11/5/17 — Clyde C. Haines
Funeral services for Mr. Clyde C. Haines, age 86 of Coffee County will be
conducted at 2pm, Sunday, November 5th in the Manchester Funeral Home
Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Visitation with the Haines
family will begin at 12:00pm, Sunday at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr.
Haines passed this life on October 26th, in Gulf Breeze Florida.
Mr. Haines was a lifelong resident of Coffee County and enjoyed all
things outdoors and especially his time on the lake. He is Preceded in
death by his parents Martin and Julia Haines; wife Evelyn Haines; brother
Kenneth Haines.
He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends

11/5/17 — Margaret Lillian Green Anderson
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Lillian Green Anderson, age 93, of
Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017
at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Williams and Terry
Milburn officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on
Saturday, November 4, 2017, and 8:00 AM until time of service on Sunday
at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Thursday, November 2,
2017 at McArthur Manor in Manchester, TN.
Margaret was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Eulis E.
and Novia Smith Green. Margaret was a member of the New Union Church of
Christ, and a 1941 graduate of Central High School in Manchester.
Margaret was a former member of the Coffee County Home Demonstration
Club, the Coffee County Young Farmers and Homemakers, The Middle
Tennessee Association of Realtors, The Tennessee Association of Realtors,
and the National Association of Realtors. At the time of her death, Mrs.
Anderson was an active member of The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and
Exhibitors Association, TWHBEA.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her
husband, S.P. “Pete” Anderson, who passed away in 1992; and siblings,
Warfield Green, Leon Green, Ojena Sain, and Ray Green. She is survived
by her children, Freda Kay (Bobby) Jones, and Sammy Powell (Cindy)
Anderson; three grandchildren, Sammy Powell (Michelle) Anderson, III,
Margaret Shanelle (Kyle) Gray, and Suzanne Adean (Joe) Boze; nine
great-grandchildren, Sammy Powell “Pete” Anderson, IV, Daniel Lee
Anderson, John Thomas Anderson, Elizabeth Ann Anderson, Michael Frelan
Anderson, Bryleigh Kaydence Gray, Bridger Kylen Gray, Joe Fox Boze, and
Anderson Essex Boze; one sister, Linda Sue (Jerry) Stephens;
brother-in-law, Phillip (Venita) Anderson; sister-in-law, Wilma Anderson;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

11/17/17 — Anthony Lee “Tony” Mathis
Mr. Anthony Lee “Tony” Mathis, 54, of Manchester passed away on October 30, 2017. He was born on April 17, 1963 in Smyrna, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Elvis Mathis.
He is survived by his wife, Charmayne Thompson Mathis of Manchester; daughter, Destani Thompson; mother, Betty Dykes; best friend of over 30 years Jason Pierce; and by aunts, uncles, cousins, and special little dog, Scooter.
Tony was a fun-loving jokester. If he knew and liked you then he would make it a point to aggravate and joke with you. He loved to be outdoors, going fishing in the river near his home, going hiking at Lookout Mountain, or in parks with his family. He played the acoustic guitar at home for fun and was teaching his daughter, Destani how to play. His wife Charmayne and he had been together for over 13 years. Their dog Scooter was just like another child and Tony would aggravate him too. He attended the Church of Christ. Over the years he worked doing different jobs repairing HVAC, working on cars, and lawnmowers.
The family will host visitation at the Ada Wright Community Room, Manchester, TN on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm. Bro. Jerry Barrett will officiate. His family will honor his wishes to be cremated and scattered in one of his favorite places at Lookout Mountain. 11/11/17–Bennie A. Ford
A memorial service for Mr. Bennie A. Ford, age 84, of Manchester, TN will
be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Manchester Funeral
Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Henson officiating. Mr. Ford passed away on
Thursday, November 2, 2017, at NHC in Tullahoma, TN.
Bennie was born in Trimble County, KY, the son of the late Ben C. and
Ruby M. Coons Ford. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in
the United States Navy and Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
In later years, he tested ammunition for the United States Army. Bennie
enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and fishing. He was a member of the
First Baptist Church in Crossville, TN.
In addition to his parents, Bennie was also preceded in death by his
wife, Dixie Ford. He is survived by two sons, Ricky Lee Ford and Terry
Ray (Patricia) Ford; one daughter, Rebecca Ann (Mark) Johnson; two
sisters, Shirley (Bernie) Ginn of Milton, KY and Nancy (Charlie) Suell of
Louisville, KY; one grandchild, Lisa (Jon) Sims; and two
great-grandchildren, Samuel Grant DeKeyser and Anne Marie DeKeyser, both
of Greenfield, IN.

