4/14/18 — Pamela Jane James

Graveside service for Mrs. Pamela Jane James, age 71 of Manchester, will be
held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 12 Noon at Farrar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 – 11:30 AM at Central
Funeral Home. Mrs. James passed away suddenly at Centennial Hospital in
Nashville on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Pamela Jane Kurtsinger James was born on August 22, 1946, to the late
Michael Kurtsinger and Doris Gill Kurtsinger in Louisville, KY. She loved
horse racing and genealogy. She was an assistant horse trainer.
In addition to her parents, Pam is preceded in death by her daughter,
Jill Angela James.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Arnold James; son,
Patrick James and wife, Susan of Pelham; two daughters, Michele Freeze
and husband, Ralph, of Manchester, and Kaye Reed and husband, Eric, of
Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren, Christina, Pamela, and Elizabeth
Freeze, Hunter, Lyndsy, Martha, and Jessie Reed; one great grandchild,
Gracie Creech; two brothers, Charles and Mike Kurtsinger; and two
sisters, Ginny Collins and Patricia Smith, several nieces and nephews,
and a host of friends.

4/13/18 — Verlon Eugene Jones

Funeral services for Mr. Verlon Eugene Jones, age 79, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charley Carmack officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 12 at the funeral home. Mr. Jones passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester, TN.

Verlon was born in Manchester, TN to the late John and Lottie Jones. He was a self-employed brick mason and cabinet maker, and he was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. Verlon loved being outdoors going hunting, fishing, or riding four wheelers. In June he and his wife, Wilma, would have been married for 58 years.

In addition to his parents, Verlon is also preceded in death by one grandson, Derek “Tom” Harryman; and one sister, Carolyn Cole. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Jones; one son, Scott (Kitty) Jones; one daughter, Lori (Jim) Harryman; four sisters, Katherine (Porter) Fults, Frances (Fred) O’Kelley, Peggy (Truman) Brandon, and Jonnie Jones; and three grandchildren, Jason Jones, Jared Jones, and Kalee Harryman.

4/13/18 — Erma “Jean” Hevener

Erma “Jean” Hevener, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, April 10,
2018 at her residence at the age of 79 years. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Friday, April 13 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home
with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will
receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon until the service time.

A native of Marianna, FL, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and
Lucille Dykes Mears. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and
enjoyed working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed raising her
children and grandchildren. She was a great cook and especially like to
bake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James
Edward Hevener; a brother, James Wayne Mears and two sisters, Estelle
Bishop and Doris Alday.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Hevener of Tullahoma; three sons,
Darren Reynolds and his wife, Connie of Centerburg, OH, Donald Keith
Hevener Jr and his wife, Jerri of Manchester and David Lyle Hevener and his
wife, Margaret of Tullahoma; three daughters, Sandi Largin of Tullahoma,
Kim Reynolds and her husband, Tim of Panama City, FL and Lynda Hevener of
Chattanooga; brother, Ralph Mears of Marianna, FL; sisters, Martha Jo
Rogers and her husband, Donnie of Cypress, FL and Marsha Conrad and her
husband, Steve of Cypress, FL; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great
grandchildren.

4/12/18 — Samuel Dexter McAllister

Mr. Samuel Dexter McAllister, 50, passed away unexpectedly
Saturday April 8, 2018 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born
in Scottsboro, Alabama on July 10, 1967. He was preceded in death by his
mother, Nancy Jo Parker; step-mother, Janelle Gooch McAllister.

He was of the Catholic faith and was employed by Autozone in Manchester.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Sam and Judy McAllister of
Manchester; brother, Mark McAllister, Huntsville, Alabama; step-brother,
Joseph Hobbs, Manchester; step-brother, Michael Forehand, McKinney, Texas;
step-sister, Elizabeth Alexander, Orlando, Florida; special friend, Laney
Cunningham Winstead, and her children, Jillian Winstead Abed, Jenna
Winstead, and Dylan Winstead.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with
Rev. Stephen A. Klasek officiating with burial to follow in the Forest Mill

4/12/18 — Patsy Jane Harmon

Mrs. Patsy Jane Harmon, 68, passed away Monday April 9, 2018 at
the NHC Healthcare in Tullahoma. She was born in Manchester, Tennessee on
July 28, 1949 to Everett R. and Maude Louise Scruggs Allen who preceded her
in death along with her husband, Jimmy Ross Harmon; brother, Donnie Allen;
sister Wanda Bailey.

