Sanders.
Mr. Sanders Is survived by his wife, Naomi Gold Sanders of Manchester, Tennessee; daughter, Debby Lawson and her husband Ron of Michigan; brother, Jack Sanders of Birmingham, Alabama; two sisters, Frances Winton of Athens, Michigan and Beatrice Apple of Tullahoma, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Jesse and Terry; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation, Tuesday June 23, 2015 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Central Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Wright officiating.

6/22/15 — BILLY RAY BRADFORD
BILLY RAY BRADFORD, age 80 of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma, Tenn.
Mr. Bradford was born in Franklin County, Tenn. to the late Louie and Katie Mines Bradford.
He was a carpenter and did residential construction before his retirement.
He was a member of the New Center Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Bradford was a farmer. He loved hunting, fishing, and going to gospel singings. He was a loving husband, “Amazing father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Wanda Bradford of Estill Springs, TN, daughters; Kim Bradford of Estill Springs, Cheryl (Ronald) Clark of Tullahoma, Pamela (Stanley) Tankersley of Tullahoma, Gina (Jon) Qualls of Lynchburg, brothers; Grady (Pat) Bradford of Morrison, Roy (Glenda) Bradford of Estill Springs, sister, Mary Jane Millsap of Lynchburg, grandchildren; Cody (Katie) Tankersley of Pelham, Brittany (Nick) Christine of Estill Springs, Todd Qualls (Kelsey Crossland) of Lynchburg, Raven (Dylan) Garner of Winchester, Paige (James) Hall of Tullahoma, Jared Qualls of Lynchburg, great-grandchildren; Preston, Ryland, Emmilyn, Raeley, Anzlee, Emily and Allyssa

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 22, 2015 at Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Byron Lawrence, officiating.
Interment will follow in Pennington Cemetery in Winchester.

6/21/15 —- Michael H. Humphries
Michael H. Humphries, age 68 of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away on June 19, 2015.
He was a retired Nuclear Power Plant Inspector and a United States Army Veteran, serving two terms in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star Medal among other awards. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Hillsboro First Baptist Church and the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and flying.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Hyrle Hoover Humphries, Jr. and Nellie Mae Lynch Humphries; sister, Rosemary Jane Wright and brother, John Carroll Humphries.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy B. Humphries-Gault of Manchester, TN; son, Michael Sean Humphries and his wife Michele of Manchester, TN; four grandchildren, Hunter, Dane, Ashley and Chelsea; and a host of other relatives and friends.

6/19/15 —– James Lloyd McMahan
James Lloyd McMahan, age 67 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away, Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.
No services are scheduled.
Mr. McMahan, a native of Coffee County, was the son of the late D B and Nina Mae Caldwell McMahan.
He was a carpenter. He enjoyed working on cars and fixing things. He also enjoyed doing carpentry projects.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin McMahan; two brothers, John and Lavoyd McMahan and one sister, Stella Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Velvie Walden McMahan of Manchester; one daughter, Donna Williams and her partner, Ricky Stem of Manchester; daughter-in-law, Rebecca McMahan of Manchester; three brothers, Claude and Billy McMahan, both of Manchester and David McMahan and his wife, Thelma of Hillsboro; five sisters, Martha Sprinkles, Annie Porter and Ellen Cole, all of Manchester, Dora Lemon of McMinnville and Barbara Ralston of Kansas and two grandchildren, Benjamin and Page McMahan.

Nora Mai Parsons, age 85, passed away on June 16, 2015, with 10 family members by her side.
Nora was born in Huntsville, AL but was raised in Shelbyville, TN where she met and married, Joe L. Parsons. They moved to Tullahoma in 1958 and raised their family on Cook Road aka “the promised land”.
Mrs. Parsons was born December 19, 1929.
She treasured her family and her friends. She made each and every person she encountered feel special. She enjoyed playing games and loved to win. Her garden was full of beautiful flowers. She laughed often and loved much. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ, and she most recently worshipped at Westwood Church of Christ in Tullahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Parsons, her parents, Annie and Oscar Newman, her brother, Virgil Newman, her grandson, Sean Reynolds, and her best friend, Bernice Phillips.
She is survived by her children, Joe (Diane) Parsons of Lakeland, Florida, Barbara (Al) Foster of Mount Juliet and Lori Martin of Nashville. She was a wonderful grandmother to eight grandchildren (Sean, Dustin, Erin, Amanda, Jennifer, Blake, Nikki, and Mya) and five great-grandchildren (Xander, Olivia, Stella, Brooks and Rhys).
The family will be receiving friends Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Tullahoma Funeral Home, 401 Westside Drive, Tullahoma, TN from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday, June 19, 2015 11 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
6/22/15 —– Tanya Dawn Reeves
Tanya Dawn Reeves, age 40, formerly of Tullahoma, passed away, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 22 at 10 AM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 21 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reeves, a native of Tullahoma was the daughter of the late Robert Taylor and the late Debbie Painter Parks.
She was a 1992 graduate of Franklin County High School and enjoyed riding horses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-father, Chris Parks and grandparents, Albert and Dorothy Painter.
She is survived her husband, Michael Reeves of Pelham; daughter, Brooklynn Faith Reeves of Pelham and two other daughters; four brothers, Troy and Jeremy Phillips, both of Tullahoma, Jason Taylor of Manchester and Wesley Parks of Winchester; best friend, Sonya Reeves Davis of Tullahoma and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the memorial fund at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

6/20/15 —– Ruth M. Baskin
Ruth M. Baskin, age 93, the daughter of the late Woodson E. and Carrie W. Mitchell died on June 16, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Horace G. Baskin; brothers, James Woodson, Dan Dixon Mitchell and a sister, Nancy Louise Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Baskin Miller and her husband Dwight of Fayetteville, NC; a son, John Horace Baskin and his wife Bonny of Manchester, TN; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Mrs. Baskin lived in the Christiana Community of Rutherford County as a girl and was a graduate of David Lipscomb University. She later graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Library Science. She went on to organize and manage the media center at McFadden Elementary School in Murfreesboro until her retirement.
She was a lifelong Christian and had been a member of the Minerva Drive Church of Christ in Murfreesboro and the Main Street Church of Christ in Manchester. She enjoyed the many opportunities to teach the Bible to those around her.
The family wants to thank Sue Barnes and Rosalind Ivie for the loving and excellent care they have given her in years past and their continuing friendship.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Herbert Alsup will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery and family will serve as pallbearers.

6/20/15 —- Oma Jean Crabtree
Oma Jean Crabtree, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 86.
Mrs. Crabtree was born in Tullahoma to the late Odis and Willie A. Foster Brown.
She was of the Baptist faith and during her life worked at Taylor’s Leatherwear and PCA in Manchester.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crabtree is preceded in death by her husband, James Crabtree; one daughter, Janice Ward; one sister, Jearlean Shelton; three brothers, Billy Joe Brown, Eddie Brown, and Danny Brown.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Nelson of Tullahoma, and Brenda Carter and her husband Eddie of Tullahoma; two sisters, Joyce Lendley and her husband Joe of Tullahoma, and Patsy Hartley and her husband Howard of Tullahoma; four grandchildren, Jonathan Ward, Phillip Nelson, Courtney Casteel and her husband Jason, and Carmen Holt and her husband Adam; and four great-grandchildren, Cade, Becca, Aiden, and Autumn.
Visitation for Mrs. Crabtree will be held on Friday, June 19th, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
