11/13/17 — Mary L. Forsythe
Mary L Forsythe of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2017
at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro at the age of 65 years.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 13, 2017 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Reeves officiating.
Visitation
with the family will be Monday, November 13, from 12 PM – 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Mary, the daughter of the late Jacob and Josephine Watkins Bost, was born
in Tullahoma on November 15, 1951. She enjoyed dancing and taught country
western line dancing. She also enjoyed camping and listening to music. She
especially enjoyed her puppies, Taco and Smokey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers,
Oscar, David and Jacob Bost and one sister, Betty Jean Bost.
Mrs. Forsythe is survived by four daughters, Angela Byford of Normandy,
Tina McDaniel and her husband, Donald of Shelbyville, Julie Nicole Byers
and Star Forsythe; one brother, Billy Bost and his wife, Patsy of
Tullahoma; two sisters, Mildred Kathy Guerra of Normandy and Judy Brown and
her husband, Wayne of Decatur, IL; nine grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.

11/12/17–Samuel Franklin Hart
Samuel Franklin Hart, age 97, of Petersburg, TN passed away on November 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 4, 1919 in Marshall County, TN, son of the late Benjamin Franklin & Ollie Mae Davis Hart. Mr. Hart was a veteran of the US Army and a former employee of the National Pen & Pencil Co. He served for over 50 years as an elder of the Cane Creek Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Verna Cashion Hart; second wife, Elizabeth Riner Hart; and two brothers, Wade Hart and Floyd Hart.
Mr. Hart is survived by his two daughters: Emily Sweat of Hendersonville, TN and Beverly Roberts of Hazel Green, AL; two sons: Ralph Wayne (Dixie) Hart of Manchester, TN and Dwayne (Brenda) Hart of Petersburg, TN; nine grandchildren: Jeff Hart, Tiffany (Lance) Perkins, Gina (Jason) Tincher, Shane (Melissa) Pruitt, Sandy (Jeff) Hedden, Cory (Ronnie) Mitchell, Megan (Adam) Fullerton, Rebecca (Nathan) Taylor and Madalyn Hart; sixteen great grandchildren: Cale Perkins, Garrett Perkins, Callyn Tincher, Carlee Tincher, Lathan Tincher, Michael Pruitt, Jacob Pruitt, Adam Pruitt, Jaida Pruitt, Elenee Pruitt, Heather (Ray) Helton, Paige (Cody) Wheat, Makayla (Jacob) Elders, Emmalyn Taylor, Cody Mitchell and Samuel Mitchell; and two great-great grandchildren: Isabel Mitchell and Beckham Helton.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Ralph Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
11/14/17 — Linda F. Williamson
Linda F Williamson of Moore County passed this life on Wednesday, November
8, 2017 at her residence at the age of 58 years. Funeral services are
scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with Bro. David Creech officiating. Burial will follow at New
Mt. Herman Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November
14, from 11 AM – 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Linda, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Gladys Gay Williamson, was born
on March 8, 1959 in Dade City, FL. She “lived for the Lord” and was
attending the Deason Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, camping,
singing and coloring.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by two sons, Walter “Wally” Williamson and
his
wife, Tiffany of Shelbyville and Randall Williamson of South Carolina;
three daughters, Tammy Baker and her husband, Jessie of Moore County; Linda
“Two” N Williamson of Chapel Hill and Heather Temple of South Carolina;
sister, Carolyn Shive and her husband, Gene of Ridge Manor, FL; seventeen
grandchildren, one great grandchild and eight step grandchildren.

11/9/17–Sadie Ezelle Farless
Sadie Ezelle Farless, age 88 passed
away at the Manchester Health Care Center in Manchester on November 6,
2017. Mrs. Farless was born in Summitville to her parents, the late Jesse
Daniel Bryant and Bertha Rackley Bryant on August 4, 1929. She was also
preceded in death by her husband James Harley Farless. Mrs. Sadie Farless
loved to read and she loved her flower garden. She was a wonderful cook
and people had a great time eating her meals. No one ever left her place
hungry. If they came to visit she made sure they ate before they left.
Ms. Sadie attended the Midway Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons; Royce Farless, James Aaron Farless and his
wife Teresa, Tim Farless and his wife Patty, nine grandchildren; Jeremy
Farless, Courtney Farless, Jennifer Harrell and her husband Chris,
Miranda Farless and her husband Justin, Amanda Rutherford and her husband
Todd, Ashley Mason and her husband Sean, Brian Myers and Heather, and
Cindy Myers, and a brother; Frank Bryant and his wife Jean, and a sister
Gladys Davenport and her husband Robert.

