4/27/18 — Daniel Paul Gassman

Joint funeral services for Daniel Paul Gassman, age 21 of Texas, formerly
of Hillsboro, and Gwenn Savannah Corey Marie Freeze, also of Texas,
formerly of Manchester, will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, at 2 PM
at New Life Church in Manchester on Asbury Rd. with Brother Jonathan
Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, April 26th from 5-8
PM at Central Funeral Home and from 10 AM until time of service on Friday
at New Life Church. Daniel passed away on Monday 23rd in AL after a
tragic car accident.
Daniel was born on August 20, 1996, to Nathan and Janie Gipson Gassman in
Nashville, TN. He was a high school graduate of Coffee County Central
High School in 2015. He loved baseball, hiking, kayaking, working out,
playing with his nephews, Levi Avery and Ayden LeLusche, playing his sax,
and hanging out with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his brother, Timothy
Gassman and his wife Stephanie of Murfreesboro; sisters, Hannah Avery and
husband Michael, and Joy LeLusche and husband Scott, both of Manchester;
and a host of family and friends.

4/26/18 — Rebecca Lynn Haggard

Graveside services for Rebecca Lynn Haggard, age 70, of Manchester, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 with Bro. Benny Benjamin. Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Thursday at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Ms. Haggard passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Rebecca was born in Maryville, TN, the daughter of the late William Jackson, Jr. and Juanita M. Phelps Jackson, who survives. Rebecca was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She worked at Hylabrook Antique Mall in Murfreesboro, TN for many years. Rebecca loved antiques and enjoyed photography and taking care of family.

In addition to her father, Rebecca was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joy Leann Haggard; and one sister, Teresa Karen. She is survived by her mother; one daughter, Delight Haggard; and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.

4/22/18–John Frederick Rovsek, III

Graveside services for Mr. John Frederick Rovsek, III, age 74, were
conducted at 10:00 AM on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Ragsdale Cemetery.
Mr. Rovsek passed away on Friday, April 20 at Generations Nursing Home in
Spencer, TN.

John was born in Hillsboro, TN, the son of the late John F. Rovsek, Jr.
and Josephine May Farrar. He was formerly a painter at Batesville Casket
Company. John loved reading the Bible, gardening, painting houses,
listening to gospel and Elvis music, and playing pool. In his later
years, he enjoyed watching birds. He grew the biggest and best-tasting
tomatoes by hand packing 50-year old horse manure around each plant.

In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by the mother
of his children, Clara Phipps Rovsek Gipson. He is survived by one son,
John Wayne Rovsek; two daughters, Tammy Rovsek Slone and Deborah Jo
Rovsek; and seven grandchildren, Christopher, Denise, Angela, Kevin,
Megan, Hannah Grace, and Blake.

4/25/18–Jeffery Newton Nunley

Jeffery Newton Nunley age 42 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018.

He was manager of Advance Auto Parts in Mcminnville. Jeff enjoyed playing the bass guitar, piano, singing and woodworking. His greatest passions were his family, his friends, good food and the beach at Tybee Island.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Clara Nunley, Harbert and Hilda Caldwell; mother, Mae Dean Nunley; nephew, Dustin Nunley.

Survivors include his children, Trey and Luke Nunley, Alex and Blake Morrison, Cody (Kayla) Hill and Hunter Hill; fiance, Shannon J. Hill; parents, Henry Newton and Sue Nunley; brothers, Howard L. Nunley and Mike (Vicky) Green; sisters, Connie (Kelly) Overturf, Treva (William) Orange, Theresa “Happy” (Jimmy) Copeland, Donna (Ricky) Caldwell; grandchildren, Leighton Hill and Maddoxx St. John; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

4/25/18 — James Forrest Kennedy

James Forrest Kennedy of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, April
21, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 90. Mr.
Kennedy was born in Tullahoma to the late James F. and Eva Carroll
Kennedy Sr. During his life he worked for 40 years as a forklift driver
at TN Tanning, and was a devoted member of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kennedy is preceded in death by his
beloved wife of 59 years, Jean Harris Kennedy; one daughter, Charolette
Elizabeth Kennedy; two brothers, Jerry and Bobby Kennedy; two sisters,
Ann Kennedy, and Mary Laird; and one son-in-law, David Lusk. He is
survived by one son, Randy Kennedy and his wife Karen of Tullahoma; three
daughters, Debbie Kennedy of Tullahoma, Tammy Holden and her husband
Michael of Tullahoma, and Lesa Lusk of Manchester; one brother, Bill
Kennedy and his wife Tan; three sisters, Ruth Atnip, Jane Tankersley, and
Betty Partin and her husband Harold; 9 grandchildren, Sandy Long and her
husband James, Angie Holt and her husband Tim, Lexie Holden, Chelsea
Chellstorp and her husband Chad, David Lee Lusk, James Lusk and his wife
Hollie, Brandy Duke and her husband Kevin, Brooke Loomes and her husband
Andy, and Bradley Kennedy and his wife Kayla; 10 great-grandchildren,
Justin, Libbie, Kaleb, Ricky Lee, Addison, Shyanne, Landon, Fallon,
Forrest, and Mackenzie; one great-great-grandson, Elijah, and two more
great-great-grandchildren expected soon. Visitation for Mr. Kennedy will
be held on Tuesday, April 24th from 5:00-9:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, April 25th at 11:00am in the
Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Harold Partin Jr. officiating. Burial
will follow at Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma.

