Garnet F. McLean
Garnet F McLean, 94, a resident of Tullahoma, TN passed away on June 22,
2016 at the Fayetteville Health and Rehab Center. Memorial Services will be
scheduled at a later date.
A native of Lawrenceburg, he was the son of the late Booker and Allean Doss
McLean. Mr. McLean was a U S Army veteran and was a purchasing agent at
AEDC. He was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church and enjoyed
fishing and singing. He also enjoyed watching sporting events on TV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.
Mr. McLean is survived by his wife, Janie Jo McLean of Tullahoma; two sons,
Garnet McLean and his wife, Cynthia of OK and Steve McLean of Antioch and
three grandchildren.

Karen Anita Keller
Karen Anita Keller, 78, a resident of Lynchburg, TN passed away on
Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her residence. No services are scheduled.
Mrs. Keller, a native of Saint Paul, IN, was the daughter of the late Glenn
Raymond and Ester Crosby Taylor. She worked in banking as an auditor. She
enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and completing word searches. She was an
avid reader and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna
Dugan.
She is survived by her husband, James P Keller of Lynchburg; one daughter,
Kelly Perry of Lynchburg; four sons, J Patrick Keller and his wife, Rose
of Atlanta, Kevin Garrison and his fiancé, Jeana of Greenfield, In, Jacob
Perry and his wife, Brandy of Lafayette, IN and Justin Perry of Lafayette,
IN; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Coby, Brenton, Joshua, Johnmichael,
Nevaeh and Xavier; one brother, Temple Taylor and his wife, Sharon of WI
and one sister, Jane Taylor of Tampa, FL.

6/24/16 — Marilyn Lee Floyd
Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Lee Floyd, age 85, of Hillsboro, TN,
will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Manchester
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rutledge Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on
Friday at the funeral home. Marilyn passed away on Wednesday, June 22,
2016 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN.
Marilyn was born in the Rutledge Hill Community of Coffee County, TN, the
daughter of the late Elgin B. and Theodolia Dooley Hill. She was an
excellent cook, loved gardening, and spending time with family. Marilyn
started her teaching career in a one room school in Hillsboro, then moved
to Nashville with her husband, where she taught elementary school for
about five years. The family moved to Estill Springs, where she taught
at East Lincoln Elementary in Tullahoma. They finally moved to
Hillsboro, where she retired from her teaching career at Hillsboro
Elementary School. Marilyn was a member of Hillsboro First Baptist
Church.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was also preceded in death by her
husband of 40 years, James H. Floyd; one brother, Elgin B. Hill, Jr.; and
two sisters, Willie Pearson and Gaynell Hill. She is survived by one
son, Mark (Millie) Floyd of Hillsboro; one daughter, Kim (Marlin) Hoover
of Manchester; two sisters, Mildred Sherrill of Rutledge Hill and Ruth
(Phillip) Weston of FL; several nieces and nephews; and a host of
friends.

Mrs. Vivian Wilson 96, of Fayetteville, TN passed Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Donelson Care Center in Fayetteville, TN. She was the daughter of the late George and Vera Bonner Gilbreath.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene (Crack), three children, Emmanuel D. Wilson, Paul D. Wilson and Jacquelyn M. Wilson, two sisters, Madelyn Niece and Martha Clark Dyer, brother, Clarence Gilbreath (CB) and granddaughter, Joni Ford .
She is survived by her one brother Charlie (Annette) Edmondson;
Three daughters, Dorothy (William) Haston of Fayetteville, TN; Vera (Samuel) Readus of Little Rock, AR; Pauline (Bill) Adkins of McLean, VA;
Two Sons, Henry Shield (Kendal) Wilson of Atlanta, Ga; George Christopher (Bettina) Wilson of Radcliff, KY; daughter in law Linda Wilson of Los Angles, Ca;