11/15/17 — Michael Tate
Michael Tate 73, of Cowan passed at his residence after a brief illness. He was a lifelong residence of Cowan, TN. He graduated from Townsend High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Eva Brazier and grandmother, Leila Brazier.
He is survived by host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

11/7/17 — Richie Eslick Pierce
Mr. Richie Eslick Pierce passed away at his Lynchburg, Tennessee residence on November 5, 2017 at the age of 59.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Glen and Lois Ann Eslick Pierce on February 27, 1958. He was also preceded in death by his brother Randy Pierce.
Mr. Pierce enjoyed fox hunting, NASCAR, sports and listening to the radio.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Judy Grammer Pierce and children Ted Pierce and his wife Wendy of Lynchburg and Rachel Pierce and Daryl McGee of Tullahoma. Surviving siblings are Stanley Pierce and his wife Pam of Lynchburg and Pam Noles and her husband Bill of Lynchburg. Also surviving are grandchildren Rayel and Colin Pierce and Liza, Leyla and Isaiah McGee.
Visitation with family members will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Lynchburg Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, followed by a funeral service officiated by Bro. Jack Hice at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Lynchburg Cemetery.

11/8/17–Jerry Garland Cunningham
Jerry Garland Cunningham of Shelbyville passed this life on Saturday,
November 4, 2017 at Tennova – Shelbyville at the age of 75 years. Funeral
services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 1 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Rhoton officiating. Burial
will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation with the

Jerry was a native of Bedford County. He was the son of the late Marvin
and Vona Mai Bell Cunningham. He served in the U S Army for two years in
Korea. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church where he served as a
Deacon. He retired from Textron Aircraft Corp after 34 years of service.
Jerry
enjoyed playing golf and bowling and won many trophies. He also enjoyed
traveling. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan for over 50 years.
Mr. Cunningham is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Donnell
Cunningham of Shelbyville and daughter, Joy Cunningham Janey and her
husband, William of Belvidere.

11/7/17–Jerrel David Sullivan
Funeral services for Dr. Jerrel David Sullivan, age 72, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Alan Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the funeral home. Dr. Sullivan passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
David was born in Greenfield, TN on January 23, 1945. He was a general surgeon in Manchester for 37 years and was one of the founders of Medical Center of Manchester. David was a faithful member and elder for over 10 years at Main Street Church of Christ. He loved reading the Bible, writing bible workbooks, teaching classes for the church, and doing mission work. He loved farming and hunting, and spending time with his family. David was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and brother.
Preceded in death by his father, Jerrel Dean Sullivan and one brother, Chat Wayne Sullivan. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Needham Sullivan; his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Matney Sullivan; three sons, Trent David (Leslie) Sullivan of College Grove, TN, Paul Byron (Kim) Sullivan and Josh Dwayne (Amanda) Sullivan, both of Manchester; one daughter, Leah Ann Sullivan of Knoxville, TN; four brothers, Donald Sullivan of Counce, TN, Danny (Jeanne) Sullivan of Atoka, TN, Tim (Karen) Sullivan of Falkner, MS, and Mark (Dana) Sullivan of Middleton, TN; seven grandchildren, Caleb Sullivan, Byron Sullivan, Carlee Sullivan, Maddie Sullivan, Allie Sullivan, Miles Sullivan, and Drake Elkin.

Tinya “Ty” Blandford Ledford
Tinya “Ty” Blandford Ledford passed away on November 3, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the age of 66.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 3, 1950, Tinya was the daughter of the late Stanly and Emily O’Dear Blandford.
An Episcopalian by faith, Tinya was known as an honest person that would give the shirt off of her back. She also loved music and animals.
She is survived by her sister Rhonda Kilgore of Sewanee, Tennessee and nephew Joshua Gregory of Estill Springs and daughter Maryetta Kirk along with a great nephew Kamden Kilgore and great niece Kyla Kilgore. She was preceded in death by nephews Kyle and Zach Kilgore.
Services are not scheduled at this time.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Ruth Cook, age 78, of Estill Springs, TN,
will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Manchester
Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Watkins officiating. Burial will
follow in New Brick Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be
from 11:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home on Monday. Mrs.
Cook passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at her residence.
Sara was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late Willis and
Lessie Mae Hill Wimley. She was a factory worker at Eden Industries and
a member of Christian Lighthouse Church in Tullahoma. Sara loved working
in the yard on her flowers and cooking. She loved her pictures of her
family and all of her babies, especially all of her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sara was also preceded in death by her
husband, Norman “Mac” Cook. She is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne
Cook and Daryl Ray Cook; three daughters, Nancy Marie (Gary) Long, Mary
Frances Jones, and Kathleen Cook; one brother, Willis (Jessie Mae)
Wimberley, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Virginia Brown, Dorothy Mae (George
Robert) Hill, and Martha Alice Miller; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
