Mr. Charles L. Cooper, Jr 51, of Tullahoma passed Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He is the son of the late Charles L.Cooper Sr and Alberta Cooper.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica (Terry Deshields) Cooper of Manchester, TN,

Son- Roman Cooper of Tullahoma, TN

Sister -Jene Cooper of Tullahoma, TN

Brother – Canton (Angie) Cooper of Murfreesboro, TN

Two Special Friends, Jamie Anthony and Tony McMahon both of Tullahoma.

12/31/17 —- Dorothy V. Grant

Dorothy V Grant, of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday, December 27,
2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville at the age of 89 years. 

Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood
Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 11 AM.

Mrs. Grant, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of the late Elmer and
Dora Belle Stump Pogue.  She was born on May 26, 1928.  She attended the
Christian Lighthouse Church in Tullahoma and enjoyed reading and traveling.
Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer
Grant and brothers, William and J R Pogue.

Mrs. Grant is survived by one son, Ronnie Grant and his wife, Marilyn of
London, OH; two daughters, Nancy Stemple and her husband, Emil of Lansing,
IL and Beverly Thompson of Manchester; one brother, Melvin Pogue and his
wife, Nancy of Tullahoma; six grandchildren, Phillip Grant and her wife,
Michelle of New Bremen, OH, Timothy Grant of Louisburg, NC, Amy Utt and her
husband, Brian of Midlothian, IL; Matthew Stemple and his wife, Christina
of Beecher, Il, Shawn Regan and his fiancé’ Dana Sklenar of Estill
Springs
and Steven Regan of Manchester and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial donations be made in
her honor to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

12/29/17 — Mary Marie Bouldin Trail

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Marie Bouldin Trail, age 66, of
Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 29,
2017 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Darrel Nance
officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Mill Cemetery. The family
will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until
8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Trail passed away on Tuesday, December
26, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mary was born in Warren County, TN, the daughter of Frank and Hazel
Bouldin. She was a CNA at Coffee County Health Department, a former
member of Cagle Community Church in Dunlap, TN, and a member of Rutledge
Falls Baptist Church. Mary loved her family and her dogs, enjoyed
cooking, and loved helping people in need.

In addition to her parents, Mary is also survived by her husband, Doug
Trail; one son, Clay Solomon; one daughter, Lydia Tittsworth; one
brother, James Bouldin; one sister, Virginia McBride; and step children,
Matthew and Jonathan Trail.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help needy
families. A box will be set up during visitation and funeral hours.

12/29/17 — Cecil Andrew Laxson

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Andrew “Andy” Laxson, age 67, of McMinnville, TN will be conducted on Friday December 29, 2017, at 4:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 2pm until 4pm at Bell Springs United Methodist Church (9607 Murfreesboro Hwy.) Mr. Laxson passed away on December 26, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Cecil Laxson attended Bell Springs United Methodist Church. He
enjoyed spending time with his family and attending grandchildren’s sporting events.
Mr. Laxson is preceded in death by his mother; Vera Laxson. Andy is survived by his father; J.C Laxson; his son; Jason (Tiffany) Laxson; Daughter; Becky (Glenn) Shelton; Brother, Amos (Sheila) Laxson; three sisters, Ann (Mike) Pelham, Faye(Gary) Prater, and Connie (Rusty) Heatherly; five grandchildren, Kristen Shelton, Ali Shelton, Emily Shelton, Lily Laxson, and Andi Grace Laxson.

12/29/17 — Selma Lee Tillery

Selma Lee Tillery, of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, December 22,
2017 at Unity Medical Center at the age of 60 years. Funeral Services will
be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will
receive friends beginning at 11 AM.

Mrs. Tillery, a native of Nashville, was the daughter of the late Herman
and Bonzie Vada Paul Bowman. She was the youngest of sixteen children. She
enjoyed drawing, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and doing crafts. She
was a very talented seamstress and was the “Best Nanny ever”. She was a
member of the River of Life Church in Smyrna.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter,
Katrina Tillery; eight brothers, J B, Bob, Bud, Bill, Ray, Peanut, Larry
and Jerry Bowman and one sister, Jearline Burnette.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gerald Tillery of
Manchester; two daughters, Amanda Garant and her fiance’, James Pacene of
Manchester and Sabrina Phelps and her fiancé, Scott Mahaffey of
Murfreesboro; brothers, Jackie and Johnny Bowman, both of Murfreesboro;
sisters, Jean Young of Murfreesboro, Pat Gentry of Murfreesboro, Juanita
Copeland of Livingston and Linda Metzinger of Indiana and nine
grandchildren, Brooke, Adrian and Rose Garant, David Garant Jr., Chyanna,
Jordan, Billy and Christopher Phelps and Courtney Carara.

12/30/17 — John Timothy Prince

John Timothy Prince, of Hillsboro, passed this life on Monday, December 25,
2017 at Unity Medical Center at the age of 44 years. Funeral Services will
be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Ragsdale Cemetery. The family will receive
friends beginning at 11 AM.