6/25/16 — Samuel Paul Howard
SAMUEL PAUL HOWARD, age 73 of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, June 20, 2016, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. Mr. Howard was born in Shelbyville, Tenn, on April 9, 1943, to the late EC Howard and Lena Cyree Howard. He was a retired Baptist Minister. He also was a Mechanic for the City of Tullahoma, Bedford County schools and a school bus driver for Metro Moore County. He was married on June 23, 1969 to Mary Jane Gazaway, his wife of almost 47 years. Mr. Howard known by many as Bro. Paul was a God fearing, Christian man serving the Lord in the ministry for many years and even talked of preaching this Sunday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Frances Reese, Virginia Howard, brother, Dearl Howard, nephews; Barry and Mark Shumake, Junior Howard, Jimmy Reese, and niece, Sherry Shumake.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Howard of Tullahoma, daughters; Belinda Sanders and husband, Jamie also of Tullahoma, Paula Morris and husband, Brent of Estill Springs. Grandsons; David Mangus of Tullahoma, Levi Amrine and Hayden Morris both of Estill Springs. Granddaughters; Amanda Barecky of Tullahoma, Amber Sanders of Murfreesboro and Emma Barecky of Estill Springs. Great-grandchildren; Kacey Barecky and Gunner Collins. Brothers; Billy Howard and wife, Frances of Shelbyville, Jerry Howard and wife, Lucille, Charles Shumake and wife, Mary, Donnie Howard and wife, Becky and a sister, Brenda Mathis and husband, Cecil all of Tullahoma. A multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, June 25, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Cecil Mathis, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 P.M. until Service time at 6:00.

Billie “Mr. Bill” Wilson Walden, 82, was born on March 24, 1934 and passed away on June 19, 2016. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Ragsdale Cemetery with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating.
He was a resident of Ocean Springs, Mississippi for the past 25 years. Mr. Bill shrimped beside his wife, Cora, until their retirement. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Jean Frink Walden; son, Steven Walden; and daughter, Carolyn Walden.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald and Michael Walden; his daughter, Debra Haynes; the mother of his children, Evelyn Gilbert; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Jerry King Banks was a retired brick and stone mason. He was born on
March 16, 1952, in Tullahoma, Tennessee to the late Ben Banks and
survived by mother, Mary Banks of Carthage, Tennessee, 1 sister; Judy
Pugh, of Manchester, Tennessee, 3 brothers; Mack and Carol Banks of
Manchester, Tennessee, Jack and Brenda Banks of Murfreesboro,
Tennessee, John and Lori Banks of Carthage, Tennessee, 3
grandchildren; Michelle, Brittany, and Brandon.Jerry was a resident of
The Bridge in Monteagle where he had many special friends including the
staff. He loved fishing and bird watching.

Virginia Ann Shirley, age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at her home in Moreland, GA. She was born on May 10, 1940 to the late William Dale Harrison and Virginia Grace Harrison. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her grandson Josh Story. Ann is survived by her husband Dave Shirley, Children; Cindy Green, Blaine Shirley, Ben Shirley, Tracy Story, Logan White, 7 great grandchildren, and siblings; Sheila Olmsted, Kyeisa Fuller and Tim Harrison.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Brown, age 71 of Manchester, will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating. Interment will follow in Bradley Cemetery in Erin, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Brown was born on September 21, 1944 in Lauderdale County, Alabama to the late Floyd and Elsie Lard. She was a faithful member of Main Street Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and had a heart for children. She worked in foster care by taking children into her home and caring for them. Spending time with and helping children is what she loved. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed landscaping her yard full of different types of flowers, especially her rose bushes.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Raney; her brother, J.G. Lard. Survived by her husband, Lloyd Brown; sons, Keith Raney and wife Donna, Kevin Raney and wife Jamie, Jeremy Brown, Austin Brown, Matthew Brown; daughters, Laura Monroe and husband Terry Bennett, Pamela Neal; 2 brothers, 3 sisters; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
