5/9/18 — Linda Kay Milligan

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Kay Milligan, age 65, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Mrs. Milligan passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at her residence in Manchester, TN.

Linda was born in Coffee County, TN to the late Jesse and Annie Moore. She was a homemaker and loved making crafts. Her favorite past time was sewing and making ceramic dolls. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Linda is also preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Robert Milligan; one son, Robert (Mindy) Milligan, Jr.; two sisters, Faye Carlson Thompson and Mary Friel; and one grandson, Parker Milligan.

Penny Lee Goff Stephens

Penny Lee Goff Stephens age 54 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was born July 31, 1963 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late Jack Landis Goff and Molly Ellen Thompson. She was also preceded in death by grandparents Orion and Berta Tipton Goff and Raymond and Josie Bell Williams Thompson.
She is survived by her children Johnny and Willy Stephens and their father Johnny Stephens. Sisters; M. Emaline Goff Collins of Leslie, Arkansas, Patricia Goff Tucker of Shelbyville, Ashley Pride Walker of Huntsville, Alabama, one brother; Patrick Mullican of Hillsboro. She also leaves behind Thompson aunts and uncles; Barbara Willoughby, Wanda Lusk, Charles ,James, David and Kenneth of Manchester and Reynolds and William of Texas, along with six nieces, seven nephews, many cousins and her longtime loving companion, Dennis Jamison of Manchester.
Penny attended Coffee County High School and spent her life living and working in Manchester. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and like to do things her way.
A private memorial service will take place at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd at a later date.

5/7/18 — Benjamin H. Sheffield, Sr.

Mr. Benjamin H. Sheffield, Sr of Tullahoma passed Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Life Care Center.

He is the son of the Booker T. Sr and Annie Rippy Sheffield. He is survived by three daughters, Vivian (Terry) Gordon of Toney, Alabama, Faye Ray of Tullahoma, TN, Ophelia Johnson of Augusta, Ga. Six sons, Duane Sheffield of Augusta, GA, Chris (Milly) Hill of Nashville, TN, Ben Sheffield, JR of Tullahoma, TN; Joe (Joy) Sheffield of Murfreesboro, TN, David Sheffield of Anchorage, AK, Benji Chunn of Shelbyville, TN; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Euralene Sheffield of Tullahoma, TN; Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation Monday, May 7, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Funeral Services to follow at 4:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Elmore Torbert, Jr officiating and Pastor Ramon Wyatt as Eulogist.

Interment Mt. Zion Haley Cemetery.

5/20/18 — Emma Lou Spurlock Morris

Mrs. Emma Lou Spurlock Morris, 82, passed away Wednesday May
2, 2018 at her home. She was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Thomas and Mary
Simpson Powell who preceded her in death along with her husband of 45 years
David Lewis Spurlock; sons, James David and Steven Dale Spurlock; husband,
Alton Morris.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manchester. She
was a graduate Middle Tennessee State University with a teaching degree and
taught school in Coffee County up until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Robert Spurlock of Manchester and her daughter,
Jean Spurlock of Nashville; grandchildren, Julie Spurlock and Ashley
Johnson; great grandchildren, Daisy, Scarlet and Stella; loving nieces.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens on
May 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM with remarks from family and friends. In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements

5/6/18 — Peggy Joan Holden

Peggy Joan Holden age 78 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed this life on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 6, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
A native of Coffee County, TN, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Beatrice Shelton Duke. Mrs. Holden was a member of Riley’s Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family, playing the piano and reading. She loved country and gospel music.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie and Charles Duke and sister-in-law Evelyn Duke.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Holden of Tullahoma, son, Ronnie Holden of Tullahoma, brother, Raymond J “Dinky” Duke and wife Carolyn of Coffee County, grandchildren Kevin and Leslie Holden both of Tullahoma, nephews, Steve Duke and wife Cindy of Auburntown and Ricky Duke and wife Maxine and niece, Sherry Petty and husband Paul all of Lascassas and Dana Morris and husband Tim of Manchester.

5/5/18 — Jadan Malik Davis

It is with great sadness that the family of Jadan Malik Davis announces his
passing on Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 18 years old. Memorial
Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 3 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning
at 1 PM.