She was a member of the Summitville Methodist Church. She was a homemaker
and was a lifelong resident of Coffee County.

She is survived by her sons, Jamie (Serena) Harmon and Jason Harmon;
sisters, Vivian Benson, Gloria (David) Brown and Malinda Taylor; brothers,
Bobby (Sue), Gary (Janice), John and Tommy (Carol) Allen; grandchildren,
Jonathan Ross Harmon and Alexis Harmon; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Thursday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with Minister Barry Phipps officiating with burial to follow in the

Donald Dwayne Hill

Donald Dwayne Hill, age 70, passed away after an extensive battle with
cancer at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital on April 8, 2018. He was
surrounded by his loving family.

Donald was born May 3, 1947, in Coffee County, TN to the late Will and
Willie Mae Hill. He was a construction worker until he became disabled
to work. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hiking. But most
of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen Hill; one son,
Ricky (Megan) Hill; grandchildren, Cody (Kayla) Hill, Hunter Hill,
Miranda McKenzie, Peyton McKenzie; and great-grandson, Leighton Hill; his
twin brother, Ronald (Sue) Hill and several other brother-in-laws,
sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

4/14/18 — Gene Allen Floreani

Gene Allen Floreani of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, April 5,
2018 at his residence at the age of 64 years. A Funeral Mass is scheduled
for Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic
Church.

Mr. Floreani, a native of Chicago, IL, was the son of the late Geno
Floreani and the late Lorraine Woods. He was a U S Marine veteran and a
supervisor for ADT Security. He was an international internet disc jockey
and enjoyed playing poker on the internet. He was an avid Chicago Bears
fan and was a history buff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy
Williamson.

Mr. Floreani is survived by his wife, Christine Floreani of Tullahoma;
daughter, Jorie Clifton of Zion, IL; brothers, Joe Costello of Arizona,
Mike Woods and his wife, Judy of Des Plaines, IL and Jerry Woods of
Alabama; sisters, Shirlee Bailey and her husband, Kyle of Lowell, IN, Trudy
Krupin Zengler and her husband, Richard of Coral Springs, FL and Barb
Canady and her wife, Sherry of Lowell, IN.

4/9/18–Allen Eugene Wilson

Allen Eugene Wilson of Manchester passed this life on Sunday, April 8, 2018
at Unity Medical Center in Manchester at the age of 66 years. No services
are scheduled.

Mr. Wilson, a native of Shelbyville, was the son of the late John and
Gladys Hill Wilson. He was a construction worker and enjoyed going to yard
sales and flea markets. He also enjoyed buildings things.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-sister,
Regina.

He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Carole Garland of Manchester.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Van Meter, age 79, of Livonia, MI will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Mrs. Van Meter passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Joyce was born in Coffee County, TN the daughter of the late Woodrow and Hazel Hawks. She was a long-time member of the Plymouth Church of Christ in Plymouth, MI, and she loved to travel with her husband and daughter.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Martha (Harold) Van Meter. She is survived by her loving husband, Milton Lee Van Meter; one daughter, Amy Van Meter; one brother, Kenneth Hawks; one sister, Betty (Dale) Harden; and many nieces and nephews.

4/8/18 — Rebecca Hostetler

Rebecca Alice Gould Hostetler passed this life on Tuesday April 3, 2018 in Nashville at the age of 37. Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves- Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM.
Mrs. Hostetler, a native of Beaver, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of the late Gary Gould and Mary O. Gould who survives. She was a clerk at the True Value Hardware in Inglewood, TN. Mrs. Hostetler was a tattoo artist, enjoyed art and drawing and was a counselor for Alcoholic Anonymous.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alisha Grace Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, Aaron Hostetler of New Brighton, PA; her mother, Mary O Gould of Beaver County, PA; Daughter, Kaylene Hostetler of Manchester, TN. Son: Michael Hostetler of Beaver PA, Maternal Grand-mother: Mary Alice Pfeiffer of Freedom, PA, Sisters: Cassandra “Cassie” Chotiner of Ambridge, PA and Teresa Gould of Lockport, NY, Brother: William “Bill” Bailey of Potter Township, PA, 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
