7/2/16 — Karrie Ann Arthur
Karrie Ann Arthur, age 34, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday,
June 25th, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, Alabama. She was
born in Tullahoma to Richard Riddle and Sue Ellen Tackett Davis, who
survive, and worked as an LPN with the Ilarde Clinic in Shelbyville.
Karrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Levoy Riddle, Sue
Ann Tackett, Dale Davis, Mercey D. Ackers, and Mary Littrell. She is
survived by her fiancé Wes Nelson of Tullahoma; her children, Jackson
Wade Arthur and Macie Suanna Arthur and their father, Willie Arthur of
Tullahoma; parents, Richard and Dena Riddle of Moore County and Troy and
Sue Ellen Davis of Tullahoma; three sisters, Samantha Childers and her
husband Brian of Shelbyville, Allie Mann and her husband C.J. of Winter
Haven, Florida, And Lynsey Riddle of Moore County; one brother, Tyler
Riddle of Moore County; and grandparents, Rev. Thomas Tackett and his
wife Nan of Princeton, Kentucky and Mary Alice Brown of Tullahoma.
Visitation for Karrie will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at Kilgore
Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm with a memorial service to immediately
follow at 4:00pm with Rev. Bobby Beal officiating.

6/27/16 — Millard W. Young
Millard W. Young, age 84, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Woodbury Health Care. He was a native of Cannon County.
Survivors include Son, Kim (Angie) Young of Woodbury, Daughter, Renee (Monte) Patterson of Murfreesboro, sister, Flossie (Buell) Warren of McMinnville, brother-in-law, Howard Helton of Nashville, Brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Margie Helton, grandchildren, Blake (Sarah) Patterson of Murfreesboro, Amber, Adam and Ashlyn Young all of Woodbury, 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Houston and Hester Young, wife Jean Young, grandson, Nick Patterson and sister, Gladys Parker.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, June 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Brother Herb Alsup officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4 to 8 pm Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the funeral home.
6/26/16 — Ida Duke Fyffe
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Duke Fyffe, age 84 of Spring Hill, Florida, will be conducted on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Reverend Neal Glass officiating. Interment will follow in Ivy Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Mrs. Fyffe passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
Mrs. Fyffe was born on November 9, 1931 to the late Marvin F. and Rosa Simmons Duke.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Morris Edward Duke. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Herb Fyffe; brothers, Jim (Rita) Duke, Lowell (Anita) Duke; sisters, Jean Duke Underwood, Marlene (Dave) Plummer, Shirley Duke Atnip, Peggy Duke Slatton, Barbara (Don) Duke. Kourtney Michelle Thompson, age 33, passed away on Wednesday, June
22nd, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. During
her life she worked as a Nurse Esthetician and was preceded in death by
both her grandfathers, Howard Clay Tucker and Jack M. Thompson Jr.
Kourtney is survived by her parents, Tony and Cindy Thompson; her son,
Korbin; grandmother, Margaret A. Tucker; uncle, Howard Tucker; cousin,
Jessica Archer and her husband Rich and their daughter Annabel;
grandmother, Barbara S. Thompson; brother-in-law, Chase Garrison and his
wife Cindy; nephews and niece, Brady and Mary Chase Garrison and Finn;
aunt, Donna Merritt and her husband Scott; cousins, Brennan Merritt and
his wife Mariana and their daughter Mary, Brantley Merritt, Kaylynn
Cunningham and her husband Robert, Mac Merritt, and Jamison Merritt. A
memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 26th, 2016 at 2:00pm in the
Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Hice officiating. Immediatley
following the service there will be two hours of visitation and
celebrating Kourtney’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that

Mrs. Margie Ruth Rollins, 81, passed away Wednesday June 22, 2016 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on May 18, 1935 to Clell and Mary Sanders Layne who preceded her in death along with her husband, Hershel Raymond Rollins; daughter, Patricia Ruth Rollins; sons, Mike and Jim Rollins; brothers, Ed, Claude, Clell Jr., Carl and Tommy Layne; sisters, Linda, Lena Grace and Sallie; grandsons, David J. Rollins and Harley Joe Rollins; great granddaughter, Star.
She is survived by her daughters, Peg (Ken) O’Dear, Ann (Brad) Seagraves, Barb (Ricky) Stevens, Vic (Tim) Driver; sons, Cleston (Marla), Hershel (Loretta), Dave (Diane), Rick (Kassie), Ken (Shannon) and Larry (Jessica) Rollins; brothers, Kenneth (Cheryl) and Rex (Dorothy) Layne; sisters, Betty Rhinehart, Sue Ann Champion and Mary Layne; 57 grandchildren; 85 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

6/27/16 — Virginia Faye Disch
Mrs. Virginia Faye Disch, 70, a resident of Tullahoma, TN passed away on
Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Monday, June 27 at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson
Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation
with the family will be Monday from 12 PM until the service time.
A native of Tullahoma, Virginia was the daughter of the late Fred J Smith
and the late Lorene Nichols Swearington. Mrs. Disch had worked as a
manager of a book store and enjoyed reading and playing computer games. At
one time she was a Girl Scout Leader and always enjoyed doing craft
projects, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Jones of Tullahoma; daughter,
Candice Smith of Tullahoma; step-son, Tony Jones of Tullahoma; brother,
Leonard Smith and his wife, Ruth of KY; grandchild, Shannon Jones of
Tullahoma and special friend of the family, Elaine McGuire of Tullahoma.

