2/20/17 — Ester Yvonne Qualls
Ester Yvonne Qualls, age 75 of Altamont, Tennessee passed away into Eternal Rest on February 17, 2017 at the Harton Tennova Healthcare in Tullahoma.
Mrs. Qualls was a dedicated homemaker who loved to cook and provide wonderful home cooked meals for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and anyone that happened to drop by. She also was a devoted christian that read her Bible. Yvonne could quote scripture after scripture without even reaching for her Bible for reference. She was a member of the Church of God.
Yvonne will be fondly remembered as one who loved her family and friends. She was a kind, caring, loving lady that definitely loved to talk and visit with everyone. She was a people person, with a sweet smile always on her face.
Mrs. Qualls was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ores E. Stephens and Bessie Mae Stephens and an infant son, Scott Alan Qualls, four brothers; Lonnie Stephens, Athel Stephens, Danny Stephens, and Eddy Stephens.
She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Devander (A.D.) Qualls of Altamont, Tennessee; a daughter, Sonja R. Qualls of Altamont, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Heather Killian of Beersheba Springs, Tennessee, Jordan Qualls of McMinnville, Tennessee, and Brianna Qualls of Manchester, Tennessee, three great-grandchildren, Alex Killian, Kadan Killian, and Axton Qualls, a brother, Denzil Stephens, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

2/21/17 — Beulah Lee Crocker
Funeral services for Ms. Beulah Lee Crocker, age 93 of Manchester, will be
held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11 AM at Manchester Funeral Home with
Pastor Ben Day officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, February 20, 2017
from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Ms. Crocker passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Manchester Health
Care.
Ms. Beulah was born on August 18, 1923, to the late Mitch and Mary Bell
Floyd in Coffee County. She was a member of the Goosepond Methodist Church.
She received her 10 year pin at Edens Industries and her 5 year pin at the
shirt factory.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Beulah was also preceded in death by her
husband of 63 years, Amos Crocker; by her daughter, Mary Lee Eaton; and by
her son, David Crocker. She is survived by her son, Elvin (Bonnie) Crocker
of Pleasant View; daughter, Joe Ann (Vert) Hartman of Manchester; brother,
Buford (Lexie) Floyd of Manchester; sister, Lorene Bratcher of Manchester;
daughter-in-law, Nancy Crocker of Manchester; 8 grandchildren, Nicole
(Rodney) Brinkley, Nathan (Abby) Crocker, Rhonda (Scott) Murray, Jamie
(Kevin) Raney, Heather (Tim) Halbeck, Mitchell (Dawn) Crocker, Sherry
Crocker, and Kathy (Michael) Warren;14 great grandchildren and a host of
friends.

2/20/17 — Betty Jean House
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean House, age 79 of Manchester, will be
held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 9 AM at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro.
Kerry Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rosa Hill Memorial
Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation with the House family will be Sunday,
February 19, 2017 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Betty passed
away Friday evening, February 17 at her home.
Betty was the daughter of the late Greely William and Oleta Walker
Sanders. She was born on March 3, 1937 in Hamilton, MS. She was a cook at
Westwood Junior High School in Manchester and attended the Trinity Baptist
Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her husband
of 58 years, Richard Earl House, who passed away in November of 2016. Also,
preceding her are four brothers, Greely William, Jr., Tommy, Lloyd, and
Roger Sanders; and three sisters, Ellen Vargas, Frances Bozeman, and Reba
Malone.
Mrs. Betty is survived by her children, Richard Neal and Leonard David
House, Jackie Lynn (Kelly) Barnes, and Peggy Earline House, all of
Manchester; eight grandchildren, Chris, Calvin, and Angie Barnes, John
Collins, Kyle Chumbley, Terri Walker, Kelly Smith, and Kristen House; 12
great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Sheila Jean Harris
Shelia Jean Harris age 47 passed away on February 16, 2017 at her residence in Tullahoma.
A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late James L. Harris and Nellie Jean Tankersley of Tullahoma. She was a homemaker, enjoyed swimming at the lake, loved to grill out and go for long rides in the country.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Shelia is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Jean Bradford and husband AJ of Tullahoma; half-brother Brad Weddington of Tullahoma, half-sister Penny Bearden of Shelbyville, Tennessee; one grandson, Jacob Eli Bradford and her boyfriend, William S. Hall, Jr.

2/19/17 — William Edward Simmons
William Edward Simmons, a resident of Tullahoma, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his residence at the age of 79 years. Local visitation with the family will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. On Sunday, February 19, 2017 visitation will be held at Groce Funeral Home, 1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806 from 2 – 4 PM with graveside services following at Green Hills Cemetery.
A native of McDowell County, NC, he was the son of the late Paul and Estelle Messer Simmons. Mr. Simmons was a U S Army veteran and was a milkman. He worked hard his whole life. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He enjoyed camping, old cars and watching western movies and TV shows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Crigger Simmons and one sister, Betty England.
He is survived by one son, Billy Simmons of Columbus, NC; one daughter, Elaine Crawford and her fiancé’ Joseph Niblett of Tullahoma and four grandchildren, Bradley and Meagan Crawford and Billy and Haylie Simmons.