Mr. Prince, a native of Winchester, was son of the William and Hilda Kirk
Prince of Morrison. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nina Prince of
Hillsboro; two sons, Christopher and Isaiah Prince, both of Hillsboro; two
brothers, Leroy Prince and his wife, Valarie of Summitville and Junior
Wright and his wife, Shaney of Tullahoma; two sisters, Rosie Cheney and her
husband, Sammy of Summitville and Sheila Young of Hillsboro; one grandchild
on the way and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

12/26/17 — Jerry Dale Gallagher

Mr. Jerry Dale Gallagher, 63, passed away, Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his home with his children at his bedside. He was born in Tullahoma on January 16, 1954 to Benton Clay and Cleora Wilson Gallagher who preceded him in death along with his niece, Shannon Magouirk.

Jerry worked on the family farm with his father and was a delivery driver for Coca-Cola and Frito Lay for many years. He also worked with his brother Kenny and nephew Tyler repairing and sealing asphalt driveways and parking lots.

He is survived by his daughters, Shalonda (Monte) Meeks and Amanda (Jamie) Ruehling of Gruetli-Laager and his son, Dustin (Tava) Gallagher of Manchester; sister, Tressie Jo (John) Kennedy; brothers, Bobby (Sheila) and Kenny (Tammy) Gallagher; grandchildren, Karastin, Kyla and Bryson Braden, Emily and Creed Meeks, Jaden, Jalie and Jeter Ruehling; great grandchildren, Tristin, Lindley and Shayde; niece, Shelly Landis; nephews, Scotty Magourik and Ben Gallagher; his best friend Pearl his faithful dog.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Minister John Kennedy officiating and memories shared by family and friends. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee.

12/27/17 — Andrew Lee Fletcher, Jr.

Mr. Andrew Lee Fletcher Jr., 89, passed away Friday December
22, 2017 at his home. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee on November 1,
1928 to Andrew Lee Fletcher Sr. and Ollie Lawson Fletcher who preceded him
in death along with his brother, Frank Fletcher; sisters, Nellie Argo,
Rantha Jackson and Pauline Swann.

He was a bus driver for Coffee County Schools and Head Start. He worked at
Brundige Company in Kalamazo, Michigan and at Schultz Trailer in Elkhart,
Indiana in his early years. He attended the Calvary Apolistolic Church in
Tullahoma and later The Original Church of Jesus Christ in Manchester. He
loved to work in his garden and was always busy helping others including
working with the Heartfelt Organization.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Christine Cantrell Fletcher; son,
Terry Wayne Fletcher; daughter, Pamela Faye (Steve) Winstead;
grandchildren, Krista (Jim), Karrah, Klarisa and Kyle; great grandchildren,
Tyler and Kaedyn; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the
funeral home chapel with Ministers, Gene Bagby, Joe Hill and Randy Thomas
officiating with burial to follow in the Welker Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00

12/27/17 — Grady Lee Cossey

Grady Lee Cossey, of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, December 22,
2017 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga at the age of 84 years.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10 AM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Summitville Cemetery.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from
5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Cossey, a native of Franklin County, was the son of the late Harvey D
and Olive Lee Tant Cossey. He was a U S Army veteran and retired in 1995
from Batesville Casket Company. After retirement he worked for many years
at Manchester Funeral Home and Coffee County Funeral Chapel. He attended
the Christian Lighthouse Church. Mr. Cossey loved being outdoors and
enjoyed walking, riding bicycles and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jerry
Cossey; one brother, Wayne Cossey and two sisters, June Massingill and
Lottie Quick.

Mr. Cossey is survived by his loving wife, Joan Mae Brazier Cossey of
Manchester; three sons, James Cossey and his wife, Janice of Manchester,
Jeff Cossey and his wife, Sherry of Manchester and Tony Cossey and his
wife, Deanna of Tullahoma; one brother Euless Cossey and his wife, Martha
of Estill Springs; three sisters, Mary Stephens of Winchester, Martha Ann
King of Winchester and Gladys Wiseman of Estill Springs; six grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.

12/27/17–James Raymond Flores

James Raymond Florez, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, December
20, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 47 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood
Cemetery. Visitation
with the family will begin at 12 PM on Wednesday.

Mr. Florez, a native of El Cajon, CA was born on September 18, 1970. He
was an excellent musician and enjoyed playing his guitar. He also loved
being outdoors and fishing. Foremost was his love of being a father and
spending time with his children.

Mr. Florez was preceded in death by his wife, Brandy Beard Florez and one
daughter, Carol Ann Florez.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra O’Connor of Tullahoma; fiancé’,
Cindy
Butler of Hillsboro; two sons, James Raymond Florez Jr and Jacob Mathew
Florez, both of Tullahoma; daughters, Allison Jade Clark and her husband,
Steven of Tullahoma and Elizabeth Mae Florez of Franklin County; brothers,
Bill Kirk of Marshall, IL and Wade Frazier of Tullahoma; sisters, Jennie
Thompson and her husband, Shawn of Lawrenceburg and Rebecca Ann Tomlin and
her husband, Richie of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Bentley, Coulton
and Bailey and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
