5/1/2018 Joyce Janene Keele

Keele, Joyce Janene,passed this life on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at
Alexian Brothers Valley Residence in Chattanooga at the age of 82. Mrs.
Keele was born in Lynchburg to the late Elbert and Lucille Mitchell
Brown. She was a teacher for 39 years, spending 37 of those years with
the Tullahoma City School System. Mrs. Keele was a member of the United
Methodist Church of Lynchburg and enjoyed playing the piano. She also
loved to sew for others as well as for herself. After retirement, Janene
and her husband, E.C. enjoyed many years of traveling. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband E.C. Keele; and one
son, Ronnie Keele. Mrs. Keele is survived by two daughters, Melanie
Morris and her husband Craig of Chattanooga and Lea Ann Kobeck and her
husband Mike, also of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Katie Shirley and
her husband Asa, Ronald Keele Jr, Tiffanie Kobeck and Corey Keele; and
one great-grandson, Ace. Visitation for Mrs. Keele will be held on
Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00pm with the
funeral to immediately follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Joe Rutherford
officiating. Burial will follow at Lynchburg City Cemetery. For those who
wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
Library at East Lincoln Elementary School, 700 East Lincoln Street,
Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.

5/2/18–T.L. Bolin

Bolin, T.L., of Manchester, passed this life on Sunday, April 29th,
2018 at Manchester Health Care Center at the age of 89. Mr. Bolin was
born in Madison County, Alabama to the late Brice and Floye Rollins
Bolin. He joined United State Navy in February of 1949 and served his
country proudly until his retirement in August of 1969. Mr. Bolin then
moved back to Tennessee in 1970 and worked at Carrier Corporation for
one-year testing completed air conditioning units. He then worked for
Arnold Engineering Development Center as an Electrician where he tested
jet engines, before moving to the rocket section, testing rocket engines
to above 100,000lbs. Mr. Bolin enjoyed several different hobbies,
including golfing, fishing, hunting, going to yard sales, and making and
selling golf clubs. He also loved spending time with his grandkids and
was a very loving husband and father. Mr. Bolin was a member of the New
Life United Pentecostal Church as well as the Fleet Reserve Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Terry
and Patrick Bolin; and three sisters, Ruth Scolaski, Reba Mae McQuary and
Marie Crocker. Mr. Bolin is survived by his loving wife, Annette Bolin of
Manchester; one daughter, Carla Bolin of Tullahoma; one son, Mike Bolin
and his wife Pam of Knoxville; one brother, James LaRue and his wife
Linda of Manchester; two sisters, Nancy England and her husband Tom of
Florida and Wanda Hoilman and her husband Rom of Florida; seven
grandchildren, Jason, Benjamin, Megan, Jared, Ariel, Trevor and Katelyn;
and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Odin and Cheyenne.
Visitation for Mr. Bolin will be held on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at
Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel
with Bros. Philip Swinford and Jimmy Kelley officiating. Burial will
follow at Bethany Cemetery in Normandy.

Janice “Jan” Petschauer

Janice Anne Plane Petschauer of Manchester, Tennessee passed this earth
into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was
77. Janice was born on July 27, 1940 in Norwich, England to the late
George Plane and Violet Pope Wood. It was while serving as a telephone
operator in the Royal Air Force at Brampton Air Force Base near Huntingdon,
England, that Janice met Joseph Petschauer, an airman in the U. S. Air
Force serving at Alconbury Air Force Base in Huntingdon. They were married
and moved to the United States in 1961. Joe and Jan were married 59 years.
They moved from Springfield, Illinois, to Manchester in 1979. Janice loved
children, knitting for her family, taking care of others and expressing
love for her grandchildren. She was a nursing home administrator through
the 70s and in recent years she operated Small Wonders Day Care in
Manchester.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by a brother,
Michael Plane and half-sisters, Rosamund “Pauline” Murphy and Sally
Kempinska. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; one son,
Michael Petschauer (Darlene) of Belleville, IL; three daughters, Maria
Porter (Dennis) of Dyer, IN, Cindy Trail (Robert) of Manchester, TN and
Stacey Wiedower (Lance) of Collierville, TN; seventeen grandchildren and
twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in June in
Springfield, IL.

Katherine Smith Morgan (1935-2018) Katherine Marie Smith Morgan, “Ma” or
“Mert” age 82 of Hillsboro, TN departed this life at 3:20 AM on April 26,
2018, while at St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN to be with the love
of her life Revice Eugene Morgan Sr. She was born to Edgar Lavoid and
Evelyn Weitz Smith in Tullahoma, TN on May 26, 1935. Services will be held
at Central Funeral Home in Manchester TN. Visitation with the family will
be Sunday, April 29, from 3:00 to 9:00 and Monday, April 30, from 11:00 to
1:30. Services will following immediate at 2:00 with burial at the Prairie

numerous other family and friends that she loved dearly. Katherine worked
alongside Revice on the family farm as well as caring for her children and
their home She was an active volunteer with various activities for the
Hillsboro School over the years from preparing chilli for the Hillsboro
School Booth at the Coffee County Fair to the days of the Hillsboro
Homecoming. She was left to care for their youngest child “Rouk” in 1976
after the death of Revice. She provided childcare in her home for several
children in the community. Brittney Nichols, Amie McCormick Keele, Todd
McCormick, Colleen Freeman Morton, Gabe Freeman, Shawn and Greg Sizemore,
and Kristi Davis Huskey are some of her special little ones. In 2002,
Katherine started working as the first site-director of the Hillsboro
Extended School Program for the Coffee County School System. She worked in
that capacity for twelve years. Her next work-related activities revolved
around businesses that she and Rouk purchased, the Phillips 66 Pit Stop,
the Video Corner and the 41 Drive-In.

