3/31/18 — Kimberly Ruth Brown
Kimberly Ruth Brown, of Shelbyville, passed this life on Monday, March 26,
2018 at the age of 34 years. Memorial Services are scheduled for Saturday,
March 31 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
A native of Shelbyville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Claude Scales
and the late Renee Brown. She was employed as a Machine Operator at
National Pen Company in Shelbyville.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, John McGregor of Sumter, SC; sons,
John Daniel White-McGregor III and Jude Dawayne White-McGregor; daughters,
Jaqlyn O’Neil and Genesis Denise White-McGregor and one sister, Shawn
Denise Payne of Murfreesboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations for the children would be greatly appreciated.

3/31/18 — Michael Wayne Phillips
Funeral services for Mr. Michael Wayne Phillips, age 51, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Franklin, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2018. Mr. Phillips passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 27, at St. Thomas – Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.
Michael was born in Nashville, TN, the son of Nathaniel and Pamela Phillips. He worked at Batesville Casket Company. Michael was a very caring person. He never met a stranger, and he would do anything for anyone. He had a way of making everyone feel special. Michael was a huge Alabama and Dallas Cowboy’s fan, and he loved to cook. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, and brother.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel. He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Phillips; son, Michael Phillips; two daughters, Brooke (Cole Gaultney) Phillips and Elizabeth (Lee Richards) Phillips; mother, Pamela Phillips; four sisters, Michelle Phillips Minton, Danielle Phillips, Kelly Kell, and Holly (Scott) Troglen; one grandson, Kace Richards.

3/30/18 — Edward Shirley Hawkersmith
Edward Shirley Hawkersmith of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, March
27, 2018 at his residence at the age of 91 years. Graveside Services are
scheduled for Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2 PM at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 12 PM – 1:30 PM at
Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home.
Mr. Hawkersmith, a native of Franklin County, was the son of the late
Clarence and Onzlee Austell Hawkersmith. He was a U S Navy veteran and
served in WW II. He was a pilot and loved flying, even owning his own plane.
He also enjoyed fishing, listening to Blue Grass music and watching old
western TV shows and movies. He was also a Mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Betty
Ryans Hawkersmith and Mildred Gwen Hawkersmith; sister, Pauline Casteel and
two great grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Gary Hawkersmith of Tullahoma; three daughters,
Sherry Lee Baltimore and her husband, Randall of Tullahoma, Patty McGaha
and her husband, Tony of Lebanon and Becky Hawkersmith of Tullahoma; nine
grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

3/28/18 — Roxie Anna Redfern Hodge
Hodge, Roxie Anna Redfern, age 95, of Winchester, departed this life
on Monday, March 26th, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hodge was born on December 21st, 1922 to the late Robert Lee Redfern
and Fannie Mae Ogg Redfern in Coffee County. She was a homemaker and
loved to sew, cook, garden, plant flowers, go to yard sales, collect
dolls and most of all, spend time with her family. She was of the Baptist
faith and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Hodge was a loving
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She
will be greatly missed by her family and remembered as a kind,
compassionate and loving woman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hodge
was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Hodge; her son, Eddie
Lee Hodge; sisters, Nola Mae Redfern Cogdon and Betty Redfern Walwin; and
brothers, Harold Redfern, Charles Redfern, Robert Redfern and William
Choat Redfern. She is survived by her daughters, Elna Mae Howard of
Wincheter, Martha Lou Sells of Cowan and Susan Shannon and her husband
James of Manchester; her sons, Fred Hodge and his wife Rebecca of
McMinnville, James W. Hodge and his wife Beverly of Morrison; 18
grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren;
one brother, Bill Redfern and his wife Margie; two sisters, Louise
Redfern Fowler and Charlotte Iris; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends. Visitation for Mrs. Hodge will be held on Tuesday, March 27th,
2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be
held on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Daniel
Hodge, Clay Burt, Jon Bean, Gary Scott, Dennis Poff and Michael Shannon
acting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Farrar, Garrett
Farrar and Caleb Shannon.