11/4/17–Melodie Dawn Young
Young, Melodie Dawn, of Tullahoma, passed this life and entered into her
eternal rest on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 at her home surrounded by her
loving family at the age of 41. Melodie was born in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee to her parents, Carl and Jackie. During her life she worked as
an LPN with Wellness Solutions and was a member of Rutledge Falls Baptist
Church. Melodie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and
Margie Trail and James and Margaret Preston; and her brother-in-law,
Andrew Grubb. She is survived by her husband Brian Young; two daughters,
Ashlee Renay and Audree Faith Young; two sons, Aden Blake and
Brennan Alexander Young; her mother, Jackie Preston and her husband David
of Beech Grove; her father, Carl Brackett Jr. and his wife Mary of
Charlottesville, Virginia; three sisters, Chasity Hope Grubb of Smyrna,
Tennessee, Catherine Grace Brackett of Arlington, Virginia and Megan
Estelle Brackett of Washington, D.C.; and her grandparents, Ed and Brenda
Brackett and Patricia Adams. Visitation will be held on Friday, November
3rd, 2017 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will
be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Morris, Harold Partain Jr., Dee Drake, and
Paul Parsley officiating. Burial will follow at Gnat Hill Cemetery in
Manchester. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers the family asks that
donations be made to the Melodie Young Benefit Account at First National
Bank in Manchester.

11/3/17 — Marlin Randel Partin
Marlin Randel Partin of Tullahoma passed this life on Wednesday, October
25, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the age
of 57 years. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, November 3, 2017
at 6:30 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family
will be Friday, November 3 from 5 PM – 6:30 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home.
Mr. Partin worked construction prior to his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marlin Partin and brother, Eddie
Burns.
Mr. Partin is survived by his wife, Rita Partin; mother, Deliah Watkins;
daughters, Shawana Walley, Alesha Herrin, Laura Walley and Hailey Winstead;
brothers, Carson “Peanut” Partin, Benny Partin and Thomas Burns; sisters,
Valarie Hazelwood, Marlene Thompson and Judy King; seven grandchildren and
numerous nieces and nephews.

11/3/17 — Billy Cecil Payne
A celebration of life for Mr. Billy Cecil Payne, age 88, of Manchester, TN will be held from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Manchester Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Payne passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.
Billy was born in Obion Co., TN, the son of the late Dennis and Allie Payne. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and served in the Korean War. He later worked at Arnold Air Force Base for 35 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manchester, TN, and was a very loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Warren, Fred, and Marvin Payne; and one sister, Gwen Nagey. He is survived by his son, Dennis Payne; one daughter, Jaelynn Walker; and two grandsons, Cedric and Brandon Sissom.

Mrs. Judy Marie Jennings, age 64, of Bradyville, TN, passed away on November 1, 2017 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN. Private family services will be held at a later date.

11/4/17 — Jerry D. Thompson
Jerry D Thompson of Manchester passed this life on Tuesday, October 31,
2017 at his residence at the age of 71 years. Funeral services are
scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation with
the family will be Saturday, November 4 from 11 AM – 1 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson, the son of the late Jessie Benjamin and Mattie Belle Gray
Thompson, was born on June 22, 1946 in Manchester, TN. He enjoyed mud
bogging with his nephews, working in his yard, fishing and watching stock
car racing and football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe
Gail Thompson and two sisters, Jessie Ruth Gannon and Kathy Fiske.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Beverly Thompson of Manchester;
step-sons, Shaw Regan and his fiance’ Dana Sklenar of Estill Springs and
Steven Regan of Manchester; granddaughter, Brailynn Regan; best friends,
Jimmy, Rich and Donny of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to be made
to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

11/1/17–Ellie Sue England
Ellie Sue England, age 93, passed away at the age 93 on October 28, 2017, in
Manchester, Tennessee. Mrs. England was born in Manchester on September 5,
1924, to her parents, the late A.A. and Myrtle Smith. She was also preceded
in death by her husband M. G. England Jr. Mrs. England was a homemaker and
enjoyed her flower garden. She loved pretty flowers and how all the colors
brightened everything around them. Mrs. England was a member of the
Blanton’s Chapel Methodist Church.
Mrs. England is survived by two sons; Don England and Jerry England, and
five grandchildren.

1:00 P.M.
