2/22/18–JoAnn Holt Posey
JoAnn Holt Posey of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home at the age of 71. Mrs. Posey was born in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Lawson Lee and Johnnie Geneva Jett Holt. During her life, Mrs. Posey worked as a Physical Education teacher for Tullahoma City Schools and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She also loved gardening, decorating, and cooking. Mrs. Posey is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Mike Posey of Tullahoma; two daughters, Kristin Posey Wood and her husband Joshua of Tullahoma, and Meredith Posey Ham of Paducah , Kentucky; five sisters, Patsy Brady of Columbia, Jean Sims and her husband Billy of Culleoka, Linda Crawford and her husband Phil of Murfreesboro, Mary Watson and her husband Ronnie of Mint Hill, North Carolina, and Donna Whitley and her husband Robert of Culleoka; five grandchildren, Kimberly Berry of Tullahoma, Sierra Johnson of Winchester, Natalie and Megan Fibelkorn of Manchester, and Posey Grace Wood of Tullahoma; her God-daughter, Michelle Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina; and her step-mother in law, Sarah Butler Posey. Visitation for Mrs. Posey will be held on Wednesday, February 21st from 4:00-7:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Thursday, February 22nd at 2:30pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tim Mcgehee officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Frankie Sims, Scottie Sims, Brian Crawford, Josh Posey, Ben Posey and Lance Watson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the City of Tullahoma Sports Council, 201 West Grundy Street, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.
2/22/18 — Charles “Chuck” Ray Partin
Charles “Chuck” Ray Partin of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday,
February 19, 2018 at his residence at the age of 63 years. Funeral
services are scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2 PM with burial
to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning
at 12 PM on Thursday.
A native of Harvey, IL, Mr. Partin was born on October 27, 1954 to the late
Albert and Geraldine Brown Partin. He loved playing softball and coaching
Little League baseball. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. His
favorite times were spent with his family. He was also well known for his
skills as an auto body repairman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn
Cook and Lillian Partin.
Mr. Partin is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Burton Partin of
Tullahoma; son, Charles Ray Partin Jr of Tullahoma; daughter, Joy Partin of
Tullahoma; brother, Bill Partin and his wife, Betty of Winchester; sisters,
Pat Hooker and her husband, Ronnie of Tullahoma and Dawn Roberts and her
husband, Joe of Hillsboro; grandchild, Stefan Roulett and several nieces
and nephews.

2/19/18 — John David Curtis
John David Curtis, age 77 passed away Friday morning, February 16, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. His loving wife, children and grandchildren were at his bedside when he went peacefully to his eternal home in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his father Will Curtis, mother Kate Curtis, daughter Tammy Curtis and wife Carolyn Curtis. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Bob Curtis and sisters Pauline Curtis, Willie Levan, Hazel Terry and Frances (Babe) Nunley.
He is survived by his loving wife Nona Gail Curtis, son Kevin and Tasha Curtis, daughters Tina and Paul Harris, Amy and Greg Jones and Cindy and Troy Bryant, and mother-in-law Katherine Trussell, grandchildren Ashley, Alex, and Alyssa Harris, Mason and Madison Curtis, Brycen Davis, Bailey, Morgan and Madison Jones, Ashley Starks, and Garrett Bryant, great grandchildren Brooklynn and Gracelynn Bryant, brother Charlie Curtis, sisters Patsy and Nelson Brown and Ann Wiley. Along with dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends Kenneth King and Denny Sweeton.
John retired from Tyson Foods after over 40 years. He was a 1961 Graduate of Grundy County High School. He went to proudly serve his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. While in the Army he received commendations as an expert rifleman and heavy missile operations. John loved his church and was a deacon at Myers Hill Church for many years. He was well known for the love of his God, his church and his family. A devoted husband and father. A humble, gentle, loving and giving man that will be missed by so many who is now in the loving arms of his savior, Jesus Christ.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Myers Hill Church, with Bro. Dennis Rollins, Bro. Freddie Savage and Bro. Barry Nolan officiating, with interment at Burns Cemetery immediately following, with Military Honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will also be held at Myers Hill Church, Sunday from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Arrangements have been made with Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
2/20/18 — James Ellison Casey
Funeral services for Mr. James Ellison Casey, age 85, of Manchester, will be conducted on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1PM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 10AM until service time. Mr. Casey passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Casey was born on December 24, 1932 to the late Roy and Marie Casey. He was a member of First Baptist church. He enjoyed tin can art, wood working, fishing, and riding bicycles.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Casey is preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Casey. Mr. Casey is survived by his loving wife, Janis Casey; two daughters, Michele (Craig) Abbott and Lynn (Scott) Koon; One brother, Gene Casey; two sisters, Mary Quigley and Helen (Bud) Davis; five grandchildren, Laurisa (Tyler) Cupp, Christy Abbott, Ryan Abbott, Cody Koon, and Amanda; four great grandchildren; Skylar, Zabri, Carter, and Emma, and numerous nieces and nephews.