2/19/17 — Shirley Sue Harmon
Shirley Sue Harmon of Tullahoma passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 74 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM.
A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Marie Ray Adams. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Manchester. She enjoyed listening to music, playing with her grandchildren and taking rides in the car.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harmon; son, Larry Wayne Carter and sister, Patsy Eason.
Mrs. Harmon is survived by one son, Tommy Harmon and his wife, Denise of Tullahoma; brother, Buddy Adams of Americus, GA; sisters, Carolyn Cody of Hillsboro and Betty Gayle Garner of Winchester; uncle, Fred Ray of Tullahoma; three grandchildren, Brian and Chase Harmon and Brittany Burnette and one great grandchild, Kirra Hill.

Ms. Sally Frances Kennerly 80, of Cleveland, Ohio, native of Decherd, TN passed February 10, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Frances Kennerly.
She leaves to cherish her memories: seven siblings—Benjamin Kennerly of Chicago, Illinois, Norma Jean Harden of Cleveland, Ohio, Virginia (Junior) Askins of Chicago, Illinois, Will (Buddy) deceased, Reynolds (Patty) of Cleveland, Ohio, Joana Betts of Cleveland, Ohio, Lawrence (Shirley) of Decherd, Tennessee, Linda (Bobby) King of Decherd, Tennessee;

1/18/17–David “Breuster” M Lowe
David “Breuster” M Lowe of Tullahoma passed away Tuesday, February 14,
2017
at Meherry General Hospital at the age of 61 years. Graveside services are
scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Farrar Hill Cemetery.
A native of Manchester, he was the son of the late John David Lowe and Emma
Turner Lowe of Tullahoma. He enjoyed watching sports of TV and listening
to music, especially “Kiss”. He also loved his family very much.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brother, Howard
and Randy Joe Lowe and one sister, Billie Jo Winton.
In addition to his mother, Emma Turner Lowe of Tullahoma, he is survived by
two sons, David and Jeremy Lowe; one brother, John Lowe of Manchester and
one sister, Maggie Martin and her husband, Robert of Tullahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to be made
to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

2/16/17–Mary Elizabeth Henley Niederhauser
Mary Elizabeth Henley Niederhauser, prominent business woman in Coffee County, died peacefully Feb. 12 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents E E Henley and Louise Henley. She is survived by three children, Edward Henley “Butch” Niederhauser (Tina) of Manchester, George Michael “Mike” Niederhauser of Estill Springs, Mary Reece Campbell (David) of Milton, Ga.; five grandchildren, Holly Niederhauser Vaughn, Brian Niederhauser (Carrie), Micah Campbell Porter (Corey), Meghan Campbell Murray (Tim), Melissa Campbell Porter (Chris) and seven great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by one brother, Ed Henley (Vivian) and sister-in-law Mary Joyce Burrus Lynch as well as three nieces and one nephew. Mary was born in Sewanee. She later attended Ward-Belmont Junior College, the University of Tennessee where she was a Delta Delta Delta sorority member and graduated from George Peabody College with a major in Home Economics. In the early sixties, she was a buyer for Cain-Sloan Company in Nashville and later followed in her father’s footsteps moving to Manchester and opening Henley’s Department Store. Mary made many contributions to the Manchester community. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce where she served as Treasurer and Board member. Mary was also awarded the esteemed Wayne Bramblett Award. Mary was deeply involved with The Forward March Community Revitalization, Retail Affairs Committee, Downtown Merchant Association, Small Business Committee, Coffee County Republican Committee, and many more. She also had a very active social life including leadership positions in local garden clubs, Bridge Clubs, Centennial Club and was a founding member of the “Bonnagrannies.” Mary was a member of the Manchester First United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. at Manchester First United Methodist Church, 105 Church Street, Manchester, Tennessee 37355. Visitation with the family will be held from 1-3 p.m. Mrs. Niederhauser donated her body to the Vanderbilt University Medical School. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester First United Methodist Church, Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37203, Anatomical Donations Program at Vanderbilt or Ward Belmont Endowed Scholarship Fund at Belmont University.

Donna Louise Branch of Tullahoma passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at
Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 61 years. Funeral services are
scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson

A native of Harrosdsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Donald Fuell
and Mattie Nichols Eldridge of Winchester. Donna loved to cook and always
enjoyed helping people.
In addition to her mother, Mattie Nichols Eldridge and her husband, Arnold
of Winchester, Donna is survived by her husband, Greg Branch of Tullahoma;
step son, Brian Branch and his wife, Danielle of Franklin County;
brother-in-law, Gary Branch of Tullahoma; cousin, Connie Harshbarger of
Tullahoma and five grandchildren.