3/31/18 — Robert Gerald Fountain
Memorial services for Mr. Robert Gerald Fountain, age 78, of Tullahoma,
TN, will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at
Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donald Fountain officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the
funeral home. Mr. Fountain passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at
Alvin C York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.
Mr. Fountain was born in Paradise, Montana, the son of the late Ward and
Julia Parish Fountain. He served his country in the United States Naval
Blockade during the Cuban Missile Crisis on the USS Albany (CG-10). He
also served on Yosemite (AD-19) and the Grand Canyon (AD-28). Robert
worked his way up through the banking industry to VP level before turning
his attention to other industries where he served as GM of various
manufacturing facilities, and was a member of the Lord’s family and a
deacon of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma, TN. He enjoyed woodworking,
model trains, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by two
brothers, Arch and Earl Fountain; three sisters, June Blakenship, Shirley
Newlin, and Dorothy Everett. He is survived by his loving wife of 57
years, Sharon Everson Fountain; three daughters, Lisa (Manuel) Cervantez,
Melissa (Paul) Collette, and Julie (Randy) Hood; one brother, Donald
Fountain; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations to the Disabled American Veterans
(DAV.org).

Roy Lee Crouch of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Crouch, a native of Manchester, TN, was the son of the late Roy Cecil Crouch and Janie Marie Johnson Crouch who survives. He was the warehouse supervisor for Elk River Public Utility, a member of Grace Outdoors and a member of the Vine Street Church of God.
Mr. Crouch was preceded in death by his father, Roy Cecil Crouch, and sister: Mary Kay Crouch.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Crouch; mother, Janie Crouch, son: Logan Crouch, Daughter: Cassidy Crouch, Sister: Jenny Crouch England and husband John, Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law: Bob and Patsy Baker, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

3/24/18 — Lynville Ray Trail
Lynville Ray Trail, age 68, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at St.
Thomas Stones River ER. He was a native of Cannon Co.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 48 years, Nancy King Trail
of Bradyville; Sons, Lynn & Krista Trail & Bradley Trail, both of
Bradyville; Granddaughters, Kaitlynn & Kathryn Trail, both of Bradyville;
Sisters, Pam Clark & Karen (James) Harris of Manchester; and Special
Sisters-in-law, Martha Taylor & Betty West.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Lydia Campbell Trail; and
his brother, Donnie Trail.
Mr. Trail was a devoted member of the Lumley Stand Church of Christ and
loved his church family. He was retired from General Electric after 34
years, and currently worked at Manchester Builder’s Supply. He was an avid
fisherman.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Chapel of
Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Paul Sullivan & Brian Pitts officiating.
Interment will follow at Gnat Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family
will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday, March 23, 2018.
Pallbearers include Brent Sain, Silas Vaughn, Sawyer Vaughn, Ethan Crouch,
Kaleb Crouch, Byron Sullivan, David Carr, & Jacob Raines.
Honorary Pallbeares include Brad Sain, James Smith, J.C. Jones, & Doyle

3/24/18–Robert James Giacoletti
Robert James Giacoletti of Tullahoma passed this life on Sunday, March
18, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the age of 80. Mr.
Giacoletti was born in San Pedro, CA to the late Anthony and Mildred
Evans Giacoletti. During his life, Mr. Giacoletti served his country in
the United States Army, and he later was the owner of Giacoletti Music,
and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Mr. Giacoletti
is survived by his wife Eleanor Sanders Giacoletti of Tullahoma; one son,
Mark Giacoletti and his wife Heidi of Nazareth, PA; two daughters, Beth
Kenworthy and her husband Andrew of Tullahoma, and Suzanne Pilmaier and
her husband Dan of Lockhart, TX; ten grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23rd, 2018
at Kilgore Funeral Home from 3:00-5:00pm. A funeral mass for Mr.
Giacoletti will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at 11:00am at St.
Paul’s Church with Father Stephen Klasek officiating. For those who wish,

3/23/18 — Benjamin Starks, Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Benjamin Marshall Starks, Jr., age 64, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018, at the First Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Starks passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Horizon Health Care in Manchester.

Anthony S. Bandy
Mr. Anthony Stuart Bandy, 50, entered into rest March 21, 2018. A service
will be determined at a later date.
Mr. Bandy was a native of Tennessee having made Columbia, SC his home for
35 years. He worked at Anderson Distribution for over 25 years and was a
truck driver for Big G Trucking. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles and
carpentry.
He was the son of the late Mary Ann Oler and the late Wayne Oler.
Survivors include: Sister, Loria Cash; nieces, Kourtney Pickett and her
husband, KC and their kids, Jaxson and Paisley; nephew, Troy Cash and his
wife, Samantha and their son Avery and special friends, Michelle and Donald
Walker.
