6/26/18 — Joe C. Warren

Joe C Warren, of Manchester, passed this life on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at
Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester, at the age of 78 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 3 PM at the Wesley
Chapel Church with burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family
will receive friends beginning at 1 PM at the church.

A native of Warren County, he was the son of the late Charles Thurman and
Vera Rogers Warren. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams
being the Tennessee Volunteers, the Atlanta Braves and the Nashville
Predators. He had coached youth baseball in Manchester for many years. He
also enjoyed working in his garden and staying current on local and
national news. His favorite thing was spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother,
Mary Fravel Warren.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Peggy Warren of Manchester; sons, Tim
Warren (Tina) and Mike Warren, both of Manchester; daughter, Patti Warren
of Manchester; sister, Joyce Mullins of Dearborn, MI; five grandchildren,
Lauren Crouch (Jay), Ryne Warren (Emily), Shane Warren, Brooke Morrow and
Shelby Morrow (Koty Potts), all of Manchester; five great grandchildren,
Madison Cox, J C, Caleb, Ebby and Ellie Jo Crouch and several nieces and
nephews.

6/24/18 — David Benjamin McCollough

Funeral services for Mr. David Benjamin McCollough, age 79, will be conducted on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Beechgrove Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Mr. McCollough passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN.

David was born in Beechgrove, TN on July 18, 1938 to the late J.W and Eula McCullough. David enjoyed working in the yard, farming, logging, and most of all being with his loving family.

In addition to David’s parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Darrell McCullough and Cordell McCullough; one sister, Lois McCullough Lowe. David is survived by his loving wife Patricia; three sons, Patrick McCollough (Lyn), Richard McCollough, Tim McCullough (Larissa); three daughters, Davette Wiseman (Charlie) Charlene Dodd (Roger), Darlene Reecer (Robert); one sister, Marie Finney; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

6/23/18–Jodie Elmer Hollis, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. Jodie Elmer Hollis, Jr., age 71 of Manchester, will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Beechgrove Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating. Mr. Hollis passed away on June 8, 2018 at his home. 

Jodie was born on September 11, 1946 in Coffee County to the late Jodie Elmer Hollis, Sr. and Wilma Lucille Hollis. In addition to his parents, Jodie is preceded in death by his son, Jodie Elmer Hollis, III.

Survived by his daughter, Angela Wilson; brothers, Michael Hollis (Tunya), Thomas Hollis; sisters, Wilma Gibson (William), Wanda Workman (Roy); granddaughter, Jamie Wilson.

Sue M. Howard

Sue M Howard, of Manchester, passed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at
the Manchester Health Care Center at the age of 78 years. No services are
scheduled.

A native of Munford, TN, she worked as a cashier. She enjoyed going to
movies and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E Howard and several
brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son, Thomas Howard of
Manchester.

Shirley I. Sandmoen

Shirley I. Sandmoen, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, June 19,
2018 at her residence at the age of 70 years. No services are scheduled.

A native of Cohasset, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Milton
and Clara Brace. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at
Harton Hospital, the Life Care Center of Tullahoma and nursing homes in
Manchester and Winchester. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and
four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ron Sandmoen of Tullahoma;
daughters, Wendy Prince (Michael) and Wanda Horner (Carl Willis), both of
Tullahoma; one sister, Peggy Whitted of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; six
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Ralph Mervin Collins

Mr. Ralph Mervin Collins, age 63, of Manchester, TN passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare in Lebanon, TN. Ralph was born in Coffee County, TN to the late Howard and Arlie Collins. He worked construction most of his life and liked to garden. Ralph loved riding in his slingshot, camping, and watching NASCAR. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, Ralph is also preceded in death by one brother, Boyd Collins. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marsha Collins; two sons, Jason (Tiffany) Collins and Joseph Collins; one brother, Thomas (Norma) Collins; six grandchildren, Skye, Vaden, Cade, Luke, Kiera, and Brooke Collins; two honorary grandchildren, Sophia and Noelle Squier; and one best friend, Sue Adams.

No services are scheduled at this time.

6/20/18 — Jessie Lou Long Bare

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Lou Long Bare, age 85, of Rutledge Hill, will be conducted on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rutledge Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Bare passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at McArthur Manor in Manchester, TN surrounded by her loving family.

Jessie was born in Decherd, TN on June 3, 1933 to the late Jesse and Bessie Long. Jessie was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Alto. She served in the Air Force where she met her husband Wagoner of 61 years. Jessie was a compassionate caregiver for 30 years, providing loving support to many families in their time of need. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles, yard work, traveling, helping others, and most of all being with her family and friends.