2/18/18 — Medford Donnell, Jr.
Medford Donnell Jr., of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, February
15, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 82 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Sunday, February 18, at 2 PM at the chapel of
Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation with
the family will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 12 – 2 PM at Lynchburg
Funeral Home.
Mr. Donnell, a native of Rutherford County, was the son of the late Alton
M. Donnell and the late Nannie Lee Bowman Donnell. He and his wife,
Elloween lived in the Flat Creek area of Bedford County for many years.
They
were members of the gospel singing group the Bethairs for many years. He
was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Mr. Donnell enjoyed fishing,
camping, gardening, reading, watching sports and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, William
Spencer Donnell, Edgar Miller Donnell and Randy Donnell; daughter, Elloween
Marie Donnell; brother, Johnny Fred Donnell and sister, Avis Joann Rowland.
Mr. Donnell is survived by his loving wife, Sara Elloween Cates Donnell of
Tullahoma; son, John Wesley Donnell and his wife, Karen of Tullahoma;
daughter, Virginia Ann Donnell and her husband, Chris Haseleu of Smyrna;
sisters, Edna Lee Barnes and her husband, Alton of Shelbyville and Joyce
Marie Cunningham of Shelbyville and five grandchildren, Mandy Loftus of
Hillsboro, Josh Donnell of Lewisburg, Joel Donnell of Murfreesboro,
Jonathan Donnell of Shelbyville and Jeremy Donnell of Shelbyville.

Glynda G Johnson of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, February 14,
2018 at the age of 61 years. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday,
February 18, 2018 at 2 PM with burial to follow at Mt Garner Cemetery. The
family will receive friends beginning at 12 PM on Sunday.
“Our sweet sister passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at home with
her family around her. Glynda was born at Queen City Hospital on September
7, 1956 to Ollie Louise Anderson and Guy Anderson, Sr. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell “Sarge”
Johnson;
brothers, Polk “Andy” Anderson, Frank Anderson, Fred “Buck” Anderson, Guy
Anderson, Jr., and Jim Anderson and sister, Rebecca Sherrill. She is
survived by brother, Stan Anderson and his wife, Ona of Estill Springs and
sisters, Joyce Kidd and her husband, Ronnie and Sherry Holt.”
“Glynda lived her life to the beat of her own drum and had a unique
personality. She would do anything for anyone. She had a kind heart and
loved her nieces and nephews. She loved for company to come over and
always wanted to give some kind of token to them when they left, whether it
be food or some kind of trinket. She enjoyed playing cards with her
sister, Joyce and whoever won was always accused of cheating. She was a
big cutup and loved saying things to get a reaction out of you. Glynda
will be greatly missed by so many.”

2/19/18 — Dale Wright
Dale Wright, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday, February 15, 2018
at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 72 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Monday, February 19, 2018, at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation
with the family will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5 – 8 PM.
Mr. Wright, a native of Ft. Worth, Texas, was the son of the late General
Albert and Doris Beatrice Hall Wright. He attended First Nazarene Church
of Tullahoma. He was a machinist and enjoyed fishing. He was also an artist
and enjoyed carving walking sticks. He was a “Cowboy at Heart” and
enjoyed
watching western movies, reading western novels and playing his guitar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy
Wright.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Grubbs Wright of Tullahoma; two
sons, Joseph Wright of Tullahoma and Jimmy Dale Wright and his wife, Amanda
of Tullahoma; daughter, Darla Jean Wright and her wife, Cindy of New
Braunfels, TX; brother, Charles Albert Wright of Mansfield, TX; sister,
Judy Rodique and her husband, Eddie of Mansfield, TX and four
grandchildren, Collin, Andrew, Connor and Hayley Wright.

2/18/18 — Raymond Leon Jones
Jones, Raymond Leon, of Estill Springs, passed this life on
Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in
Murfreesboro at the age of 86. Born in Estill Springs on November 22,
1931 to Raymond and Nannie Lee Jones, he spent the majority of his work
career as a farmer, Supervisor at Stanley Tools and a member of the 251st
Quartermaster Unit of the National Guard. He was also a member of Estill
Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Jones loved his family and will
always be remembered as a life long farmer who enjoyed his farm and
cattle. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emma Jane Leech Jones of
Estill Springs; two children, Brent Jones (Diana) of Mt. Juliet and
Brenna Ficken (Rob) of Estill Springs; and four grandchildren, Olivia and
Delaney Beavers and Halle and Taylor Jones. Visitation will be held on
Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at 2:00pm in
the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dewey Smith and Joe Rutherford
officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Estill

2/17/18–Reuben D. White (Puncho)
Funeral Services for Mr. Reuben D. White (Puncho), age 52, of Tullahoma will be conducted Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 o’clock at The Revival Center Family Church, on East Lincoln Street in Tullahoma with Pastor Jonathan Young and Ralph White, a cherished uncle, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 o’clock until time for the service at the church. Mr. White was born July 21, 1965 in Manchester, Tennessee, the son of the late William Henry Braston, Jr. and Edith Marie White Hamilton and was a native of Tullahoma, Tennessee. He departed this life February 9, 2018 after an extended illness. Puncho was always known for his jovial personality and captivating smile. He was a protector of his siblings and he loved his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted and cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews and admired by his friends. 2/16/18–Christopher Michael Lundquist
Mr. Christopher Michael Lundquist, 60, passed away, Monday
February 12, 2018 at the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee with his family at his bedside. He was born in Manchester on
December 17, 1957 to Charles Mervin and Lucille Verna Sandstrom Lundquist
who preceded him in death.
He was a Instrumentation Technichian at AEDC and a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona Jones Lundquist; daughter and
son-in-law, Cassie and Levi Devente of Knoxville, Tennessee; brothers,
Jonathan Mark (Lee Ann) Lundquist, Manchester and David Matthew Lundquist,
Murfreesboro; loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday February 16, 2018 at 5:00 PM in
