1/16/17–Wade Samuel Prince

Mr. Wade Samuel Prince, age 90 of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Manchester Healthcare Center. He was born on September 13, 1927 in Waynesboro, TN to the late Floyd and Lula Viola Prince.

Wade retired as a truck driver from Time DC. He enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Lafaye Smith; son, Michael Wade Prince; daughter, Debbie Jeffers. Survived by his wife, Eleanor Prince; son, Larry Daniel Prince; daughter, Janet Lafaye Willis; step-daughter, Debra Diane Hill; brother, Charles Edward Prince; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date.

1/19/18–Mary Alice Tuck

Funeral services for Mary Alice Tuck, age 46, of Estill Springs, TN, will
be conducted at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Manchester Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Presbyterian Church
Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM
on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Mary passed away on
Monday, January 15, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Harton in Tullahoma, TN.

1/19/18–Frances M. Haley

Frances M Haley, formerly of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday,
January 13, 2018 at the Bridge at Hickory Woods in Antioch at the age of 92
years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, January 19 at 1 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 18, 2019
from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Haley was the daughter of the late James and Mary Aileen Colyar Martin.
She worked as a telephone operator for many years. She was a member of the
First Christian Church of Tullahoma and had been attending the Antioch
Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing embroidery and reading. Mrs. Haley
had a “green thumb” and enjoyed working in her garden. She also loved
her
cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James
Haley; two brothers, Donald Martin and Richard Martin and one sister,
Lucille Martin.

Mrs. Martin is survived by one sister, Carol Pyle and her husband, Wayne of
LaVergne, TN; one brother, Kenneth Martin and his wife, Patsy of Manito,
IL; sister-in-law, Bridgett Martin of Tullahoma; special niece, Maribeth
Towle and her husband, Andrew of Murfreesboro; special nephew, James Pyle
and his wife, Laurie of Franklin and many other nieces and nephew.

1/17/18 — Freddie Gene Waits

Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Gene Waits, age 90, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Coffee
County Funeral Chapel with J.T. Jordan and Joseph Johnston, Jr.
officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation with
the family will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral
home. Mr. Waits passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at McArthur
Manor in Manchester, TN.

Freddie was born in Mt. Orab, OH, the son of the late Luther Floyd and
Urah Smith Waits. He served his country in the United States Navy.
Freddie was a foreman for Unistrut and a former deputy and judicial
commissioner for the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member
of Canvas Community Church and enjoyed gardening and birdwatching.

In addition to his parents, Freddie was also preceded in death by his
wife, Wilma Jean Hershman Waits. He is survived by one daughter, Heather
(Chris) Swann; two step sons, Vance Creek and Craig Nedoff; three step
daughters, Pamela (Joseph) Johnston, Sherry (Dennis) Burke, and Denise
Arnold; several brothers and sisters; and several grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

1/18/18 — Joe Ned Brandon

Funeral services for Mr. Joe Ned Brandon, age 76 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Rick Clouse officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Brandon passed away on January 13, 2018 at Unity Medical Center.

Mr. Brandon was born on November 11, 1941 in Manchester to the late Malcolm W. and Audry Smartt Brandon. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed by CDS and was an Agriculture Economist for the Department of Agriculture. He loved being a grandpa, working in the yard and gardening. Joe was a great story teller, was very kind-hearted, and was always there if you needed something.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Brandon. Survived by his sons, Keven Brandon and Stephen Brandon (Shannon); daughter, Shari Brandon; sister, Shirley Swearengen; brothers, Truman Brandon, Dwight Brandon; step-son, Timothy Driver; step-daughters, Kyrsten Smith and Whitley Driver; 9 grandchildren.

Juanelle Faye St. John

Ms. Juanelle Faye St. John, age 85, of Manchester, TN passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. Juanelle was born in Coffee Co., TN, the daughter of the late Benjamin Ernest and Pauline St. John. She was an accounting clerk for AEDC for over 40 years. She was a member of the Manchester Arts Commission, supported the Manchester Arts Center, and was a big Atlanta Braves fan.

In addition to her parents, Juanelle is also preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin St. John, Jr.; one sister, Betty St. John Beebe; and one niece, Theresa Beebe Murphy. She is survived by two nieces, Cathy (Charles) Beebe Carter and Lynn (Bill) Beebe Grisard; one great-niece, Kayla (Steven) Carter Curfman; one nephew, Matthew Carter.

