Roy Dale Simmons

funeral flowerMr. Roy Dale Simmons, age 63, of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday,
October 14, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. Memorial
services will be held at a later date at Simmons Cemetery.

Mr. Simmons was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late William
Horace and Roberta Louise Williams Simmons. He was a truck driver for R.B.
Brandon Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping,
collecting knives, and being a jokester.

In addition to his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by two brothers,
Wilbur Earl and Robert William Simmons. He is survived by two sons, John
David Whetsel and Josh Jamison; one daughter, Jessica (Larry) Rollins of
Tullahoma; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Bowers of Manchester and Reba Sue
Brown of Tullahoma; several grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.

Tami-Pate-1444843625, age 53 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 16 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from 5 – 8 PM.
Mrs. Pate, a native of Shelbyville was the daughter of the late Don Lehew and Margaret Stafford Lehew of Tullahoma. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and working word find puzzles.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Graham Pate.
Mrs. Pate is survived by her mother, Margaret Lehew of Tullahoma; one son, Dustin Pate and his wife, Brittany of Decherd; two daughters, Loriann Dodson and her husband, George of Tullahoma and Tabitha Dodson and her husband, David of Tullahoma and six grandchildren plus one on the way.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the fund at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

streetHoward “Papa” G. Street., age 92 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away,
Wednesday, October 13, 2015 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 17 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Eddie Canady officiating. Burial will follow
at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October
16 from 5 PM till 9 PM.

Mr. Street, a native of Franklin County, TN was the son of the late Will
and Annie Elizabeth Weaver Street. He had worked for Riddle Trucking in
Manchester for over 58 years and was still working full time as a
dispatcher and loader. He was a WW II U S Army veteran. He was a member of
the Heritage Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren
and great grandchildren and always enjoyed a good meal.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary
Naomi Street; three brothers, Carl, Lloyd and James Street and one
grandson, Randall Street, Jr.

Mr. Street is survived by one son, Randall Street and his wife, Sharion of
Hillsboro; one granddaughter, Donna Prince and her husband, Jason of
Decherd and two great grandchildren, Demetria and Daylen Prince.

flower 21Louise Babineau., age 63 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Monday,
October 12, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma. Memorial Services
will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Babineau, a native of Grundy County, was the daughter of the late
William Ernest and Veller Green Babineau. She was a loving mother and
grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She
also enjoyed her pets, Sparky and JoJo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Charles L. Babineau III.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Babineau III and his wife Caitlin of
Georgetown, TN and James Wesley Babineau and his wife, Elyssa of Dayton,
TN; life partner, Don Perry of Tullahoma; sister-in-law, Sandra Elkins of
Tullahoma and four grandchildren, Kaylee Jade, Maleena Paige Louise, Julie
Anna Renae and Eden Lorelai Babineau.

flower 16Funeral services for Gary Michael Lovell, age 46 of Manchester will be
conducted at 7:00pm, Thursday, October 15 at the Manchester Funeral Home
Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Visitation with the Lovell
family will be from 3pm until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10am, Friday, October 16 at Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to attend the burial are asked to meet
at the cemetery Friday morning. Gary passed this life Tuesday at St. Thomas
Rutherford in Murfreesboro following a short illness.

Gary was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee the son of the late Jack Lewis Lovell
and Melva Jean Lovell of Manchester who survives. He was a former police
officer and Sergeant with the Manchester Police Department for 16 years and
at the time of his death was the Assistant Distribution Operator with the
Manchester Water Department. Gary’s favorite thing was to work out at the
gym with his friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Jack Lewis
Lovell who died in 2009. His survivors are:

flower 19Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Lee Thomas, age 78 of Hillsboro will be
conducted at 2pm, Saturday, October 17 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel
with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro
Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the Thomas family will be Friday,
October 16 from 5pm until 9pm. Mrs. Thomas passed this life Monday evening
at her home in Hillsboro surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Stevenson, Alabama the daughter of the late Zeb
Pellam and Lizzie Roach Pellam. She was retired from PCA in Manchester and
was a member of the Victor Baptist Church. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed fishing,
gardening and woodworking. In addition to her parents, she was also
preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Gladis Thomas who died in 1991, by two
brothers, Albert “Boo” Pellam and James Todd Pellam, and by a son who died
at birth. Mrs. Thomas is survived by:

One sister- Mrs. Elsie Wimbley and her husband Kenneth of Hillsboro

One granddaughter- Angie Thomas of Hillsboro

10/15/2015 Cheri Ellen Hawk

Hawk, Cheri Ellen, longtime resident of Tullahoma, died Monday, October
12th, 2015 at Bailey Manor in Manchester. Cheri was born in Albertville,
Alabama on November 2nd, 1935. She was the ninth and youngest child of
Charles and Josephine Long. She graduated from Albertville High School
and following her graduation, worked for DuPont Industries in Augusta,
Georgia. She moved to Tullahoma, Tennessee after marrying Glenn Hawk in
January of 1956 and worked for their family-owned business, Hawk
Hardware. Cheri retired from Hawk Hardware in 1986. A member of First
Christian Church, she enjoyed participating in service circles and
singing in the choir. An avid devotee of the arts, Cheri appreciated a
good book, classic style, a well maintained garden, and keeping a lovely
home. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Hawk; daughter Sandy Klonaris
and her husband Kim; granddaughter, Laura Beth and her husband Matthew;
and great-granddaughter, Madeline. Visitation will be held on Thursday,
October 15th, 2015 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm.

10/15/15 — Wanda Lohorn Johnson

johnsonWanda Lohorn Johnson, age 78 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Friday,
October 9, 2015. Graveside Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 15
at 11 AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Estill Springs.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Hopkinsville, KY was the daughter of the late
William Darryl and Nettie Mae Hall Lohorn. She was a LPN and had worked at
Harton Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed doing needlework including
cross stitching and embroidery, cooking and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy
Johnson and one brother, William Darryl Lohorn Jr.

She is survived by one brother, Victor Lee Lohorn and his wife, Linda of
Tullahoma; one sister, Lois Ann Stephenson of Texas and several nieces and
nephews.

flower26Ann Wolfe, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, October 11th, 2015
at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 76. Mrs. Wolfe was born
in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Ralph and Mildred Acuff Brooks. She
was a retired Administrative Assistant to the Dean at UTSI and was a
member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma, as well as the Daughters of
the American Revolution. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wolfe is
preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Brooks and Skip Brown. She is
survived by her husband, Jim Wolfe of Tullahoma; one son, Donny Wolfe of
Tullahoma; two daughters, Lisa Reagan and her husband Wade of Maryville,
Tennessee, and Stacey Shipp and her husband Mike of Tullahoma; one
sister, Jean Maynor and her husband Don of Soddy Daisy; and four
grandchildren, Jonathan and Olivia Reagan and Michael and Caroline Shipp.
Visitation for Mrs. Wolfe will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2015
at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11:00am-12:00pm with the funeral to
immediately follow at 12:00pm with Rev. Andy Stallings officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.

10/14/15 — Eugene Joseph Marcel Jr.

tookie“Tookie” Eugene Joseph Marcel Jr. passed this life and went to be with our lord and savior Saturday October 10, 2015. Tookie was born November 6, 1949 in New Orleans, LA and moved to Tennessee in September of 1986. Tookie was loved by so many people and he never met a stranger. He had a big heart for serving and helping others. Tookie loved fishing, camping, his pastor, his church family and sightseeing with his three sister-in-laws Cindy, Eve and Mary. Tookie loved his wife with all his heart.

Tookie was preceded in death by his father Eugene Joseph Marcel Sr. and his mother Mary Louise Marcel; two sisters Catherine Marcel and Evelyn Lirette.

He is survived by his wife Judy Ann Marcel; children Kim (James) Patton of Bronte, TX, Brad (Olivia) Marcel of Tullahoma, TN, Kristie (Mitchell) Shockley of Houma, LA, and Amy (Justin) Gilliam of Tullahoma, TN; grand children Blane and Nicole Smith, Blair and Delany Smith, Blaze Smith, Matthew Marcel, Macy Marcel, Joshua Peck, Vanessa Gilliam, Eric Shockley; great grand children Ava Rose, Ryder James and Tucker Michael; two brothers Gary Marcel and David Marcel and many nieces and nephews

A special thanks to Asera Care Hospice, Lynn Myers and Sharron and Faye Jernigan they were our angels in a time of need God Bless.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday October 13, 2015 at New Life Covenant Ministries. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 1:00pm at New Life Covenant Ministries 813 S. Main St. Estill Springs, TN with the interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