Violet O. Cornelius, age 85 of Manchester passed away June 21,2016. She was the daughter of late Ellis and Mintie Duncan. Violet was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and retired from the Manchester Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Grace Parker, Mary Rigney, Christine Rhea, Mable Vaughn, Ruby Shrader and Ruth Rigney, Brothers; John and Jack Duncan. Survived by her husband Charles Cornelius, 3 children; Debbie Bailey, Phillip McGhee and Ronnie McGhee,1 brother; Bruce Duncan, 9 grandchildren; Shawn McGhee, Tara O’Dell, A.J. Ziss, Misa McGhee, Danny Cerio, Nicholas Murray, Emily Moore, Cheryl Nugent and David C. Nugent, 7 great-grandchildren; Hailey McGhee, Aidan McGhee. William O’Dell, Katie Ziss, James Ziss, Titan Ziss and Tyler Cerio.

6/25/16 — Thomas Michael Leanza
Thomas Michael Leanza, age 58, of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday,
June 22nd, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Leanza was
born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Anita Caleca Leanza and Peter
Leanza who survives. During his life he worked as a Mechanical Designer
with Jacobs Engineering and was also a member of the Mach Tenn Running
Club. In addition to his mother, Tom was preceded in death by his half
brother, Robert Murano. He is survived by his wife Connie Leanza of
Tullahoma; daughter, Jennifer Jacob and her husband Nick of St.
Francisville, Louisiana; son, Craig Leanza of Nashville; sister, Natascha
Leanza of Ponce, Puerto Rico; two brothers, Pedro Leanza of Ponce, Puerto
Rico and Gaetano Leanza of Greenville, South Carolina; his father, Peter
Leanza and his step-mother, Elba Martinez Leanza. Visitation will be held
on Saturday, June 25th, 2016 from 12:00-3:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home
with the funeral service to immediately follow at 3:00pm. For those who

6/24/16 — James “Don” Donald Elam
James “Don” Donald Elam passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the age of 87. Born on November 3, 1928, and raised in Manchester, TN, the son of Harvey Elam and Beulah (Tolliver) Elam. He was always at home back in Tennessee and hated to leave here. In high school years. Don was the center on the Coffee County Central High School Basketball team, when he wasn’t working on the farm with the family. Later, Don served in the US Army for 2 years, worked for the US Postal Service and then pursued Chiropractic schooling in Chicago, where he meet his wife, Helen. Don later worked at Kraft Foods for over 16 years until he retired at the age of 74. Don had a passion for working for the Lord. He cared for all people, would wave to anyone, and was willing to give anyone a ride to worship God. He loved being with his grandkids, being in his garden, and sharing the “fruits of his labors” with anyone, and swimming at the “Y”. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gordon and Glenis, mother-in-law Elizabeth Krumrel. Don is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen (Krumrel) Elam; Loving Dad to his children Craig, Blair (Susan), Roger, Paul (Lisha), Karen, Dale (Sarah); Loving Grandpa to his grandchildren Stephanie, Josh, Janelle, Chris, Justin, Tyler, Carter, Marina and Jake; Loving brother of Marion, June, Doris, Tom and Ralph. He will be missed by nephews/nieces, other relatives, brethren in the Chicagoland area, and friends.

Barbara Louise Cyr
Barbara Louise Cyr, 88, a resident of Tullahoma, TN passed away on Tuesday,
June 21, 2016 at her residence. Memorial Services will be held at a later
time.
Mrs. Cyr, a native of New Hampshire, was the daughter of the late Elwin and
Pauline Terrell Lesperance. She was a nurse and enjoyed working crossword
puzzles and bowling. She was an adventurer who enjoyed going on special
short adventures. These were outings with different family members which
included such things as special meals or going for ice cream. Everyone
loved being included in her adventures.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Edward N Cyr Jr; one son, Rian “Rocky” C.P. Cyr; three brothers, Albert
Lesperance and William and Paul Hogan and five sisters, Christine
Lesperance, Carol Hogan, Pauline Cole, Sally Hogan and Ann Geddes.
She is survived by one daughter, Michelle C Edmunds of Tullahoma; two sons,
Edward “Noel” N Cyr III and his wife, Robyn of Lake Worth, FL and Duane S
Cyr Sr and his wife, Faith of Athens, AL; nine grandchildren and fourteen
great grandchildren.