Lois Sewell Hartman of Estill Springs, passed this life on Sunday, January
14, 2018 at her residence at the age of 91 years. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Thursday, January 18 at 11 AM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at New Center Grove Church of Christ
Cemetery. Visitation
with the family will be Wednesday, January 17, 2019 from 5 – 8 PM at the
funeral home.

Mrs. Hartman was the daughter of the late William Osie and Piccola Marie
Perry Sewell. She was born on June 27, 1926. During WW II, Lois and her
sisters went to Mobile, AL and went to work making airplanes for the war.
She
was a member of New Center Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting,
collecting antiques, hunting for arrowheads, camping, fishing and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
William Douglas Hartman Sr; brothers, James and Cordell Sewell and sisters,
Margaret Waggoner and Marie Norton.

She is survived by her sons, William D Hartman Jr. and his wife, Mitzi Rae
of Estill Springs, Randy Hartman and his wife, Dee of Estill Springs and
Phillip Hartman and his wife, Michaele of Tullahoma; daughter, Connie Marie
Woosley and her husband, Claude of Moore County; nine grandchildren; twelve
great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

1/18/18 — Bethel Eli Elliott

BETHEL ELI ELLIOTT, age 87, of Manchester, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester following an extended illness. Mr. Elliott was born in Estill Fork, Ala. to the late Virgil Elliott and Mary Lee Owensby Elliott on December 16, 1930. Mr. Elliott was a self-employed welder and the owner of B&M Welding in Estill Springs for fifty years. He was at one time the owner of Lakeview Restaurant at Woods Reservoir. Mr. Elliott’s hobbies were fishing, welding and in his younger years, dancing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Elliott was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie. He is survived by his daughters; Joyce Anderson and husband Jesse of Manchester, Lisa Kleiner of Manchester, Connie Powers of Winchester, son, Mark Elliott and wife, Cassandra of Winchester, brothers; Luther Elliott of LaVerne, TN and Kenneth Elliott of Winchester. 14-Grandchildren, 11-Great-Grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow in the Estill Springs Cemetery.

Breezy Wyldflower McCutcheon of Decherd, passed this life on Friday,
January 12, 2018 at the age of 3 months. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Tuesday, January 16 at 12 PM at the Church of Restoration in Cowan with
burial to follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery. The family will begin
receiving visitors at 5 PM on Monday, January 15 at the Church of
Restoration.
Breezy was born on September 20, 2017 in Winchester, Tennessee. She was the
daughter of Aaron McCutcheon and Allison Hall, both of Decherd. She was
preceded in death by paternal great great grandparents, John and Viola
Pendergrass and maternal great grandfather, Lonnie Morris.
In addition to her parents, Breezy is survived by brother, Blaze Micah
Sholey; sister, Gabriella Laveah Skyy McCutcheon; paternal grandparents,
Bridget Goins of Winchester and Tony McCutcheon of Kentucky; paternal
grandfather Gary Campbell of Monteagle; maternal grandparents, Monica and
Darrell Parker of Alto; paternal great grandparents, Jerry and Joann
Stephens of Winchester and Mark and Linda Hill of Estill Springs; maternal
great grandparents, Teresa Brewer of Winchester and Larry Elliot of
Winchester and several aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins.

1/18/18 — Terry Russell Grubaugh

Terry Russell Grubaugh, age 63, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday,
January 12, 2018 at his residence. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial to
follow at Smith’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January
17, from 5 – 8 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.

A native of Ypsilanti, MI, he was the son of the late Kenneth Dale Grubaugh
and Mary Ruth Roland Broderick of Fayetteville. Mr. Grubaugh was a
carpenter and enjoyed doing carpentry and electrical work. He also enjoyed
fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dirk
and Monte Grubaugh.

Mr. Grubaugh is survived by his mother and step father, Mary Ruth and
Robert Broderick of Fayetteville; three sons, Dennis Grubaugh and his wife,
Kim of Decatur, AL, Jamie Grubaugh of Fayetteville and Samuel Hardesty of
Michigan; half brother, Thomas Grubaugh of Fayetteville and step brothers,
Mike Jordan of Ypsilanti, MI and Andrew Broderick and his wife, Christy of
Colon, MI; half sister, Kelley Grubaugh of Ypsilanti, MI and step sisters,
Cheryl Jordan of Ypsilanti, MI and Susan Broderick of Lincoln Park, MI and
six grandchildren.