In addition to Jessie parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Wagoner H. Bare Jr.; one son, James David Bare (Shari); two brothers, Bud Long and Jimmy Long; three sisters, Lorene Bishop, Rachel Green, Naomi Green. Jessie is survived by her children, Wagoner Ted Bare III (Kaye), Teresa Lynn Bare Boyett (Stephen), Danny Bare (Shane), Phillip Bare (Misty); one sister, Mona Faye Gipson; eight grandchildren; Christopher Boyett, Aaron Boyett, Josh Bare, Tosha Bare, David Bare Jr., Danny Bare Jr., Ashley Bare, McKenzie Bare; and fifteen great grandchildren.

6/20/18 — Julie Ann McBee

JULIE ANN MCBEE, age 58, of Sherwood, departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her residence following an extended illness. Miss. McBee was born on November 1, 1959, in Sherwood, Tenn., to the late William Edward McBee and Bertha Lee Hill McBee. Miss. McBee was employed for approximately 18 years at Shaw Industries as a Heat Set operator. She never met a stranger and loved to talk to people. She enjoyed going to the races with “Punkin” and watching him race. She was his biggest fan. Her favorite hobby was deer hunting.

Miss McBee is survived by her Life Companion, James “Punkin” Shetters of Sherwood, daughter, Dusty Jackson and husband Ronald of Sherwood, 2 Grandchildren, Courtney Jackson of Sherwood, Dylan Jackson also of Sherwood, Sisters; Leona Pendergrass of Sherwood, Linda Prince and husband, Wayne of Sherwood, Brenda Garner and husband, David of Winchester, brothers; William Robert “Cedar Bird” of Sherwood and John Henry McBee of Cowan.

Visitation for Miss. McBee will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, June 19, at the Sherwood Emmanuel Apostolic Church. Services for Miss. McBee are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 20, at the Sherwood Emmanuel Apostolic Church with Bro. Jack Nance, officiating.

6/21/18 — Audrey Morris Turner

AUDREY MORRIS TURNER, age 64, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Monday, June 18, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving and devoted family, losing her battle with cancer. She was born in Winchester, Tenn., on April 18, 1954, to the late Arthur Stephens and Lenora Moon Stephens Trussell. She was a member of the Christian Lighthouse Church in Estill Springs and last attended the End Time Mission in Estill Springs. Mrs. Turner was employed for many years at a garment factory where she was employed in water testing. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, Terry a hobby she didn’t know she liked until after she and Terry married. She also enjoyed camping and going to yard sales. Her favorite past-time was spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morris, granddaughter, Monica Rollins and grandson, Jeffery Chandler. She is survived by her husband, Terry Turner of Estill Springs, Children; Johnny Morris and wife, Tina of Manchester, Lewis Morris and Teresa (Juan) Cruz all of Manchester, Willie Rollins and wife, Crystal and Randall Rollins and wife, Tammy all of Tullahoma. Tina Morris and Aaron Morris both of Hillsboro. Step-children; Caleb Turner of Estill Springs, Ken Turner and wife, Cheryl of Tullahoma, Deanna Liles and husband, Marty and Rachel Turner all of Winchester, Brandy Gifford and husband, Clint of Kentucky. 27, grandchildren and 20, great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Turner will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, June 20, 2018, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 21, 2018, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Bobby Watkins and Bro. Jim Hawkins, officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.

6/23/18–Myrtis Margaret Pittman

Funeral services for Ms. Myrtis Margaret Pittman, age 94, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Manchester with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial will follow in New Reddens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Ms. Pittman passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Life Care Center in Tullahoma, TN.

Myrtis was born in Perry, Florida to the late William and Eva Matthews. She retired in the early 90’s from the Human Resource Agency in Coffee County, and before that she was a kindergarten teacher in Florida and Tennessee. Myrtis loved cooking, gardening, any type of crafting, and she could play the guitar and piano. She loved playing music and singing with her family. Mytris was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Manchester. She taught Sunday School for many years and was very active in church organizations. While her children were growing up she was with them in church.

In addition to her parents, Myrtis is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Willie Pittman; one son, Grady Pittman; one daughter, Margie Pittman; two brothers, Lyle and Berry Matthews; two sisters, Mickey Lovell and Lueree Foxworth; and one son-in-law, Ed Clark. She is survived by one son, Roger (Joyce) Pittman; one daughter, Willie Clark; seven grandchildren, Kim Clark, Jimmy (Linda) Clark, Duane (Tina) Clark, Shane (Jennifer) Pittman, Clint (Karen) Pittman, Cody (Becky) Pittman, and Tippy Pittman; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Myrtis’s name to the First Baptist Church Finish Line Building Fund, 1006 Hillsboro Blvd, Manchester, TN 37355.