Shirley M. Prater

Shirley M Prater of Estill Springs, passed this life on Thursday, April 26,
2018 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 62 years. No services are
scheduled.

Mrs. Prater, a native of Nashville, was the daughter of the late Richard
Bryant and Edith Troxel Hartman. She loved music and going to the ocean.
She
enjoyed gardening, reading and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gwynn
Prater and granddaughter, Abigail Pack.

Mrs. Prater is survived by one son, Nathan Pack of Sparta; one daughter,
Holly Pack of Estill Springs; brother, Walter Hartman of Only, TN and one
grandson, Nalan Pack.

4/28/18 — James Clayton Henley, Sr.

Mr. James Clayton Henley Sr., 66, a resident of Coffee County
went to be with the Lord, Wednesday April 25, 2018 at the Alive Hospice in
Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther
Henley; step-father, William Forrest Parker; sister, Janet Clark.

He was a native of Manchester and was retired from Henley & Son TV Service
in Manchester. He loved to fish and be on the water.

He is survived by his son, James Clayton Henley Jr., Manchester; his
mother, Virginia Wilson Parker, Tullahoma; sister, Patsy Henley, Tullahoma;
mother of his son, Danniele Carli of Illinois; several nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with Minster Michael Owens officiating with burial to Follow in the
Rutledge Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

6/9/18 — Ross Sherman Zimmerman

Mr. Ross Sherman Zimmerman, 70, passed away, Tuesday April 24, 2018 at his
home in McMinnville with his wife at his bedside. He was born in Berkley
Springs, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lady Grace
Bricker Zimmerman; sister, Linda Pryor.

He was a project manager for Harpers and Company in Hillsboro and a US Army
veteran. He enjoyed traveling with his family, camping, riding his Harley
and taking care of his honey do list at home. He enjoyed farming on his
Moonshine Hills Farm. He was always there and his door was always open for
a friend in need.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years and caregiver, Cindy Harper
Zimmerman; sons, Billy Mason, Montgomery, TX, Phillip Bollenbeck, Laredo,
TX; daughters, Melanie Spence, Commanchee, OK, Lynn Murphy, Round Rock, TX,
Tammi Bollenbeck and Autumn Bollenbeck of McMinnville; sister, Pat Musser,
Mercersburg, PA; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, Saturday June 9,
2018 at 5:00 PM with reception to follow. Visitation with the family and

5/2/18–Madeleine “Midge” Blackburn

Madeleine “Midge” Blackburn of Tullahoma, passed this life after an
extended illness on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Tennova Harton at the age of
75 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11
AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Stephen Klasek
officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later time. The
family will receive friends at St. Paul’s Catholic Church from 10 AM – 11
AM.

Mrs. Blackburn was born in Chicago, IL to the late Carl and Cecelia Ziaja
Schultz. Her family was very important to her and she “spoiled” all her
family members. She loved cooking and was an excellent cook. Mrs.
Blackburn had a quick wit and a soft compassionate heart. She loved
helping and doing for others. She was also an animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John
Schultz.

Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her devoted husband and soul mate of 57
years, Michael Blackburn, Sr. of Tullahoma; three sons, Michael Blackburn,
Jr. and his wife, Susan of Tullahoma, Jeffrey Blackburn of Chicago, IL and
Robert Blackburn and his wife, Yasmina of Elk Grove Village, IL; one
brother, Carl Shultz, JR and his wife, Louise of Rockford, IL; three
sisters, Joan Schultz of Tullahoma, Cecelia Baldassari and her husband,
Gary of Marengo, IL and Katherine Kier and her partner, Bulente Ike of
Renton, WA; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Kyle) Rogers, Samantha (Derrick)

4/27/18 — Gwenn Savannah Corey Marie Freeze

Joint funeral services for Gwenn Savannah Corey Marie Freeze, age 18 of
Texas, formerly of Manchester, and Daniel Paul Gassman, age 21 also of
Texas, formerly of Hillsboro, will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, at
2 PM at the New Life Church in Manchester on Asbury Rd. with Brother
Jonathan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, April 26th
from 5-8 PM at Central Funeral Home and on Friday from 10 AM until time
of service at New Life Church. Savannah passed away on Monday, April 23th
in AL after a tragic car accident.
Savannah was born on May 16, 1999, to Milton Freeze and Christy Moss in
Tullahoma, TN. She was a high school graduate from Coffee County Central
High School in 2017. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially hiking and
taking long walks, working out, and writing poems.
Savannah is survived by her father, Milton Freeze and wife, Paula;
mother, Christy Moss (Quinton Huskey); sisters, Alexandra and Kalei
Freeze, Madelyn D’Auria and Jaelyn Smith, all of Manchester; and a host
of friends.