4/24/18 — Bessie Maude Parks Gonzales

Gonzales, Bessie Maude Parks, of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Friday, April 20th, 2018 at her home at the age of 89. Mrs. Gonzales was
born in Lynchburg to the late Carl and Lala Christine Ashby Parks. During
her life she worked at Harton Regional Medical Center on the switchboard
and in admitting. She also had worked at the Vallejo Clinic in Tullahoma
and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to
her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Johnny Gonzales; and one
daughter, Debra Denise Ruff. Mrs. Gonzales is survived by five sons,
Johnny Gonzales Jr. and his wife Theresa of San Antonio, Texas, Michael
Gonzales and his wife Shara of Tullahoma, Mark Gonzales and his wife Kate
of Tullahoma, Ralph Gonzales of Louisville, Kentucky, and Bill Gonzales
and his wife Marty of Tullahoma; one daughter, Shirley Floyd of
Tullahoma; three brothers, Lee V. Parks of Belvidere, Billy Parks and his
wife Mae of Winchester and Mack Parks of Winchester; 21 grandchildren,
Joseph, Timothy, Mary, Jennifer, Daniel, Juliana, Frank, Karen, John,
Beth, Kristen, Katie, Mark, Paul, Abby, Ben, Jason, Jeremy, Jacob,
Monica, and Alex; and 30 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held
on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic
Church with Father Stephen Klasek officiating. Burial will follow at Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens.

4/26/18 — Mildred Newman Casteel

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Newman Casteel, age 93, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Manchester Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Pullum officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 25. Mrs. Casteel passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN.

Mildred was born in Coffee Co., TN to the late William and Sally Newman. She was a homemaker for her three boys. In her lifetime, Mrs. Casteel was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved sewing, gardening, canning, and refinishing furniture. Her favorite past time was keeping her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil L. Casteel; one grandson, Ryan Casteel; two brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Kenny (Connie), Eddie, and Benny Casteel; one brother, George Newman; one sister, Betty Fraley; four grandchildren, Nathan Casteel, Nicole (Josh) Carney, Jessica (Dennis) Bond, and Jason (Courtney) Casteel; and five great-grandchildren, Cade and Becca Casteel, Daxton and Fletcher Carney, and Hannah Bond.

4/22/18 — Pamela Lourie Jernigan

Funeral services for Mrs. Pamela Lourie Jernigan, age 71, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dee Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, April 21. Mrs. Jernigan passed away suddenly at her residence on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Manchester, TN.

Pamela was born in Hammond, Indiana to the late James Hill and Mildred Goad. Before retiring she worked as an LPN for over 25 years. Earlier in life Pamela loved to cross-stitch. Being a grandmother and great-grandmother was her favorite gift in life.

In addition to her parents, Pamela is also preceded in death by her brother, Danny Hill. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Raleigh Jernigan; two daughters, Renee (Matt) Taylor and Kelley Taylor; one sister-in-law, Sandra Hill; four grandchildren, Krislyn (Nathan) Melson, Andrew (Matt) McCarthy-Clark, Hayley Clark, and Zachary Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Clara Lourie and Isaac August Melson.

4/22/18–Laura Lou Reasonover

Reasonover, Laura Lou,of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday,
April 17th, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Nashville at the age of 77. Mrs.
Reasonover was born in Sidney, Missouri to the late Gerald and Irene
Cowan Lewis. Mrs. Reasonover was a member of the church of Christ at
Cedar Lane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
brother, Larry Lewis. Mrs. Reasonover is survived by her husband Woodson
“Woody” Reasonover of Tullahoma; two daughters, Cynthia Kay Hayes and her
husband Mark of Pulaski, and Rachel Ann Cosby and her husband Bob of
Sherman, Texas; one son, Kenneth Lee Reasonover of Panama City, Florida;
one brother, Roger Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Alex Cole
Reasonover, Brett A. Reasonover, Brian Hayes, Sarah Hayes, Morgan
Reasonover, and Aaron Reasonover; and two great-grandchildren, Melody and
Harmony Reasonover. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April
22nd, 2018 at 2:00pm at the church of Christ at Cedar Lane with Bro. Gary
Johnson officiating. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family

4/20/18 — Edward Quinton Martin, Jr.

Mr. Edward Quinton Martin Jr., 60, passed away at his home
in Old Hickory, Tennesse on April 14, 2018. He was born in Willow,
Oklahoma on February 16, 1958 to Edward Quinton Martin Sr. and Helen
Adair Martin who preceded him in death along with his brother, Clifford
Martin.
He was a computer technician working from his home in Old Hickory. He
grew up in Manchester and was a 1976 Graduate of Coffee County High
School. He loved to watch Oklahoma Sooners football with his children
and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, McKenzie Rose Martin, Knoxville,
Tennessee; sons, Edward Q. Martin III and Robert Shane Martin, both of
Old Hickory; mother of his children, Laura Martin, Old Hickory.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21st, 11:00 am
at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