Jadan spent his early years in Tullahoma and attended East Lincoln and East
Middle School. He and his family were also members of the Cedar Lane
Church of Christ. He was an artist and wanted to attend the Nashville Art
Institute and eventually become a Tattoo Artist. He loved the outdoors and
being around the water. He also loved music.

Jadan will be lovingly remembered by his mother and father, Leslie and
Anthony Davis of Goodlettsville. Jadan will also be fondly remembered by
his brothers, Cody Anton Davis (Taylor Carnes) of Murfreesboro and Justin
Evan Davis (Ashley Stewart) of Nashville and his sister Olivia Milan Davis
of Tullahoma. He is also survived by his grandparents John and Carolyn
Davis of Tullahoma, Mattie Davis of Nashville and Brenda Jackson of
Lewisburg. Jadan is also survived by his uncles Donnell Davis of Tullahoma,
John and Timothy Davis of Nashville, David Steverson of Tullahoma, Derek
Jackson of Lewisburg and Wade Dunn of Birmingham and many cousins, nieces,
nephews and friends. Jadan was preceded in death by grandfather, Michael
Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be
made in his name to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

5/5/2018–James Robinson “Slick”

Funeral Services for Mr. James Robinson “Slick”, age 81, of Tullahoma, Tn. will be conducted on Saturday May 5th, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Manchester Funeral Home with Pastor Miles Bivins officiating. The Burial will be at the Robinson & Keele Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 5th, 2018 from noon until service time at 1:00 pm at Manchester Funeral Home. The repass service will follow the burial at Little Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson passed away on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma, at his side was his dear friend Lesley Lawson.

James was born on March 20, 1937 in Beech grove, TN to the late Van Hoard and Ola Robinson. He was a lifelong member of the Little Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church in Manchester, TN where he served as a Sunday school teacher and Usher.
James retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. James enjoyed doing yard work, attending estate sales, playing pool, and most importantly being involved in Church activities and the enjoyment of his Family.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brother, Bufford Robinson; three sisters, Lourine Starks, Catherine Robinson, and Rosie Robinson. James is survived by one sister, Dorothy Mae Hill, (Manchester Tn.) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. And he leaves two dear friends Lesley Lawson, Gloria Damron, and the staff from the Damrons Restaurant.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Inez Partin, age 70 of Chattanooga, will be conducted on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at Concord Cemetery with Mike Sellars officiating. Mrs. Partin passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her residence.

5/5/2018–Sherry Denise Binion

Binion, Sherry Denise,of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday,
April 29th, 2018 at her home at the age of 60. Sherry was born in
Manchester to the late Roy V. Fletcher and Jean Crosslin Fletcher, who
survives. During her life she was a Chemist at NAS and was also a member
of Center Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Sherry is
survived by her husband of 38 years, Mike Binion; two daughters,
Stephanie Gayle and her husband Nathan and Sarah Binion and her fiancé
Josh Brunty; step-daughter, Kimberly Haden and her husband Calvin;
step-grandchildren, Dylan and Evan Haden and Emma Brunty; her soon to be
arriving granddaughter, Judith Ophelia Gayle; one sister, Sheila Miller
and her husband Paul; sisters-in law, Heidi Snively and her husband
Richard and Lavon Davis and her husband Stuart; brother-in-law, Tony
Binion and his wife Sheila; and father-in-law, Travis Binion. Visitation
for Sherry will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral
Home from 1:00-3:00pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at
3:00pm with Jason Ramsey and Jeff Rackler officiating. Sherry’s family
has requested that no flowers be sent and instead, donations be made to
Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37203.

4/30/18–Carolyn Ann Swanger

Carolyn Ann Swanger of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, April 27,
2018 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 68 years. Memorial
Services will be scheduled at a later time.

Mrs. Swanger, a native of Hartsville, TN, was the daughter of the late
William and Evelyn Williams Brewster. She loved horses and enjoyed cooking
and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly
Gaona; brother, Terry Brewster and sister, Linda Brown.

Carolyn is survived by one daughter, Tammy Simmons of Manchester; one
brother, William Brewster and his wife, Kathy of Lebanon; four
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
